I was using the update feature of the Kaspersky Cloud AV to update the software in my computer and found that inside the folder KasperskyLab/Temp/tempio, there exists several PSInject.ps1 scripts (https://github.com/EmpireProject/PSInject). May I know if this is intended and what is the use?

I’m trying to install Kaspersky Cloud on my parents’ PC remotely via Teamviewer but the program does not allow me to interact with it to sign in to the My Kaspersky account, which if I don’t the protection is not active. This is a severe limitation which if it cannot be bypassed will force me to go back to my previous Antivirus since this is still a Windows 7 PC I get that the self-defense mechanism should prevent actions over Teamviewer to disable protection, but surely not to ENABLE it?? This seems like lazy programming. If (Teamviewer = Active){Interaction = Denied}? So the program is preventing interaction at the cost of leaving protection completely off?? This seem…

Hi everyone. I am running an optimization benchmark and found 41,000 umoveable files in the directory: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\SafeBrowser\Common\S-1-5-21-2589024238-4125490589-4021443206-1005\FireFox\cache2\entries This is using over 1GB of space but seems to have significant performance implications.

Hello! I have a trouble to connect battle.net cdn. If i turn off defence, battle net also could not connect to cdn, but if i exit program my problem goes away. In program (ksc) logs are empty. During ksc working in logs in my router (routerOS) there are no any attempts to connecting battle net ip adresses. I try to add battle.net program to the permitted list in ksc, but it gaves no results. Thx.

I recently installed Kaspersky along with a friend of mine. We both have Windows 10 operating systems, fully up to date. We downloaded the latest version of Kaspersky Cloud, the Free version, to test out the program. Well, we’ve both run into the same issue. When Kaspersky launches with the system, nothing is click-able in the Cloud interface. It’s not frozen, it’s animations as you hover are all still there and fluid. But it doesn’t respond to us clicking on anything at all until we restart the application itself. We have two different computers, with two different builds. Both are lower mid-range gaming computers with parts under 5 years of age. It works fine after we f…

I don’t really remember where I downloaded from, I think it was from the official Kaspersky site, actually, I’m 90% sure it was, but I’m a bit paranoid about it. Is it just by Digital Signatures and whether they’re valid? I use the free version.

Often, when I start my Windows 10 Enterprise PC (using 64-bit OS, version 21H1), Kaspersky Security Cloud Free prompts me to allow or block network access for my MS Hyper-V switch network. I always need to confirm this (allow it). Sometimes, I need to use WiFi on my PC, and then same thing happens. I do not want or need this feature, I want it turned off. However, looking around it seems only the paid version of Kaspersky Security Cloud will show this in its Settings to disable, whereas the Free version does not show this anywhere. Please could someone point me to a tool or Registry settings to edit/add to disable this feature, so that Kaspersky Free leaves my new/old/wh…

I recently learned about RATs and I’ve been super paranoid about having one. I heard they’re mainly detected by signatures, but what if the signature is unrecognized or changes it? Does Heuristic Analysis pick it up? I’ve seen my PC behaving weird, but I’ve pushed the mouse stuff to being just a hardware failure. I’ve, recently, noticed some problems with my keyboard. Mainly, cameras switching while playing the game Rainbow Six: Siege or, today, some spaces, 0s and dots while typing in google docs (granted, it could’ve been me accidentally putting my hand on the keyboard). By the way, I use KSC Free.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) SP1 KSCF Version: Kaspersky Security Cloud Free 21.3.10.391 (f) Hi, the past couple weeks, I’ve noticed that database updates for KSCF tend to use so much hard drive activity that it practically locks everything up while it’s running the update. This never used to happen. I came to the forums to see if I could find a solution and thought I did with a thread that told me to uninstall any and all incompatbile software. This made the UI a lot more responsive and seemed to fix the update issue for a day or two. Then, it returned. The UI is still a lot more responsive since I removed the incompatible software but the update issue using heavy…

Hi! Since a few weeks ago, I have removed several devices from my network. I have delisted them from my Router, and then I’ve cleaned up the list on Kaspersky Security Cloud. The problem is, after the removal I receive a pop-up saying that a certain number of devices are now connected to the network, which is not true at all. All the removed devices keeps returning into the list periodically, which is quite annoying. I have also tried to told Kaspersky to forget all my networks, without success. What can I do?

Hello all, I’ve noticed that my Kaspersky does not load in after start-up even though it’s enabled in task manager. I often have to click on Kaspersky for it to establish a connection. Any reason as to why this might occur? Fixes would be appreciated.

Why can't I watch Kayo Sport when Kaspersky is on?

I really need to disable the protection, but KSC won’t let me! I go to the Pause protection, set “Pause until application restart” and click the “Pause protection” button to accept. A dialog asking for confirmation appears but closes right away. After this point, Kaspersky stops taking my clicks. I’m unable to click anything in the Pause protection window, or the main Kaspersky window. It still detects my keyboard input. So I tried using the keyboard on the Pause protection window, but absolutely nothing happens when I select the “Pause protection” button with Tab and hit Enter or Space. I’m on Windows 10 (10.0.18363.720).

After about 24 hours of running a Full Scan it’s stopped on 99% complete with 7,099,557 files scanned with less than a minute left to complete the scan. That file count hasn’t changed in several hours. Why won’t the scan complete? iSwift Technology and iChecker Technology are enabled. I have Windows 7 64-bit with SP1.

I've recently gotten into game modding, but problem is that I, sometimes, get the popup of "This folder is in use!" when trying to move a mod folder into the game directory. I have no idea what's causing it, as a second later I can click "Try again" and it'll work normally. This also doesn't happen on just new files, so I have no idea what's going on. I haven't installed any new programs for a while, I don't think, maybe just downloaded a mod or two or something a long the lines of that. I also have KSC Free constantly running and do daily full scans, so I'm doubtful it's malware, but my paranoia says that I should still ask. Are these ‘symptoms’ of malware, or is somethi…

Hello all, I saw that Kaspersky had discovered a Trojan (Trojware) approx. 2 hours ago. I didn’t notice the notification at the moment the virus was discovered. When I opened Kaspersky Security Cloud I clicked the "Details” button exactly the same as seen here: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/start/15436 and clicked the “Resolve” button. Threat was neutralised and that was it. Here comes my question: Did Kaspersky neutralise the threat (virus) before I “Resolved” it manually? Was my computer compromised for the 2 hours of my ignorance? I also couldn’t find the log of resolved virus, once I clicked “Resolve” that virus wasn’t logged anywhere in the Report window. I’…

I googled some stuff and it turns out one of the websites I visited, I think, attempted a driveby download. Kaspersky didn’t even let the page load fully and exited it, putting me into the “Prevented visiting website” page. I clicked on the address again in the history tab to check what the message was and it put me into the same webpage. I also threw the link through VirusTotal and each link got at least one detection. Here are the links in question: "https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjZhYjwkpXzAhWWyosKHZ3FAw0QFnoECAMQAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fweathergroup.com%2Fobsqsyzi%2F89aa50-youtu…
