Kaspersky Security Cloud

Kinda issue here while in installation process. Tried to install Kaspersky Security Cloud without knowing it got problem with Malwarebytes(i never know antivirus got any issue with it in the past). And in the process Kaspersky installer says it'll remove* the software(aka Malwarebytes). So i let it do it's job, choose to get rid of Malwarebytes via your installer. But just upon clicking "delete" it says "the software has been removed" or along the line, in a sec. But there I'm still seeing Malwarebytes. I just installed this software. First Kaspersky AV I ever installed in my PC. OS: Windows 10 Pro. So please pardon my ignorance. I read somewhere in the website that Kaspersky Security Cloud FREE (KSCF) includes Ransomware Protection (RP). Am I mistaken? Because I couldn’t find anywhere in the software the setting for it. From what I know from Windows Defender and another Security Suite, the respective AV would by default protect Documents folder and some others, and there’s usually a setting to add/remove folders from its protection as per User’s preference. Have read the suggestions online to delete cookies / cache once every two weeks. However, if cookies can be stolen and used to identify password, how would that be effective enough assuming attacks are in real-time? Will Security Cloud stop such theft or is the best practice to delete cookies / cache after each browser session? Trying to strike the right balance here so any insight would be helpful!

Acidentally i clicked a website with the red shield on it after a google search (didnt mean to click it) and promptly got 3 “access denied” notifications for a malicious link with the Reason: Cloud Protection all good until about 10 min later i get 7 (seven!) notifications from the same general URL (mostily .png and .svg acessets from the website) claiming “Previously opened dangerous link detected” with the Result: Not Processed I’ve ran several scans with several tools and all came back clean, and KSC did not quarentined any objects. My question is: what is the meaning of the “Not Processed” Result and should i be concerned about anything? best regards, JB

Welcome. After installation, the antivirus is still disabled as it has not been activated. Nowhere can I find out where to activate the freeware version of the program. I found this topic ( Link)and I have this exact issue except I’m not running any browser extensions. My audio doubles on many video websites, so when I pause or skip or whatever I do with the video audio just keeps going. For example https://streamable.com/699mvb and http://www.rdv.ba/live/ I found out if I go to encrypted connection settings and turn on do not scan they’ll stop double playing (tho I’m not sure if they stop forever because when I had this turned off for a while before I think it came back but not 100% sure). How to stop windows security virus protection notification on Windows 10 at start-up, 'Virus & threat protection.Turn on virus protection' (using Kaspersky Cloud)

Every time I access that website I get a couple of notifications on that. Is there any way to have KSC exclude that site from notifications? It’s really annoying.

Good evening, Recently i have purchased a subscription of Total Security for 5 devices thinking that it would benefit having it on my iPhones and iPad (on the description page it says that it’s working on macOS and iOS); Unfortunately Total Security its not covering iPhones or iPads so i ended up with only 1 device being covered from a total of 5. HW based protection can’t be used while Windows Sandbox & Core Isolation are enabled, but I have heard that Windows 10 provided an api for other software co-exist with Hyper-V (VMware already supports that), when will Kaspersky support that?
