  1. Hi @Depka , This issue will be fixed in the next major release of the product. Expected in Q1 2022.
  2. Hi @KoelMeester , From my personal point of view, yes, Kaspersky Total Security provides virus&threat protection, Firewall&network protection, App&browser control. Your system is well protected, no doubt. An option for you to conder, is Windows refresh: “Refresh your PC to reinstall Windows and keep your personal files and settings. Refresh also keeps the apps that came with your PC and the apps you installed from the Microsoft Store.” https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/how-to-refresh-reset-or-restore-your-pc-51391d9a-eb0a-84a7-69e4-c2c1fbceb8dd You will have to reinstall the applications that were installed not from Microsoft Store. But the system should get back to its original state.
  3. Hi @Lash77 , Can you tell the name and the location of the file?
  4. Hi Flood, I just tested as well, it works exactly as it should. No information on data collection attemps with the disabled option “Data collection attempt” in Notification settings. Let’s see how it works out for @iron
  5. Hi @yonder81 , We would like to further investigate this issue. Do you mind submitting a ticket to technical support via my.kaspersky.com?
  6. Hi @RGausMH , Can you please describe a bit more the scenario. Would you like to be able to sort entries/websites by modification date?
  7. Hi @Clearcomms , Did you try settings restore, as Schulte has advised? If the problem still persists, does it help to: disable Kaspersky Firewall or Web Anti-Virus? (Restart browser after disabling and check) if not, does it help to pause protection and then restart browser? If pausing does not help, disable encrypted connections scan via Settings -> Network settings -> set it to 'Do not scan network connections', restart browser, how will it go?
  8. Hi @Buzz , Should be no issues using BitLocker and Kaspersky backup vaults. I just successfully tested this scenario: enabled BitLocker enctypted the drive c:\ restarted PC created a vault with Kaspersky restored the files from the vault to a folder
  9. Hi Flood, yes, it can be it, you are right. In this case disabling below option should do it:
  10. Hi @iron , It is not clear which reports show your private tab browsing history? Web Anti-Virus reports? It can show browsing history if you enabled in Settings → Interface → Notification settings → Web Anti-Virus:
  11. Hi @Unnyz , The Scan.Generic.PortScan.UDP attack means some application is scanning the availability of network ports on your system. Kaspersky Network Attack Blocker detects this activity and blocks it. Strictly speaking “Scan.Generic.PortScan.UDP” is not exactly an attack, but only port scanning. There is even a setting in the product under Settings → Protection → Network Attack Blocker → “Treat port scanning and network flooding as attacks”. In some rare cases there can be a false detection of Scan.Generic.PortScan.UDP, technical support would need to gather additional logs to check. Either way, you are protected and safe.
  12. Добрый день, Не до конца понятно, о чем речь. Можете, пожалуйста, сделать и опубликовать скриншот? (пароли-логины закрасить для приватности).
  13. Malware analysts confirmed the false alarm, it will be fixed soon.
  14. Hi @Depka , Working on this issue in frames of bug 5070366, when there is news, we will post an update.
  15. Hi @KoelMeester , I cant find Security Center or Security Services running. Are these turned of by Kaspersky? Why arent they showing? I have Security Center running on my PC with Kaspersky installed. In case with a corrupted system you may try to restore the system by sfc/dism commands combination, please check out this instruction from Microsoft support:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e Disable Remote Desktop (if you are not on Windows Home): - type “remote settings” into the Cortana search box. - open Remote Desktop properties. - disable "Enable Remote Desktop". You've now disabled remote access to your computer. Use the following set of instruction to secure your router and wi-fi network: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/windows/12779 Use System Configuration and Task Manager to disable unknown services (make sure to leave Microsoft services enabled), remove unfamiliar applications from start up.
  16. hi @Tommy65 , Checking the possible false detection, thank you for reporting. As for the issue creating a ticket to support - this is a known one, we are working on resolution. I will post here when I get a response from malware analysts on the detection of Trojan-Downloader.MSIL.Seraph.ars
  17. Hola y bienvenidos. Puedo recomendar restaurar la configuración del Chrome a su estado predeterminado para limpiar este sitio web. Puede encontrar más información aquí: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3296214?hl=es
  18. Hi @Alucard , Thank you for the screenshot. We can see that Network Attack Blocker successfully protects your computer from the Bruteforce.Generic.Rdp.d. You can check the list of blocked IP addresses at More Tools → My Network → Network Monitor → Blocked computers. In addition to what you have already done (the ports, credentials) I can recommend to disallow external connections to local machines on port 3389 (TCP/UDP) or any other RDP port in your router firewall.
  19. Hi @Alucard , Please provide a bit more information on the attacks that are not stopped by the ‘Network Attack Blocker’. What attacks are those? Can you post a screenshot?
  20. Hi @Welewa , Do you mind submitting a ticket to technical support via my.kaspersky.com for further investigation of this issue?
