  1. after 2 months, Adobe CC has been updated(5.0.0.354), Windows Updated(18363.476), Kaspersky 2020 also has been updated(patch e). Sandboxie has been updated(5.31.6). Maybe someone think “so now, Adobe CC doesn’t sign out, right?” Yeah for most time. but sign out still happens, but less frequent. Now, dism, sfc, Windows Update cleanup no longer triggers Adobe CC to sign out when checking updates for Adobe CC products. But somewhat after 30~60 minutes after boot, CreativeCloud icon gets grays out. And also Creative Cloud fails to sync Libraries and error message shown up. I have GSI ready for symptoms about no.2 however not certain about it contains info needed. Did the “sign out - sign in - quit - sign out” triple on Getting system Information step and Executing AVZ step.
  2. I retried to replicate issue with GSI scan running as your instructions however, it is getting harder to be replicated as dism/sfc has nothing to modify for my system. I think I have to wait for new Windows monthly or cumulative updates again. I'll post updates if I be able to replicate issues. Thanks for your cooperations. Have a nice evening
  3. FLOOD Hi, Here's GSI report. you requested. Cleared KIS reports launch Adobe CC Desktop App sign in there after a while, click 'check for app updates' and it gets signed out. launched GSI then started scan my computer including Windows event logs here it is. check PM Do I need to export reports you mentioned however isn't it included in GSI? I don't know how to do that.
  4. (A) Wanted to try dism then sfc but after reboot doing the first, dism, triggered this again. dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth but trying to replicate this issue CC retains login. needed more time to replicate this. maybe dism or sfc needs modify something to trigger CC sign out. (B) I also hope that Kaspersky Support do as you said in my region. (C) okay I'll clear KIS report to lessen your analyzing time, then try to relogin Adobe CC and trigger the problem via clicking 'check for app update' on Adobe CC desktop App. I need time to do this.
  5. How can I open a ticket and send GSI & logs to global Kaspersky staffs? not to staffs in my region where 2020 is not released?
  6. more on this: it seems dism (compacting system image using /resetbase, repair system image using /restorehealth) or sfc (for repair system files using /scannow) also triggers this. signing in Adobe CC while Kaspersky is off then turn that on still retains login information) As your documentation, instructs send GSI and other logs to My Kaspersky. but I don't want to do this as in my region Kaspersky 2020 is not released so I'll receive something like please use Kaspersky 2019 localized version, etc... and it's no good for me. also, posting GSI and logs containing sensitive information of me or my system to here(public) exposes some danger now or soon so I want this to be replicated in VM as using isolated environment will leak less senstive information.
  7. Hi, I'm using Windows 10 Home 1903 x64 on my Intel CPU computer. Kaspersky Internet Security 2020 20.0.14.1085(c) Recently, I've found something wrong after Windows Update, Adobe Creative Cloud keeps signing out when clicking check for app updates OR every few minutes. checked below nothing worked: https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/troubleshoot-creative-cloud-sign-out-sign-in.html turning scanning encrypted traffic off, didn't help. so I tried setting my Kaspersky not to start with boot, then reboot, after then sign in Adobe CC again. After doing that, It retains sign-in status even after setting Kaspersky starts with boot then subsequent reboot. It seems Kaspersky prevents WMI(Windows Management Instrumentation) service OR Credentials Storage service from creating? updating? something while restart process after Windows updates. Some part of logs from Adobe Log Collector reads like: Failed in getting value for key in OPMGetValueForKey Failed in getting value for key in OPMGetValueForKey domain:OOBE subDomain:ProxyCredentials key:ProxyUsername Failed to get Proxy username in OPM DB You can get Logs from Adobe CC, try this: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html You can see the upload process will not be available even it has signed in, when this symptom occurs. I tried to replicate on clean Virtual Machine with KIS 2020, Adobe CC installed on Win10 Pro 1903, but could not replicate to same symptoms even installing every monthly Cumulative updates. some of the difference is real machine has MS account signed in on Windows, the Windows is Pro and is not activated on VM, the Kaspersky activated with Trial Key on VM. I will post Logs when I can replicate from VM.
