Kaspersky Password Manager

Hi, does the latest version of KPM works on ChromeOS? I'm looking for a password keystore to share passwords across multiple platforms (Mac, ChromeOS, Windows, and Android devices). Suggestions?

It looks like MacOS and Windows use different Chrome plugins, and I don't want to use two various extensions on my browser. Is this expected behavior, and any reason why it's this way? LastPass and other competitors are not working this way; it's a huge dealbreaker.

I am using Windows 10, 1909, with Chome browser extension. I just logged into a website where the password was not stored. The key symbol was in the ID and password fields, but said that the website isn’t in the password manager. I input my ID and password and it did not ask to save it. First time this has happened. Any idea why?

I just generated a 16 digit password with uppercase, lowercase, numbers and special characters and saved it for a website. To my surprise, the password is the same as one I already had saved in another account I created at least a year ago. The chances of me generating a duplicate 16-digit password are practically a mathematical impossibility, 1 in 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. There may be a problem with generating passwords, with the cache or etc. (I'm not an expert on the subject), because the chance of this happening naturally is absurdly minimal. I recently bought a new laptop. I installed KIS and KPM. I opened Edge and found that passwords are not being auto-filled. I installed Firefox, and auto-fill works there. I've checked in Edge and browser password actions are unchecked. How do I get it working?

When I go to a new website and login password manager asks to save password, I say yes but it’s giving me the error message - Entry not saved, no login was specified. See screenshot.

I was thinking about using the Password Manager, but got second thoughts after reading the EULA. But once the EULA is displayed, there is only one way to go, to press Accept button. There is no cancel button, and if you close the window it will be displayed everytime you reboot your PC.

I use Roboform and Proton Pass for password/note/login/etc., data for some time. I tried exporting to .csv format with both, but KPM doesn't import the data. It reports an error. I am not inclined to copy over 182 files manually. While the latter might be a smaller player, the R product is bigger. I do like to have multiple redundancies when protecting such critical information. I would also like to test out KPM and compare it to the R product. The PP product is definitely not as convenient and polished as the R product. Nonetheless, it did accept an R product .csv export upon import. Hi, Because I live in the US I can't download Password Manager on to my new device. I still have Password Manager on my phone but I can't export passwords from the phone; only from from the desktop version (which I can't download as I'm in the US). And, when I try to log in to My Kaspersky account online it doesn't accept the password from my "Kaspersky Password Manager" account and says that, in that case, the original cloud storage will be deleted and I will lose all the saved passwords! I added kaspersky password and protection to chrome and edge. Now it causes a oh snap something went wrong on a website I have used daily for years. when I turn off kaspersky extensions the error goes away and website works. any ideas?

I have Password Manager installed on 3 device (computer and 2 phones). My step daughter recently started college. I was going to buy her a subscription to Kapersky total security. I called customer support and the lady told me I didn't have to buy it because I could use it on 5 devices. My question is, I don't want her to have access to our passwords and we don't need access to hers. If I put her under my license, will she be able to see our passwords? I saw when I logged in, it tells me that I can have 2 users? Does that mean she can create her an account under my license? "Fast hotkey credentials search" is not working correctly. After some characters, for example "I", it writes all the letters in lowercase, not paying attention to the difference between upper and lower case. In this case, the password is not written correctly. A similar error occurs with the characters typed by double-clicking at the end of the password. Like "^" or "~" for example. Kaspersky password manager is excellent and have all the essential features. It even has an option to share the account credentials or secure notes. But only if instead of sharing it in a plain text a link is created which asks for the 6 digit code (which was generated when the user clicks on share option). So that it can be accessed only after entering the 6 digits code of it. Also when a link for share is created it also provides for the time duration as well as how many number of access can be made. Sharing in a plain text is not secure enough. So I hope someone from Kaspersky forwards this suggestion to the concerned app developers and teams of Kaspersky Pa…

It would have been better if they've given option of adding new profile on the webpage or any app while logging in for the first time like in dashlane or 1password. Also should be able to customise templates by adding pics or documents to any passwords/ bank accounts, etc.
