Hello, if you disable the real-time protection of malwarebytes, I think that is OK. Also you can use any scan tool instead of malwarebytes, such as microsoft autoruns or avz tool to check system auto boot object or other object/place related to easy to be make use of malware. Always remember that real-time protection has only one AV enabled, and it is best not to install multiple AV products that enable real-time protection on one computer. Regards.

Hello, I think there has a KPM connection issue between KPM browser addone to its application process. maybe this issue is related to other web browsers addone such as proxy type addone or any addone which could handle and filter network traffic. Disable browser addone one by one to check, which is a better method to figure out the result. 😉 Regards.

I have checked and the files are not Read-Only. See screenshots. Restoring the user profile was the first thing that I did but it did not solve the problem. Hello @Alexxela Some application with automatic boot privilege may lead to this issue. You can use microsoft autoruns tool to scan autoruns object in order to find suspicious application. I advice you also send autoruns log to KL support.

Here are the following screenshots/answers to your questions. I also want to apologize in advance as I won’t be able to respond back to you for a bit. Here is what the notification looks like (I blurred out my file names for privacy). Also in case you are wondering, I only have the free on-demand scan version of Malwarebytes installed, so it shouldn’t be conflicting with Kaspersky’s real-time protection. Here is the Windows Defender Firewall page. As you can see, it is being entirely controlled by Kaspersky. One thing to note though is that even though Kaspersky Firewall is turned on, Windows Defender Firewall itself does startup automatically and runs in the background, which is something I can’t change in services. According to the Windows Security Center, the Windows Defender Firewall is off when Kaspersky’s is on, and does automatically turn itself on if Kaspersky’s is disabled. My periodic scanning is set to off. One more thing I feel I should mention. In services, the Security Center (WSCSVC) is set to an automatic (delayed) startup. I can’t change any of the startup settings for this either, and not even sure if this is even related to my issue. Cheers.
