Kaspersky Password Manager

Just a thought/idea on how to make KPM a little more user friendly and easier to use. Giving the ability for users add/choose icons and or colours for folders. This would allow very quick reference just by looking rather than reading the folder name. Having the folders display in all the individual categories like: “websites, bank cards, ect” rather then only show in the “all entries” Tile view: On a 15.6” laptop screen, you are only able to fit “two rows for a maximum of 10 tiles”, please make the “size of the folder icons smaller” so a user is able to see a whole lot more. I was using KTS20, and the password manager (PM) wouldn’t open. Today, I uninstalled KTS20, rebooted and installed KTS21 along with PM. The PM now opens in Windows 10 Home Admin Account and works perfectly (as far as I can tell). However, it still won’t open in Windows 10 Standard Account. So, before getting into all the GSI stuff, is there something I’m not doing or need to be doing to get it to open in the std account? Thanks

Does the password vault gets stored some where in the cloud, or do I have to make a backup of the vault until I eventually renew my license

When I open an entry how do I see all the info such as my password for that site?

Hi, i switched from Lastpass to KPM, and on some sites the KPM isn’t working, I’m using Edge browser. Are there any problems with Edge and KPM? Any info would be nice. Thnx. regards Andrej

windows 10 pro 64 bit 2004 comp. 19041.388 KPM 9.0.2.5376 (k) / 1593510272_6509 / 1.0.363.0-0.8.3.0_1 (Firefox extension installed) Firefox 79.0 64 bit (Lockwise disabled, AdBlock Plus, KPM and KP enabled) My KPM suddenly stopped autofilling login and password for some sites and for other fills only password or only login. After deleting the entry in KPM for this problematic pages KPM does not prompt for saving the login and password.

I downloaded a free trial version of Kaspersky Total Security and a Password Manager together with it. When I want to add an entry for some program, only Skype and Steam are shown. That’s ok, but I can’t add more programs by clicking the button “Обзор” on the right side, see the screenshot (I have a Russian version, I guess it will be something like “Browse” in English). When I click it nothing happens. Same thing with adding PDF files to encrypt them. Is this because of a trial version? What could be the reason? Thanks for the help.

Hi, I just installed Password Manager 9.0.2.5376 on my new Windows 10 laptop, but autosave and autofill are not working. (They worked perfectly on my old laptop.) On the General tab of the UI, under Autosave and autofill, Logins and passwords is selected. The Password Manager extension is correctly installed and enabled in all my browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer and Edge). I cannot get autosave and autofill to work, and I cannot find a solution online. Please help!

Hello, So I’m trying to figure something out and I can’t seem to get it figured out. So I’ll explain what I’m trying to do. The Master Password manager has a great auto fill feature. I like this, makes things simple and easy. What I’m trying to do is, I log into a specific site (charge card company), I use Password Manager to put in my one account, it goes to another page and ask for security question and then i select the option of this is a ‘private device - Y/N’. I select ‘yes’. Then I go to the final page and put in my password and log into the account. Because I selected ‘yes’ for private device, I can now continue using username/password as Password Manager auto…

I never typed in multiple incorrect master passwords to see how Password Manager handles them. I’m wondering how Kaspersky Password Manager handles brute force attacks at guessing the master password. Does anyone know ?

Atualmente, o Kaspersky Password Manager (KPM) insere as credenciais salvas, nos campos de login dos sites correspondentes, automaticamente. Eu não encontrei uma opção para que isso não ocorra. O cenário ideal seria ele apenas indicar, através do ícone em verde do KPM, no campo de login, que existem dados de login para aquele site. Daí, se realmente for um campo de login, o usuário clica e escolhe a credencial a preencher. Exatamente como ocorre quando há duas ou mais contas para o mesmo site. Há uma opção para isso? Está planejado a implantação desse comportamento?

I recently had one computer fixed and purchased another. The tech installed Google Brave as the browser on both. It appears that neither the Safe Money nor the Password Manager work with this new browser. In order for them to function they open Google Chrome. Has anyone in the community had this experience? Does anyone know if Kaspersky is working on making these features functional on Brave?

Hi there, I purchased Kaspersky total security and have connected the codes to my account. However I could not activate the premium version of Secure Connection and Kaspersky Password Manager.

Now each time i want to unlock my vault i need to input my main password. Is it possible to add the support of Windows Hello or fingerprint for unlocking the vault?

I have noticed that KPM considers these as the same URL [Website Address] : www.domain.com:2083 and www.domain.com:2096 So if I have one the [Website Address] error/conflict checking code it won’t let me add the other as a different entry. It also doesn’t seem to distinguish between any deeper URL paths so www.domain.com/wp-login is also automatically linked to the a single domain entry. This is rather annoying as most hosting companies use just the port reference to determine the different logins for cPanel and WebMail…..ironically all the built-in browser password managers handle this easily. If I’m missing something obvious please feel free to illuminate me…

Someone could explain to me why a company like Kaspersky that work for the security online dont have a two-factor authentication in the Password Manager. I have tried different password managers and they all have this option inside for 100% protection. Maybe I missed something. How I can be sure that nobody entry in my password manager without two-factor Authentication!

It would have been better if they've given option of adding new profile on the webpage or any app while logging in for the first time like in dashlane or 1password. Also should be able to customise templates by adding pics or documents to any passwords/ bank accounts, etc.

Upgraded password manager on 2 macs on 4/24/20. Both reverted to unpaid versions and would not connect to my account.
