Hello, I'm using Kapsersky Internet Security 2019 with patch e Recently I set up new VPN using L2TP/PPTP protocols. when I connect to VPN it works properly on Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and many other Desktop apps. but when it comes to Windows Store apps, like Microsoft Edge and Cortana, OneNote, They refused to connect to network (both local(intranet) and internet) even Windows Store doesn't seem to have an access to network. Now I have firewalls disabled and using Windows default firewall to use VPN flawlessly. And...there's an exception: VPNs using additional adapters/drivers like OpenVPN and Kaspersky Secure Connection, are not affected. Do you have any similar issues on this? I have tried other than disabling firewall on KIS, unchecking 'Use default gateway on remote network' : looks like it seems connects but the traffics don't pass thru VPN. set LoopbackExemption on store apps : didn't work uncheck 'Automatic metric' : didn't work Hyper-V: my system uses Home edition of Windows 10 so this is not possible to try without pay for Pro edition. Using Windows 10 1903 x64 with May updates
  4. Restart the computer more often, instead of less often. Don't download junk. Keep operating system and all software up to date. Uninstall junk and stuff that you don't want. Don't click on teaser junk and teaser links. Use strong passwords. Don't share your computer with other people. If you use a computer for financial business, don't let anyone else touch the computer, and don't use that computer for any risky stuff.   6. Hello JCT, As well as the info from Richbuff, when KTS update is active/running, is Kaspersky Secure Connection ALSO active? If yes, please try the update WITHOUT KSC. Please let us know? Thanks.
  7. Hello Silver_Mica, KSC = Kaspersky Secure Connection. The service that is that is presenting the banner you are concerned about. If you use KSC, please sign into your MyKaspersky account & then see if the "banners" still appear.... monitor for 24/48 hours... If you don't use KSC, uninstall it (as per previous advice from Richbuff). Thanks!

  9. Hi David, Total Security brings its own vpn client. Please uninstall 'Kaspersky Secure Connection' first. This does not affect the protection provided by KTS. Can the connection now be established?
  10. What is primary feature difference between free and paid users? What is the type of encryption used to secure the user data? Can the user data and activities be leaked or handed to intelligence agencies on their will or it will require any subpoena or it is not accessible to anyone(no log policy)? Is there provision to store the user data in local file for non premium users for backup? Is my credit card, email, phone number under monitoring and generate logs for same? There is a mention of data sharing with third party, is there any non disclosure signed to stop them from misusing our private info? These are some queries here because I am unable to access the customer support from my account. If any developers present here, it'll be helpful if they answer above questions.

  14. Why are we facing this mickey mouse BS ? How Come Big Player like Kasperky and Mozilla don't talk as they are 2 linked to the net entities ? Why ? And then. Also... providing a FIX should be mandatory... and Ideally ... Kaspersky should anticipate with mozilla team in order to prevent such a disaster... after all we pay them to secure us... and now... we feel like...dumped as many codes are dumped into some Cher Nobile
  15. Today I noticed that the Kaspersky protection add-on was disabled in FireFox. As I could not get it to work again I did a re-install of Kaspersky total security. That produced some problems with scanning secure traffic, but I managed to get that working again. The Kaspersky protection add-on is still disabled. Firefox put it in the "Unsupported" section. I have the latest version of the add-on: 20.0.543.1053,d I also have the latest FireFox: 66.0.3 What can I do to get the Kaspersky protection add-on working (again) in FireFox?

  17. Would be great to add support for Comodo Dragon browser (same source code like google chrome - chromium) but without support from kaspersky. Dragon browser is more secure browser but not supported by kaspersky :( Kaspersky don't think seriously with protection.

Siempre tratando de mejorar mi protección estoy viendo este programa pero no tengo claro que lleva consigo, por ejemplo intenté hacer la prueba gratuita en mi Android pero para instalar me pide que desinstale el Secure Connection (VPN) que tengo instalado. Tengo tanto en PC como en Android el KIS y el S.C., vale la pena este nuevo producto? Gracias desde ya
  19. Я хотел бы еще попробовать и приватные мессенджеры Tor Messenger, Signal Private Messenger и Wire Secure Messenger. С ними как дела обстоят? Антивирус будет проверять входящие и исходящие сообщения в этих мессенджерах или нет?

  21. Thanks for the reply. This seems to have been the issue, sort of. I couldn't find anything in the scan section regarding secure/encrypted connections until I stumbled through the settings in there and found this page: This can be found in Settings / Additional / Network settings. It was set to always scan. Moving it to Scan encrypted connections upon request let the launcher fire right up, no exclusions necessary (or really even possible unless you know the URL that the launcher tries to communicate through). As for my version, I have KTS 19.0.0.1088(e). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Ggracias Harlan, pruebo y comento Hola Harlan, respecto a la primera opción, no hay ninguna carpeta SafeBrowser ni nada parecido, solo veo una carpeta KIS y otra Secure Connection, dentro de ellas nada que indique Safebrowser; por lo tanto hice una restauración del KIS tal cual lo indicaste y en Safe Money sólo aparece opción de IE, Chrome o Predeterminado. Pongo predeterminado y sigue apareciendo el IE y si pongo el Chrome aparece este último. Me doy por vencido

Hopefully there's SWTOR Gamers in this Community who'll be able to solve this for you...? Thanks.
