  1. Hi @technoholic.me , Keeping the option “Do not scan encrypted connections” enabled is not safe and not recommended. You can as a workaround add the problem sites to exclusions via Settings → Network settings → Trusted addresses → Add.
  2. Olá, reproduzimos o problema em nosso laboratório. Estamos investigando. Assim que houver notícias, atualizaremos o incidente.
  3. Hi , Thank you for the update. We reproduced the issue in-lab, investigating. Will update this topic when there is news. You can as a workaround add the problem sites to exclusions via Settings → Network settings → Trusted addresses → Add.
  4. Hi @DR_NOMAD , @Goro , @Shane , @Dre , @onova , @imusingkasperskyyay , Do you have Safe Kids installed on the machine? What is its version? You can check by hovering the mouse pointer over the Safe Kids icon in taskbar or by right-clicking and selecting “About”. If you already sent a ticket to technical support, please PM me its number.
  5. Hi @o87 and all, The issue is fixed, the fix will be released with the next version of the product, which is expected in early 2022. There is nothing to worry with regards to this issue, it is only cosmetic and it does not influence the functionality of the product in any way.
  6. Cannot give any ETA at the moment, as soon as I have any information, I will post an update. Thanks for your feedback!
  7. Yeah, a close one 😂 I see your point regarding the statements separation, I believe we can do that adjustment.
  8. Let’s see, it says “The Premium version allows using the application full functionality for one My Kaspersky account only.”. It is here to provide additional information, e.g. reply a possible question: “How many My Kaspersky accounts can I use with Premium version?”. It is not a benefit of Premium version, as Free can be used with My Kaspersky account as well. The phrase “One My Kaspersky account can be connected to 100 children profiles and 500 devices.” is not related to Premium/Free differences, it is about limitations of My Kaspersky account + Safe Kids.
  9. Hello @Flood and Flood's wife , For KSK Free x and y should be the same: 100 and 500. The thing is that this limitation is not a limitation of functionality (having more than 100 children is not a very common situation), but rather a common sense limitation to prevent overload of the system. For example, if by mistake someone starts creating endless kids profiles, the process would stop at 100 profiles and not at 1.000.000.000 when there would theoretically be some problems processing such volumes of data.
  10. Hi @krischeu , The driver bddci.sys is related to BitDefender and can cause BSODs. This driver could be installed as a part of Web Companion. We recommend to uninstall Web Companion (if it is installed) to fix the issue. Hi @Hairy Scot, Can you create a full memory dump as per the instruction: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/diagnostics/12402 Put the dump into an archive (to reduce its size), then upload to some cloud and pm me the link to download the dump?
  11. Hi @Qynklee , Upload the file here: https://opentip.kaspersky.com/ , if it is not detected → click “Submit to re-analyze” and provide a comment.
  12. Hi Flood, Thank you for reporting this, we will get it fixed. Tags KPM, KSK are available?
  13. Buenos, Manuela, ¿Puede dar un enlace donde descargue el instalador?
  14. Hi @bobo222 , To be 100% sure the file is clean, you can upload the file at https://opentip.kaspersky.com and press ‘Submit to reanalyze’ for the malware analysts to check.
  15. Hi @Snowwolfboi , Disinfection can take some time if malware is found inside some big file, for example some .iso file of 4Gb in size. Can you give more details: where the malware is detected, how long does it take to disinfect?
  16. Hi Flood, Hardware and software requirements will be updated soon (in about a week or so).
  17. From my experience, scripts that can attempt to download something inappropriate can reside in Chrome settings/temporary files and/or certain extentions can attempt to download something ‘bad’. Resetting helps to clean the browser completely.
  18. Hi @bobo222, Most likely you will be fine after the trial version of Kaspersky Internet Security expires: the script was blocked. I would recommend to reset Chrome as per instruction: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en When you reset Chrome, you won't lose any bookmarks or passwords, but all your other settings will revert to their original conditions.
  19. Hi Flood, thanks for your instruction. Another way to do it is to click on “Download denied” event and below will show up a window with more details, click on this window, scroll down and make a screenshot.
  20. Hi @bobo222 , Can you please give a bit more details? Click More Tools → Reports → on the left click ‘Web Anti-Virus’ → select the time ‘Week’ or ‘Month’ → find the event of blocking a download, click on it, make a screenshot and post here.
  21. Hi @Sevi , It is a BitDefender anti-virus driver. Most likely it causes the BSOD. The solution would be to create a Windows restore point (just in case), then rename bddci.sys to bddci_old.sys
