  1. I am sorry, but it is absolutely impossible trying to analyze here on forum what might be wrong in a 300-computers network without any technical data available. It may be due to a myriad of reasons, not necessarily related to our products actually. I would suggest the author writing to our Technical support. Our technical specialists will tell what exact information is required to analyze and solve the issue, and explain how to gather it. It would also help them a lot if you include a detailed description of the issue you are having into your request.

  4. Final word concerning the error with basegui.ppl Questions about the basegui.ppl error have been appearing on this forum from time to time. Some KIS/KAV/Pure users have received the following error message: "There was a problem starting basegui.ppl The specified procedure could not be found" Just to make the matter clear once and for all: This is a very uncommon case, related to our product's running on certain operating systems. The error occurs at the moment the user is clicking a link (e.g. Support or Help) in the main frame of the product. The error does not affect any of the product functions. It will be corrected in KIS/KAV/Pure 2013. There is no uniform method of dealing with it. Each case is specific. In 99.9% of cases it was an OS-specific feature not affecting the performance of our product. Alternately there was an absolutely tiny number of cases when it was a malware. Summing it all up, Feel free to try to find out what your case is by writing to the Technical support service. There is no way to diagnose your exact case on this forum.
  5. Hola, La idea es que la autenticación se debe realizar por los medios del sistema operativo cuando se hace el montaje. Si indican los datos de autenticación en motar el recurso compartido, podrán especificar la ruta nada más o seleccionar la opción All remote como variante. Saludos.

  7. Hola a todos, Hoy hemos publicado la localización castellana de Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers. Está disponible para descarga aquí. Es el mismo Critical Fix 1 que salió en Febrero. No contiene nada nuevo en comparación con CF1 inglés, sino que está localizada la interfaz del programa y los manuales.   13. Hi all, There is Critical Fix 1 for Kaspersky Security 8.0 (Version 8.0.0.5614) available. It eliminates this error. EVERYBODY should upgrade to this new build to avoid this situation repeating in middle March.
  14. Hola! 1. Los puertos de Firewall están abiertos en la máquina cliente (son 137, 139 y 445 creo)? 2. Puede ser hay máquinas clonadas (2 máquinas con el mismo nombre) en Administration Kit? 3. Intente eliminar la máquina con ese problema desde la consola de administración (además se puede quitarla desde el dominio y volver a incluir), ejecutar un sondeo de red en la consola, encontrar esa máquina en el nodo Equipos no asignados e instalar el agente.
