  7. I got around to upgrading and that has resolved the SSL error with Citrix and also the opening secure sites in a secure browser setting. Thanks.
  8. @Francoisywp Welcome Does the VPN display any error messages?
  10. Advice and Solutions (Forum Knowledgebase) Disclaimer. Read before using materials. ATTENTION! All mechanisms described below will be applicable to all further released Cumulative Patches for Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2. On-Demand Scan exclusion mechanism has not been changed. The following mechanism of exclusions with installed Cumulative Patch for Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 is applicable to On Access Scanning only. 1. File Scanning Exclusion (an exclusion does not end with ‘/’) If the option "Include subfolders" is enabled for exclusions from file scan, the label "IGNORE fanotify" will be set for this file. In this case, processing of an object with the excluded file will not be intercepted by Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 at all. 2. Folder exclusion (an exclusion ends with "/") without the enabled option "Include subfolders" This exclusion will be processed by Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 after the excluded folder is intercepted and file operation resolved. 3. Folder exclusion (exclusion ends with "/") with the enabled option "Include subfolders" This type of exclusion can be split into two processing mechanisms: Excluded folder is not a mount point. This exclusion will be processed by Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 after the excluded folder is intercepted and file operation resolved. If one of the subfolders in the excluded folder is a mount point, this subfolder will be ignored and not scanned, without processing this exclusion by Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2. It means that this subfolder is excluded on the low level (fa-notify). Example: There is a directory “/path/to/folder” which is not a mount point. The folder “/path/to/folder” has the following subfolders: “notmountsubfolder”, which is not a mount point "mountsubfolder", which is a mount point The folder “/path/to/folder” is added to exclusions with the enabled option "Include subfolders". Exclusion of the two subfolders will be processed in the following way: Exclusion of subfolder “notmountsubfolder” will be processed by Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 after its interception and resolving. Exclusion of subfolder “mountsubfolder” will be processed without Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 interception and resolving this subfolder directory, i.e. on the low level (fa-notify) Excluded folder is a mount point. In this case this folder and all its subfolders (including the subfolders which might be mount points) will be excluded without Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 interception and resolving all subfolders, i.e. exclusions are set on the low level (fa-notify). Local installation: Copy the *.sh file on the Linux VM with Kaspersky Light Agent 5.2 installed. Grant execution access: chmod +x <path_to_file/*.sh file> Run the command /path_to_file/*.sh --install Remote Installation through Kaspersky Security Center: Create installation package based on the kud file. Create remote installation task and assign it to the Linux VMs with Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2 installed. The version of Kaspersky Linux Light Agent will be changed to the version specified in the name of the cumulative patch for Kaspersky Linux Light Agent 5.2.

  12. It looks good🙂 the max protection is that you type in a password input box via K‘s virtual keyboard in safe-money protected broswer. the password input box should be automaticly indentified by K and you will be suggested to use the virtual keyboard. a small lock icon will be displayed beside the input box.

