hi, recently bought KS VPN subscription, sometimes my laptop got notification about, ( Tracking is enabled ), Processor resources of VPN 12 to 18%.. battery draining fast.. what does this mean Tracking is enabled, is this necessary , or can i disable this, how..? and how to reduce battery usage..? and, App doesn't start on startup.. ? thank you...

Вопрос, действительно ли нет такого компонента "Защита мобильных устройств" на базе Linux? И в какой версии будет доступно?

So I guess I need to wait until it happens again? I will also check the steps as mentioned in the link about databases issues. PS .. just some remark; I had Gaming mode enabled but was NOT gaming at the moment I got this message about database. I now disabled it. Does this mean that Gaming detection is just not working?

I'm really fat-up with Protected Browser as it takes ages (more than 15 seconds) to access the page. Before you ask; yes, I contacted support as well and they want all kind of things I do not have time for. I guess the mean reason is the VPN connection they make to make it safe(?), which just takes to long. But in Internet Security I had no problems, it did not take so much time to get the Protected Browser and its content. In both cases I use the latest FireFox version if you wonder.... I also read the forum and as Plus is new for me (had Internet Security before), I find it hard to get to the right settings (you need to use search all the time). But I did find "Do not run Protected Browser" under Safe Money settings which I enabled. But can I leave Safe Money enabled, or do I need to disable this as well? I just want the delay to the Protected Browser gone etc. Any advise is welcome. PS .. am I the only person with this issue? I did read more people notice this that the "Protected Browser" takes long time to start... Thanks, Matthijs

I'm using Kaspersky Premium 21.13.5.506(a) on Microsoft Windows 10 Professional x64 Build 19044. Sometimes I visit websites which want to know my location and I want to allow that specific website to know my location for a better user experience and I am willing to trust that specific website with my location to do so. Google Chrome (currently at version 114.0.5735.199 (Official Build) (64-bit)) as my web browser. Yes, I know I can use "Split Tunneling" and different browser to do connect to such websites, but I'm wondering whether there is a more nuanced, specific solution that won't allow me to use a second browser to do this. Yes, I do have Kaspersky Protection 2.5.32.0 enabled in Google Chrome and the Location Permission is set to "Ask (default)", but it seems that this isn't coordinated with Kaspersky VPN as the websites which I allow here are not getting the correct location. (There should really be three options here: "Yes", "No", and "Lie for me".) Is there anything I can do to enable specific websites to know my location while continuing to use the same web browser and keeping VPN enabled?

На компьютере по выделенке не работает ни один VPN адрес Kaspersky Secure Connection. На телефоне через мобильную сеть все работает. Что то сломалось?

Hi, I used the latest download version of Kaspersky Standard and I am not using a browser, just trying to activate Secure payment out of Kaspersky. I do however use Firefox (latest update) and Vivaldi (again latest update) and it has worked fine with both for rhe last month. As I said it has worked fine till today and there has been no change in my system.

Hi, Suddenly my Firefox is giving a Secure Connection Failed error. Upon some googling from Chrome, I found that some settings/certificate issues in Kaspersky may cause this. So, I tried exiting Kaspersky Internet Security and Firefox works as usual. I am using: Windows 11 Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.2070) Firefox 116.0.1 Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (K) How can I fix the issue? Thanks

After subscribing since 2018, and for the last couple of years just sucking up the auto-renewal, I was determined this year to put it to an end, and I have finally succeeded! I hope this information helps anyone else who is struggling to get rid of this payment. Please note this may only work if your payment is collected by Digital River... check your bank for last year's payment and if it is marked 'DR' or 'DRI' in the payment reference, this should hopefully work for you. When you get the renewal email reminder which provides an order number and password, click on the link for amending your payment details. You'll be taken to a page with your billing address and payment info. Underneath the 'reset' and 'Submit' buttons, there's a link for 'Back to main help page' - click it. This will take you to a FAQ page - select the cancel auto renewal heading. Now you'll be taken to another page where you need to re-input the Order Number and the Password from the email they sent. Once in there, click the cancel button (not manage subscriptions) and this will allow you to cancel the auto renewal. Seriously, the most ridiculous process ever, but it worked for me (after 2 years of unwanted renewals!). I've added screen shots to this in the hope I can help others who are struggling, and like me have ended up just letting the money go out each year. Good luck all.

