Check the printer name. If it is a network printer make sure it is turned on and that the printer address is correct. I checked all that. Since this failed I tried to make a network connection from the laptop to the computer with the result hereafter. Please please please!!!!!! put Kaspersky Spam back onto the the Microsoft Outlook toolbar. The current setup makes it necessary to enter incorrectly marked emails in Outlook edit mode to remove the incorrect header spam identifier and then to enter Kaspersky setup to modify it to prevent future similar emails being incorrectly marked. I have to do this numerous times a day.

Hello. I have a quick question regarding the activation keys for KIS 2020. I upgraded the software a while ago and it still runs fine with the old 2019 license. So as my current license is running out, i am wondering when buying a new one, can I use another 2019 license and extend it like that or do I have to buy the 2020 version now?

According to Kaspersky: “If your network has a common network name (for example, Home), malefactors will be able to easily and quickly crack your network password by using special hacking programs. To increase your home wireless network’s security, create a unique name for you [sic] network.” Can anyone suggest how that might work? Note that Kaspersky does not in this case advise hiding the SSID, so whatever name is chosen is seen by anyone who cares to look.

idle scan is off scheduled scans are off yet i still regularly get 100% disk use at very low read speed (weird) for no apparent reason - which causes a worrying clicking almost no other disk activity does - and when KIS does it, it is VERY loud !@# :( i’ve tried reinstalling KIS already

Since updating to KIS 2020, each time the computer starts up it opens a web page with Release Notes. One of the things I like with Firefox as my default browser is that it opens automatically where I left off when I shut down the computer, but KIS is now interrupting this, with each time a new instance of the Release Notes page. I cannot find anything in the settings etc. to get rid of this behaviour.

Mac OS catalina, KIS 20.0.0.829. I have 1, 336,000 files (according to Disk Utility.app). This is the same number seen by SuperDuper backup app. When I run full scan, looking at “details”, the scan hangs at 2, 948,000 files (finding no threats) and telling me it has 5 hrs to go. This makes no sense to me. Does it make sense to anyone else?

I’m having a weird problem where Kaspersky appears to be blocking my login attempts to websites like barnesandnoble.com It only happens when the website has an in-tab “pop-up” window. I’ve tried everything, including disabling anti-banner and the Kaspersky browser extension, but the only thing that seems to work is to completely shut down Kaspersky by pausing protection. Hi. I am using Kaspersky Antivirus from many years and before almost year switched to Kaspersky Internet security to my main PC. But that will be the last time I pay to Kaspersky and here is why. I upgraded my CPU and it has problems with Windows 8.1, caused by windows updates - reddish colours… so I made a clean install and blocked updates. This week I couldn’t upload big files on Google Drive with Firefox. With Chrome all went well. Even after deleting the cache and disabling all extensions, it didn’t work. Though I didn’t think Kasperky would be the cause, I disabled Kaspersky and the upload succeeded! I found out that I had to disable Network -> Scan secured traffic Firefox and Thunderbird. So, my problem has been solved, but I mention it in case other members encounter the same problem.

After I installed Kaspersky Internet Security on my Win10 my WIFI connection frequently disconnects. Actually I hear sound like when I unplug my WIFI dongle from usb slot, and then after few seconds I hear that sound again. How can I fix that? It’s really annoying.
