If "unable to restore files to original VeraCrypt loc" is a genuine bug, Kaspersky experts will assist if at all possible. Let us know the outcome when there is one? Thank you.

Hello sads45, Thank you for posting back and the information. pjcolonna reported "Virus Scan Failed", issue, very similar to what you're reporting Google Chrome Download to a network drive - Virus Scan Failed, due to File AV. pjcolonna's solution was to change: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments ScanWithAntivirus value from 3 to 1. If, you are comfortable modifying RE, before making any changes, please create a system restore point, and export the registry. However, if you're not familiar with Registry Editor, you may wish to contact Technical Support (to guide you), or post back so we can provide detailed steps? In anticipation of an obvious question, "how come this is happening with KTS 2020?" It could well be a bug the Lab need to work on. The only way to know that, is to submit Traces, GSI, Windows logs etc., to the Technical Team, (reference documentation at the end of my reply) Please let us know what you decide?   9. Hallo frank.td Herzlich willkommen! So schwer zu beantworten, bc, hatte nicht jeder Benutzer, der ein Upgrade durchgeführt hat, Kinderkrankheiten. Können Sie uns genau sagen, welche probleme? Wir können Sie informieren, (wenn) sie angesprochen wurden. Ich habe 2020 benutzt / getestet, hatte keine nennenswerten Probleme. (Ich habe eine Überprüfung für 2020, aber es ist kein Fehler, sondern eine "neue Richtung" von Kaspersky, & imo, eine sehr unkluge). Abgesehen davon spielt die persönliche Wahl auch eine Rolle bei der Entscheidung für ein Upgrade. Die neue Generation enthält Ergänzungen, die in früheren Versionen nicht verfügbar waren.   11. Hello tom.candle, Thanks for posting back. I'm a little confused, have I "misquoted"? If so, my apologies, certainly not intentional. If there is a bug, unfortunately, because you're using Kaspersky free software, there's no Tech Support, otherwise, it would be good to escalate the issue. TS would collect all necessary data, traces, logs and have the experts analyse, advise and resolve, or advise, if they found a bug did not exist. Kaspersky documents KAV free limitations, clearly stating Kaspersky Free provides Core protection: I agree, "it would be nice", however, all Kaspersky free software, has limitations. The premium products provide all the "bells and whistles", including white listing. Best regards

I understand/remember, KPC config was to limit IE use (1hr/daily): (1) So, there are 5 devices, with KPC configured, on/active/enabled - is that correct? IF "yes", what KPC config has been set for the other devices? (2) How many devices, in total, with KPC enabled/active? (3) Are the devices remote (to you)? (4) (On all impacted devices) have time zones and system time been confirmed in Bios? Please check this carefully, when time zone changes, the computer, Internet and application usage time is zeroed out, this may have reset or "messed-up" KPC configuration on affected devices. (5) What patch is KIS19.0.0.1088(x)? x=letter (6) When you select "Update settings" what screen(s) follow? Please post images? (7) On the device(s) where the alert is happening, please export KPC Reports, upload, using the "upload" icon, in your reply please? (8) On device with KPC configured and enabled, with no alert, please export KPC Report, upload, using the "upload" icon, in your reply please? Please post back? Thanks.

There's a bunch of stuff we could do/try to diagnose/troubleshoot & maybe solve, my thoughts are, it would be good for Kaspersky Technical Support to assist you, except, by the sound of it, KSC is unlicensed, ref: "I'm limited to single virtual location, need to spend money to get more options". According to Kaspersky guidelines, Tech Support is only available to users of licensed software, however, you have KIS, premium, so maybe, they might help. At they very worst, all they can say is "no", To contact TS, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c, select Location, select General product use, select from options: Phone (not available all locations) Online Chat (not available all locations) Submit a request: link redirects to MyKaspersky web portal, sign into your https://my.kaspersky.com/ account, go to https://my.kaspersky.com/techsupport#/requests/new, fill out template, as per my image: As well as providing as much info as possible, ensure you mention you have KIS Premium. To help me understand your requirements, how does it work (now), if the child is using the device, KSK is configured to block device after x hours, time expires, how are you notified? And, how do you action (for example: grant more time)? Also, can you please copy from INC000010232377, the information you submitted, and the reply from TS please? Thank you.