Hi Derek. Not sure if you already found a response or not. I've just managed to finally work this out after trying to cancel last year, and also finding the info provided did not work. When you get the renewal email, with order number & password, click the link provided to 'change payment information'. This will take you to a page with your billing address and card details etc. Towards the bottom there's a link for 'back to main help page', click that and you'll be taken to a FAQ type page...select the cancel auto renewal option and you'll be taken to another page, where you need to input the order number and password from the email they sent. Once in there, click the cancel button (not manage subscriptions) and this will remove the auto renewal. Not easy at all, but so glad I finally found out how to do it. Good luck

I was explained that starting from version 21.16, the screenshot feature is now programmed into the software. However, the developers forgot to add the option for the user to choose in the program, meaning the user must decide whether to allow or disallow taking screenshots systemically in the secure browser. On one hand, this assists developers and debuggers, but on the other hand, it compromises the security of the program. In other words, anyone can take a screenshot of the screen, even physically, while you are not looking or stepped away. The company itself has thus reduced the security of the program. Sending a message through the green form at the bottom right sends the message directly to the developers without any identifier, hence there is no reaction via email. To test the secure browser's functionality, you can download a third-party screen capture program. Open the secure browser, and if after taking a screenshot you see the content of the secure browser's screen, the program is not functioning correctly. I'll reiterate, a company that does not support multilingualism (in its software, in support) a priori cannot operate in Europe. Seems like it's not the Middle Ages. Finally, now there should be no language problems at all, especially with the emergence of AI, it's not just Google Translate.

Kaspersky for Mac, Hardware and software requirements - which includes the VPN covers macOS Sonoma, however, the Kill switch information is in Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection, Protect your data if your secure connection is lost documentation, where Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection, Hardware and software requirements, do not include macOS Sonoma - it may well be the Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection documentation has not been updated? Just as FYI - by default, the Kill Switch is turned off and Kaspersky VPN does not block your internet access if the VPN connection is interrupted. Why are you reading Kaspersky Internet Security / Security Cloud documentation? Uninstall the VPN, follow: Uninstall application, & re-install the Premium software including the VPN follow: Install application - if that does not resolve the issue(s), raise a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, on the support page - https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - select either Email or Chat, then fill in the template as shown in the following image (even tho the VPN is included in the Premium package, if Premium is selected for the template - the VPN is not defined & support may not *get the information as quickly as required*); Support may request Logs, Traces & other data, they will guide you: Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available? Those are 2 different products, but I'm confused, does the secure connection VPN can do something that the VPN included in Kaspersky Plus can't do?

Welcome to Kaspersky Community. Personally, I don't have MAC nor iPhone device, so I probably can't help You much here, do You get any warning in your Kaspersky product? Check if NetWork Monitor settings, if monitoring it is enabled... Can You post some screenshots of the status of Your Network Monitor status?

Sounds really secure. Has anyone using KTS still ever been hacked? This "no config" antivirus really does sound impressive. I use it btw.

I did a test with KTS on a VM where it wasn't in Enhanced Session mode so no ctrl C - CTRL V worked to secure myself. I downloaded this exe <removed> , ran it via VirusTotal, nothing found, OK. I ran it on the VM, and I looked in the App Firewall, it was put in the Trusted category. Why? It's not the official program, and according to VirusTotal, it doesn't have a valid certificate. Apparently Trusted category is applied if either it has a valid digital certificate OR it's found in the Kaspersky database.... how can a non-official patched program be in the Kaspersky database as safe? Am I misunderstanding soemthing?

I always try to not use KavRemover, it usually breaks USB keyboard and mouse drivers, so it would even add a new issue to the current one...

Вопрос возник из-за пункта настроек "Список доверенных сетей и узлов сети, которым разрешено пересылать сообщения электронной почты через Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway (mynetworks)" - если указать только внутренние адреса, то прием почты с внешних источников не работает, ошибка "554 5.7.1 Relay access denied" У кого-нибудь уже был опыт?