  8. Sorry for no updates almost 10 days, I was busy then. At first, I thought fresh install will also be no good so prepared fresh install of 1903 on Virtual Machine. Fortunately the trials on VM, installing Kaspersky with new installer from global Kaspersky homepage, worked well even July 26 update installed. So I tried that installer on real system. Forgot export setting before clicking 'remove' to old KIS 2020 installation so I had set those again on new KIS 2020 installation. Before this I used KIS 20.0.14.1085 a en installer from FTP, as community refers, about 1~2 months ago. Dunno why same version (both numeric and patch status) worked differently. but KIS from homepage works. Thanks. It is solved via reinstalling using installer from homepage, not FTP.
  9. FLOOD Can I export rules or something...? I have upgraded 2019 -> 2020, not remove and reinstall, due to too much rules I have to set. Making things worse, applications are available for applying rules, but only after launch it once. I have frequent sign-out issue on Adobe apps so learned excluding each app again is not gonna well.
  10. It is right that "deny" rules do block, however, I have allowed some apps to access some resources right under that category. and July 26 update for Windows 10 1903 broke how "allow" rules apply.
  11. In addition to post above this, Hi, I'm just a person using Kaspersky Internet Security, I wonder if you installed July 26 Cumulative Update for WIndows 10 1903. You can confirm it by launching winver on Run (Press Windows Key with R simultaneously then type winver on new window then press Enter key) then check if the build number is 18362.267. currently I have uninstalled the update, winver shows build number as 18362.239. If your computer installed that update, Would you uninstall that update and see how protected browser runs? I noticed another unrelated issue, I posted in my own topic thread about it.
  12. Sorry, I have uninstalled July 26 Update to check if this is due to KIS definition update. but Uninstalling that update made "allow" rules work normal. also, setting exclusions to so much exes are exhausting to me. Settings exclusions for each/every.exe is not standard. Okay. To prevent doing this, I have uninstalled July 26 update and I've set never install that update on my Computer using a troubleshooter. When you were using KIS 19.0x, did you also set the same exclusions? No, I've NEVER SET exclusion of not to inherit some exes of parent process before today. Have you uninstalled & reinstalled KIS? No, it's same and current installation. If "yes", what procedure did you follow? (Sorry, I said no.) Do you backups, pre 1903 restore point and sysimage? I did uninstalled that July 26 Update, which IS cumulative update NOT feature update. After uninstalled July 26 update from my computer, it still runs 1903. Is KIS2020 the commercial release? Licensed or free? I'm using purchased version of KIS and has patch b. Can you please also provide: GSI include "Windows logs - https://support.kaspersky.com/common/diagnostics/3632#block7, Please upload the GSI zip folder to a cloud storage of your choice and post back the link please? Sorry I uninstalled July 26 update rather than excluding each exes on KIS. However, I have set deny rule with logging, there's whole lot logs about access has been blocked......on apps that I allowed. It has been in white-list. Thanks
  13. Hi, I'm using KIS 2020's Application Control to restrict file access only allowed to necessary applications. However, after installing July 26 Windows 10 1903 update, "Allow" rules doesn't apply to necessary apps. I set Kaspersky to restrict other apps via: create a category which has a rule that blocks every app except Microsoft (If Microsoft apps are not allowed, allowed apps on that category are not getting allowed to access specific resource) create Files and Folders rule on category I created on step 1, set file path to only allow apps I need to use and inherit deny rules so others shouldn't have access that path. click Save but July 26 Windows 10 1903 update messed up with this, "Allow" rules on this category are not applied, even if I allowed every app with Microsoft signature, which worked for necessary apps and protected access from others well previously. for example, I restricted Chrome User Data folder only allows Microsoft and Google, so other apps shouldn't has access to it, preventing other apps stealing login credentials, web history, cookies, etc. However, with that update, even Chrome cannot get access to Chrome User Data then silently crashes. The only way workaround is marking a check from exclusions rules, which makes Kaspersky not to inherit restrictions from parent, on every apps on that vendor(bulk applying exclusions rules are nowhere on KIS 2020). How can I get "allow" rules works without setting exclusions to each exe?
  14. Oops, It seems to be a temporary issue. I connected to that VPN and tried again to grab screenshot, log, GSI but gladly Now they connects to both internet and intranet(local) fine. it works even after sleep mode, change Wi-Fi access points. I'll post those if problem rises again. Thank you.
