It blocks file sharing. I have to set packet rules to Allow both on Local Services (UDP) and Local Services (TCP).

I have been using Outlook and accessing my Gmail account for a couple of years. Today, Outlook said that it disabled Kaspersky because it was taking too much time. Now Outlook cannot retrieve my Gmail emails. I deleted my gmail account in Outlook and re-entered it. Still did not work. HELP!

Hello, I have problem with kaspersky and EAC (Easy anticheat). I reinstalled windows and kaspersky but nothing fixed this problem. This happens with most of games that use EAC. I also stopped kaspersky to scan EAC and game when launching etc.... Windows build is 1903 with last update 11 June 2019.

Is there any way to switch Kaspersky free after the license expiration of KIS without uninstalling the program

Hello! My wife wants to do online paying and KIS (v20.0.14.1085) blocked the site. The KIS report says > Dangerous URL blocked;//mpi.borgun.is/mdpaympi/MerchantServer/msgid/6831020; Heuristic Analysis; Opera Internet Browser I put the //mpi.borgun.is/* in Settings > Protection > Web Anti-Virus > Exclusions and allowed URL’s but the KIS still blocked the site and she can’t make a pay. I check the URL on the https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com/ and it says the URL is safe according to the reputation data of Kaspersky VirusDesk. WTF!? If it is safe, why my KIS blocked the payment? What can I do except the shuting down the KIS?

Hello there, My copy of Kaspersky was broken by upgrading OSX to Catalina. I understand that the only way to fix this is to reinstall, however the log-in for the main Kaspersky website is controlled by a 3rd party called 2CO and it won’t let me log-in or create a new account -- has anyone else experienced this? Would anyone know how I can get around this? I’ve been a customer for several years and not being able to access my own product's site is a giant pain. Thanks.

Always uses 15-20% CPU when firstly launching chrome, and browsing feels very slow overally. I even disabled web protection and kaspersky firewall and enabled postpone computer scan tasks when high cpu load. just activated my trial as I want to switch from bitdefender but this is annoying.

When a full scan run like the name implies it runs a scan against everything. For macOS mounted drives can be found in the /Volume directory where things such as your own SSD / HDD can be found but also USB drives and mounted drives. The other thing that can be found is your Time Capsule NAS and local snap shots. As I too try to find some reasoning as to why my Full Scans seem to get stuck on arbitrary files I stumbled upon the realization that when I kick off a Full Scan my NAS drive IO spikes as Kaspersky tries to perform a full scan on all of my backups. I am a long-time, satisfied user of Kaspersky software. Currently, I have the most recent version of KIS, which is installed on Windows 10 v.1903. KIS is version is 19.0.0.1008(i). A few days ago, seemingly ‘out of the blue’ my Ethernet controller lost its ability to obtain an IP address from DHCP. Prior to this, my Ethernet controller was working flawlessly. After updating Mozilla Thunderbird to 68.2.0 through KIS (20.0.14.1085e), google chrome stopped responding and CCleaner 5.63.7540 as well. CCleaner works when starting the computer “before” opening “any” browser. After installing the Thunderbird update I had to reboot to make it work which gave the above not responding incident. I recently opened an email with my cousin's name, only to find the sender was: roach@azclan.net. I did not click on the link in the email. However, shortly after, my desktop started switching into tablet mode. As you can see from Exhibit I, there is a black window in the bottom right corner which I assume shows roach@azclan.net somehow accessed my computer just from me opening the email. My desktop would switch to tablet mode, and I would see the black window. When I clicked on it, one of the other windows would fill the desktop. I can't download any files on my new computer via Google Chrome to a network drive. Each time I try, I get "Virus Scan Failed". Only Chrome is affected, and only network drives. If I turn off File Anti-Virus in Kaspersky, I can download no problem. I have the scope set in File Anti-Virus to not check network drives, but it seems it's doing this anyway. Anyone have any idea where to look from here? I used the same program on my old computer, downloaded to the same location, and it always worked, I never had to make changes to it.

Hello! I noticed that my KIS got a version update on last couple of days from 20.0.14.1085(b) to 20.0.14.1085(c) and I believe that this update brought the Kaspersky Password Manager into KIS, as a new recommendation appeared in my application asking me to install the Password Manager. My question is simple: how can I ignore the Password Manager recommendation, just like I did with "Kaspersky Secure Connection" and "Kaspersky Safe Kids"? I don't want to use the Password Manager and I also don't want this notification trying to make me install the product. I just want to keep my recommendations clear for relevant security notifications.

Hi all Recently upgraded to KIS 2020 and have noticed that auto update “After application startup” no longer works. KIS 2019 seemed to update after about 15 minutes but KIS 2020 does not. Thanks Ian

Since I have installed my prolongation of Kaspersky Internet Security I had problems downloading PDF's. When I try to download a PDF-file (attachment of an email) I constantly get the message "Failed-virusscan did not succeed" . Do I have to change the settings in Kaspersky of is it a problem in Google Chroome?