  18. @jhonny7@Helman63@Saleh7819 @Randy Welcome It is normal for connection speeds to be reduced when using any VPN. There are numerous factors that influence the drop in speed: number of people connected to the server, location of the server, the geographic distance of the server in relation to where you are located and several other factors. Try connecting to the closest server in your region (the closer the location to you, the faster the browsing speed) Support links: Connection slow Why the data transfer speed is reduced when a secure connection is enabled
  19. @Ludens Versão dos produtos? Além disso, talvez o problema possa estar no jogo? De qualquer maneira, tente desinstalar a VPN e reinstale com a versão mais recente disponível. 20. Introduction: In today's rapidly advancing digital age, children are increasingly connected to the online world. While the internet provides a wealth of educational resources and entertainment, it also poses potential risks to our youngest generation. This article aims to shed light on the importance of safeguarding children online and offers practical cybersecurity measures to ensure their digital safety. Educate Parents and Guardians: The First Line of Defense Parents and guardians play a crucial role in a child's digital safety. It is essential to educate them about the potential risks their children may encounter online, including cyberbullying, inappropriate content, and online predators. Encourage open communication with children to foster a trusting relationship where they feel comfortable discussing their online experiences. Implement Parental Controls: Creating a Safe Digital Space Utilize parental control tools and software to regulate and monitor children's online activities. These controls can limit access to age-inappropriate content, set time restrictions, and track online interactions. Parental controls act as a virtual safety net, helping parents manage their child's digital environment without constant supervision. Teach Online Etiquette and Responsible Behavior Educate children about responsible online behavior and the importance of treating others with respect. Cyberbullying is a prevalent issue, and instilling good digital citizenship early on can help create a positive online community. Encourage kids to think before they post, share, or comment, promoting empathy and kindness in the digital space. Empower Kids with Digital Literacy: Knowledge is Key Teaching children about digital literacy is paramount to their online safety. Equip them with the skills to identify potential threats, understand privacy settings, and discern between reliable and unreliable sources. By fostering digital literacy, children become proactive participants in their online experience, capable of making informed decisions. Secure Devices and Networks: A Fortified Cyber Space Ensure that the devices children use are protected with robust security measures. Install reputable antivirus software, keep operating systems and applications up-to-date, and secure home Wi-Fi networks with strong passwords and encryption. Regularly check devices for any signs of malware or suspicious activity. Encourage Safe Online Gaming: Balancing Fun and Security Online gaming is a popular activity among children, but it also comes with potential risks. Encourage safe gaming practices, including the importance of not sharing personal information, using age-appropriate games, and reporting any inappropriate behavior. Parents should stay involved in their children's gaming activities and set reasonable time limits. Collaborate with Schools and Educators: A Unified Front Establish partnerships with schools and educators to create a united front in promoting online safety. Work together to integrate cybersecurity education into school curricula, conduct workshops for parents, and provide resources to teachers to address digital safety topics in the classroom. A collaborative effort ensures that children receive consistent messages about online safety both at home and at school. Conclusion: Saving kids online requires a multi-faceted approach involving parents, educators, and technology providers. By combining education, awareness, and technological solutions, we can create a safer digital environment for our children. Kaspersky is committed to supporting initiatives that prioritize the protection of young minds online, and together, we can build a secure and empowering digital future for the next generation.
  21. I am currently using Kaspersky Standard and have been experiencing difficulties getting Tribler to work correctly. In an effort to resolve this, I have taken the following actions: (1) I've registered Trusted Application. (2) Under Intrusion Prevention settings I've enabled the option: "Do not scan encrypted traffic." Despite these measures, Tribler still does not function correctly, and this remains the case even after restarting the application.
  22. this is a little different from what you think... This item allows you to change these device settings in your child groups. let's go in order... 1. The managed group is the main parent group, all others in relation to it will be children 2. By default, all policies are created for the Managed Devices group, and are also the parent of all other policies - WHICH YOU MUST CREATE in your child groups. on your slide, I will assume that you went to your child group and opened the POLICIES section .. you saw the policies there - BUT these are the policies of the Parent group, which is why you cannot edit it here... at the top you should see a “switch” to show or not parent policies applied to the group, select hide and you will see that it is empty, there are no child policies... if you need a separate policy for a group, open this section and click the create button... after going through all the steps of the wizard... you will have your own policy EXACTLY FOR THIS group... All of them can be viewed in the main console tree, the Policies section, and there is a column showing which group it belongs to. after that, opening the policy, you can disable inheritance here... after which you can configure the policy for this group as you need... without receiving settings from the parent... and make sure that forced application of settings is not enabled in the parental policy... this item will forcefully change all settings to parental ones PS https://support.kaspersky.com/KSC/14.2/en-US/3313.htm
  23. Hello @rot99, Welcome! *it always helps to tell the Community which e-mail service (you) use?* Yes & no, email accessed via a web browser - for example: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo - will not be filtered & or managed by Kaspersky's Mail Anti-Virus & OR Kaspersky's Mail Anti-Spam; however, Kaspersky Plus will provide overall protection - as will KSN, if you have that enabled. For web based mail accessed via a browser, make sure two-factor-authentication is enabled, build/configure/train the spam/phishing rules in the mail app, use a strong password & change it every 90days. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋
