Kaspersky Password Manager

Kaspersky password's popup crashes. When I request a ww I get a popup and it freezes, does anyone have a solution for this

Hello. Can i import my passwords from Bitwarden to Kaspersky Password Manager?

When starting password manager I get the error message: "The application is corrupted, the folder C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\KasperskyPassordManager/24.0\ is missing or damaged." And password manager won't then open. I then reinstall the programme which then works normally. Until I re-boot the PC at which time I get the same error message again. I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times but still get the same problem. Any ideas? Thank you

I have installed the Password Manager plugin on Google Chrome, which is working fine on my personal computer. At work, when I click on the plugin, it says I need to download and install password manager. I am not allowed to install applications on a work computer. Is there a way around this? I was using Last Pass and didn't have to install anything to use that plugin at work. If I am unable to use it at work, it becomes useless to me and I will have to go back to something else. Several competitor products have this, and it's a very good fail-safe - if I delete an entry, possibly by accident, I want to be able to restore it. Right now the app is very unforgiving - when I delete an entry by accident it's lost forever. Instead, it should be placed into the bin and deleted after, say, 30/60/90 days.

I've set the autolock vault timer to 'Never'. Still, every time I close my browser/restart my PC, the vault is locked (both the browser extension and the App).

When using any browser (tested in Chrome, Firefox or Edge) and accessing a login page, the KPM browser extensions suggests login credentials that are not for that website or even the same domain. Several times the credentials suggested include a bunch of options and it is difficult to figure out which one is the correct. When I open the application and search for the website credentials, it only shows me the ones that are right for that website or domain. Please see images for visualization of the problem.

hi, I am a web developer, I have a simple little question to ask, Is it normal for the password manager (KPM) to feed inputs (text) that have the autocomplete attribute set to off? In one of my user administration modules, when I want to modify a user it replaces the login of the user being modified with mine. What is the KPM basis for matching fields and feeding them? I tried changing the name and id of the input, but KPM still feeds it. thx for your help

Hi all, I don't have good encryption knowledge so my question may seem very layman, but I want to understand how KPM works. I understand that KPM stores the passwords in an encrypted form. But What happens when I unlock the vault. Does it store the passwords in storage devices in unencrypted form or does it just keep it in memory? If it's stored in hard drive, then it is pretty vulnerable. And if it's stored in ram the hackers can get a memory dump and suddenly they will have all of my passwords. How do I choose Kaspersky Password Manager in android phone settings so it is kaspersky password manager that makes my password everytime I have to make a new password?

I've been using Kaspersky password manager for years now on multiple PC's. So I can log in on any account from every PC. But I don't want my kids that are now becoming tech savvy to be able to access bank accounts and other sensitive sites. How do I arrange for sensitive accounts to be only available from my own PC and not the others? Do I need a separate KPM for that? Appreciate any advice. Regards, Otly

I've noticed I've had to constantly supply a password to open PM and I also am pretty sure that the password vault in stored on my computer. Figuring that malware can get on my computer and specifically try to export the PM vault, I began to wonder how secure my passwords were from hackers ? Understanding that security tokens can now be used for passwordless logins, can't something like that be incorporated with logging into PM ?

It looks like MacOS and Windows use different Chrome plugins, and I don't want to use two various extensions on my browser. Is this expected behavior, and any reason why it's this way? LastPass and other competitors are not working this way; it's a huge dealbreaker.

Could you please take note of the following issue? Importing data from Google is not working correctly. Also, the username and password sections are misaligned, with one section appearing one line below the other. When importing data, KPM seems to mix up the website and username fields, password, and website fields. As a result, I am currently unable to use KPM. Please let me know when the update will fix this issue.

Why does the password security vault export to a txt file, when most every other passwords require a csv file. I just want to put my passwords in Kaspersky to chrome, and I understand that if I understood how to create a csv file from the data in the txt file, I could probably find some way of exporting. Why would I have to though? I should be able to export these to any format I want.

What are the features of password manager in Kaspersky plus, as it is confusing. In the comparison between Kaspersky plus and premium features in the website it says under password protection the exact same thing that you can store your data and documents, if so then what is the use of the identity protection wallet in the premium option, please advice as I don't know which version to buy because of the password protection vague explanation.
