Hello, Every time I have hangout meeting, 5 min into it my mic and audio stops working, and I get attached message. I tested everything, changed mic/audio settings, restarted computer, restarted chrome, reinstalled chrome- nothing works. It's been going on for weeks now. Please help fix it. Thanks.

Hello. Could some of you please try to reproduce the following freeze bug. When you switch the “Trusted Addresses” entries on/off often enough the KIS UI freezes at full CPU load on one core. Hello Everyone, while watching a twitch stream and having the discord page open (i did nothing at the time, did not click any link etc.), i received a message that Kaspersky blocked a suspicious download of “Trojan.BAT.Shutdown.u”. Since i dont use any chrome extensions other than the Kaspersky one and in general try to be as careful as possible, iam pretty irritated how and why this happend. A complete scan does not end up with any hit, but that still leaves me with the question how this download could start in the first place. if anyone can explain to me how this can happen and what further steps i can take to ensure iam safe, i would highly appreciate it. Hello, I develop desktop software. My software has updates funtionality. I call installation (.exe) from my custom code with /qn parameter for installaing updates. When intallation is run the following error occures: The following applications should be closed before continuing the install. When installing the same application not from my custom application (but by clicking .exe) and without /qn flag no issues occur. Hello, I have Kaspersky on both of my children’s MacBooks. MS Teams is working for their home schooling but Kaspersky seems to stop the assignments from loading. This seems to be a sporadic problem but always immediately resolves itself when I turn the protection off. Does anyone have a permanent fix for this rather than turning it off? Thanks

When I click on a news story that has/is a video it doesn’t play. If I Pause Protection, it does play and these news videos all have a lead in advertisement. I’m not certain which option in KIS to disable. I’ll suffer thru the Ads to see the video. Would someone advise which setting needs to be changes? Thanks - Lance

When I opened the safe keyboard option. My keyboard would be disable for input when I am not opening any of the bank or password required software. Many users will just disable this option to avoid this situation. However. this should be a feature of Kaspersky instead of a bug. Is there any option/release-post I missed for this issue?

I really don’t want to see Kaspersky Shields icon everywhere I go. Isn’t there a way you can make it so that only dangerous website are shown with Red Shields. This is getting quite annoying and This can be only disabled by switching off the kaspersky Anti-banner feature. Anti-banner is a good ad blocker. Quite useful. But something should be done about these repetitive logos appearing everywhere.

I installed Kaspersky on my Mac and my internet stopped working. So I uninstalled but my internet still won’t work. I have restarted the Mac several times as well as the router. WiFi is working no problem on other devices. I have changed my DNS, checked timezone, made sure Kaspersky is uninstalled but it still won’t work. Can anyone please help? TIA

Hi Community, Recently, I viewed that discounts, for some Kaspersky applications, are available ONLY to new users. Might someone help clarify what a new user is? Is a new user for someone that selects a different Kaspersky application? For example, I have Internet Security and update to Total Security? Is a new user someone that has never bought a Kaspersky product in their lifetime? Is a new user someone that has not had a Kaspersky application in over a year? I recently started using a new computer, so that meant installing Kaspersky (Internet Security) as a fresh install with all default settings. Yesterday, Kaspesky Software Updater wanted to install an “update” to Dropbox. I allowed it, and it wiped out my previous version of Dropbox and reinstalled a fresh version. That meant that it deleted the Dropbox directory in my user profile with all local files (Dropbox cloud files are unaffected), and needed to be reconfigured (Selective Sync) and re-download many GB of files from the cloud. Sometimes support asks customers to run GetSystemInfo even for easy questions (like why does AVP.exe connect to site xy). I noticed that this is done via an unencrypted zip over an unencrypted e-mail exchange. Is there no encrypted channel to upload this sensitive data? Among other things the zip includes the name of my computer, Firefox computer name, all IPv6 addresses of my computer (ipconfig) and KIS settings (what is enabled/disabled). It also includes information about what bank offered me how much money over what periods of time. Hello. I noticed that KIS scans Lua files when the option to scan by “file extension” is enabled. Is this due to malware like “Linux.LuaBot” or “ProjectSauron” or does it scan for things like Roblox malware scripts?

Hello. Is it intended that KIS only uses about 4 concurrent CPU cores/threads for on-demand scans (e.g. context-menu scan)? There are 12 physical / 24 logical cores on my CPU and KIS only uses a small part of that. As a consequence KIS is relatively slow for on-demand scans.
