Kaspersky Password Manager

I am trying to install the extension but once I try to install I get an error message. I tried this https://support.kaspersky.com/kpm-for-windows/settings/14258 The error says "The add on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure". I did the same with the regular version of Firefox and it worked, but not in the Developer Edition. How can I install it? I tried copying the files from the other profile, but the extension did not open. Thanks

KPM version: 24.2.0.277 / 1721917067_7608 / 1.1.0.2_1 KPM extension version: 24.2.57.2 Firefox version: 129.0.1 (64-bits) My Firefox extension is not synced with KPM. The passwords contained in it are from a long time ago and those that were added some time ago are not shown in the extension. Thank you.

Hello. Created folders in the All Recordings category on one device are not displayed on the other. Is this how sync is supposed to work? Is there a solution to the problem?

Given an existing website account for “http://domain.tld”, when trying to create a new website account for same domain but different port, like “http://domain.tld:8080”, i am asked to merge the credentials although due to the port I would expect them to be considered two different websites. This becomes problematic when the two websites have same username but different passwords. So is this expected behavior or can this be considered a bug?

I made a long password for my password manager and writed it to paper. My grandmother has a alzheimer. She just took it and we dont know where the paper is. I saved my all game account passwords there and when i click to forgot my password in password manager its saying your files will be gone and i dont want it. Hello everyone, The overall performance of the application is average or slow most of the time. Filling in passwords when I go to a website is slow, I'm waiting 5-10 seconds. Saving passwords in the browser is much faster. Also, using the KPM UI is not responsive as I expected. Click actions take ~0.5 seconds. Scrolling through the accounts page is slow. Delete, update etc. actions take ~1-2 seconds. I want to use KPM but it's slowing me down. Unless there are plans to improve performance, I have to switch to another application. What if one of my passwords gets compromised? Will it say on the app that the password has change for example?

I have been using my password manager for years. Until just recently ( few days ago) I have been receiveing alerts from my Password Manager that I have several weak passwords. All of my passwords use the maximum amount of numbers, letters, and special characters, that are allowed by the site rules. Why then ….after years of never having weak passwords, all of a sudden the next day I have a slew of “weak” passwords ????????

I know Android “white listed” apps are not supposed to die in the background. However, on my phone anyway, many many do anyways. I had always bought subscription for "Kaspersky Total Security" and I always had premium subscription for " Kaspersky Password Manager" too. My new subscription for "KTS" says "... 334 days remaining " and I get message from "Kaspersky Password Manager" "Go Premium" because you have the "free edition", when I believed I always had for ...334 days. Hello, I would like to ask something regarding a recent breach report that I received on my Email, Apparently Wattpad got breached and 270 Million data files got leaked to Hacker Groups. I started receiving tons of Emails from Websites that I have never signed up on, and I don’t know what to do next. I changed all of my more important account’s passwords using the Kaspersky Password Manager and added 2nd step verification. is there something that I need to do extra or I should just ignore those Emails or maybe even Delete my Email? Hi all, I don't have good encryption knowledge so my question may seem very layman, but I want to understand how KPM works. I understand that KPM stores the passwords in an encrypted form. But What happens when I unlock the vault. Does it store the passwords in storage devices in unencrypted form or does it just keep it in memory? If it's stored in hard drive, then it is pretty vulnerable. And if it's stored in ram the hackers can get a memory dump and suddenly they will have all of my passwords. Also, what happens to the master key? Where is it stored? If it is stored in hard drive, then can't anybody just take the key and the encrypted vault and will be a…

Kaspersky is overriding my existing password app. I need to disable Kapersky’s so it doesn’t autofill, causing me to have too many login attempts. This is very frustrating because it causes me to get caught in a cycle of resetting passwords and unlocking accounts..

Recently got a second hand computer and husband set it up for me, but he put his version of KPWM on it. It would be handy to keep his, despite it not being my profile. So question is, how to add my own KPWM bank of passwords profile as well on the **SAME device.** ? in short can you have two PW profiles on one device, and if so, how to set it up like that, so the Master PW that you enter on the device determines which 'bank' of passwords it accesses?

Anyone have tips on converting the Kaspersky password text file export into CSV format? I'm annoyed as F*ck that I have to do this because Kaspersky is being forced to leave the US market. I've got hundreds of passwords. I've decided upon a replacement password program, and they have a support document describing how to migrate Kaspersky passwords, but their import requires CSV format. It's going to be quite a slog since Kaspersky doesn't export in a delimited format. Anyone have tips on how to convert using, for example, Excel? Also, until I complete the conversion having all my passwords in a file in plain text is f*cking dangerous as hell. Thanks.
