Kaspersky Safe Kids

Hi team. I have successfully installed KSK on my daughter`s phone, then on my Iphone to control the phone. I have also installed the app on the Ipad to restrict the use and I am getting a loop. After installing KSK appears a message that mentions that a profile will be installed. I choose accept, the browser starts, ask for permission to install the profile and then asks to go to settings again to repeat the operation. Any suggestion? Thanks

Kaspersky Safe Kids for Windows is Version 1.0.5 patch D on my kid’s computer. In the release notes of patch E, it says that patch E is automatically installed by the kaspersky safe kids database update. Patch E was released 2 weeks ago and my kid’s installation is stll on patch D. Why is it not updated and what can I do to update it? Can I force a “database update” somehow?

Kaspersky safe kids doesn't work and keeps blocking everything, I also tried to access the portal from my PC and it keeps displaying HTTP 404 - Not Found.

Hallo, For some periods of time each day we allow the use of the PC for the kids to play games and additional time for ONLY for communication/ watching netflix youtube etc. Is there a simple way of doing this? Unfortunately the apps console does not catch all games especially and I have to manually check what websites and other games have been installed. Thank you for any feedback.

Hello Kaspersky Team, I would like to share how my kid managed to disable the app and remove it. The kids phone is Samsung A20e, andriod 10 patch level 1 April 2020. The app is pin locked and the Settings Menu of the phone is forbidden in the app. So there are the steps how he managed to do it: Opens the Settings menu which is automatically blocked by SafeKids and closed. Taps the Recents button (III) and long presses on the Settings icon above the window. A menu is displayed from which he chooses “Open in pop-up view” The settings are displayed in scaled down window whit no blocking from SafeKids. I have a problem at first where my screen time limits wasn't working anymore for my kid. Upon checking the device connection I found that I have no connection happening between the app and the computer. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall the program. it wont let me in any possible way to access either to uninstall properly or re install. Hi, I set blocking from time x to time y. Work perfectly. But I set some application as allowed on blocked device, but this applications are still blocked.

I have installed Kaspersky safe kids but am unsure if this is just a kid activity checker or AV as well? Do I need to install Total Protection also on the machine?

I bought the premium version of Kapersky Kid Safe for my 14 year old son who has tech addiction, to limit his total screen time, and within about 15 minutes he had managed to uninstall it from both his Windows PC and his Android phone. He did not have my password: he used a registry editing technique he found on youtube for the PC, and for the Android phone he said he deleted it using the settings app. (I'm not so familiar with Android myself.) How can I set Kaspersky Kid Safe up so that it can't easily be uninstalled? Surely the Kaspersky company's software is more secure than a 14 year old kid in his bedroom?

As written in the title, recently safe-search is not activated when using Chrome, the only Browser Kaspersky Safe Kids supports. Search engine without said feature are also permitted. Finally, with the addition of the preview site option for Chrome (still in beta) you can access a site without actually reach its URL and remain in the google search page; this completely bypass the protection of KSK if that site pops up among the search results, that is if safe-search isn't working. I set a four hour time limit and Kaspersky uses all the time from 00:00 to 04:00. How do I stop Kaspersky from counting down the usage time when no one is on the PC?

In the last few days, I have not been able to change safe kids settings either on the parent app on my phone ( stuck on continous circle of doom saying “please wait, loading data...) or on the website (constantly asks me to log in using my credentials) when I try on the website, it claims the password has changed and I need to log in. when I log in, all it has are my phone id numbers and no way to change the kids settings. Hello, I have Kaspersky Safe Kids (paid version) installed on Android smartphone and Win10 PC of the kid (kid mode). Usually I am controlling updates, allowing apps to run or websites I use the SafeKids app on Android phone, logged in as parent. Now also application is installed on IOS as parent. Hello, On my son’s computer are set two windows accounts, one for playing, one for homework. The play account is set properly: 2 hours a day, and it’s working The homework account is set to block computer from 00:00 to 09:00 and 21:00 to 24:00. But it is not working at all. My son can use this account after 21:00. I’ve tried to reset the settings and set again everything, now there is no limit at all for this account… Why?

I would like to submit 2 suggestions for KSK: First: Could you improve the time limits & schedules settings? I would like to block the computer during the night, and allow kids to play no more than 2 hours during day time. There is no way to use such settings. Second: Could you add an command to immediately block the computer for a certain time without changing the whole schedule? For example, if I’d like to force the PC to shut down and block immediately the computer until next day, without changing the general time schedule. Thank you!

I set it up to block at all times, so all usage requires a request. 70% of the time, this works properly, however sometimes, like today, even though the block is in effect for the entire day (requiring a request), it allows them in without any need for a request. If I update the schedule at all, even on a different day, they will be immediately blocked and have to send a request, but this does not inspire any confidence at all, when it completely ignores the schedule. I should add, using Windows 10 Pro x64.

SafeKids on my son’s laptop generated an alert today for “New Application LocalBridge from the Other Category was found” I have never heard of this, and have not been able to find any trace of an app on the device of that name. A full virus scan has not found anything. As far as we know my son had not downloaded anything around the time this app was detected. Has anyone heard of LocalBridge please?

Hey there Do you know - is it possible to allow my kid to watch Netflix, BUT only for limited time? I don’t want to block their website completely, but want to regulate the time they spend watching it.

Hi. So far this is the second time this has happened in 3 months. All of my restrictions that I put in place on all of the devices all clear. This seems to happen on about the same time every month. I know it's not my child. Is there any reason this is happening? Thanks in advance.

KSK schedule block is doing just the opposite on my kids devices. It's blocking the devices during the unblocked period. I set the schedule from 0900 to 2300. During this period KSK is supposed to allow my kids to use the devices. Instead it's showing 'time for a break'! What a crap application. So frustrating. I've double checked DTG, Location and everything on my kids devices. Can anyone help?

My son has a windows 10 laptop. There are teacher videos he needs to watch emailed with links. Youtube.com is forbbiden, so the link is blocked and he asks for permission. I allow this url, but then I noticed that after the link is allowed and the video is launched, he can then click on any suggested video on the page and keep watching what ever comes up. But, when youtube is searched on Chrome its blocked. I have youtube.com as always blocked, or forbidden. The exceptions are the links that the teacher sent. He has is 17, uses Chrome. How can I only allow the specific videos so he won’t watch what comes up in his feed?
