Some competitors offer trial downloads (e.g. for one month), and indeed even Windows comes with some AV features. Just as the title says, and in order to login normally, I have to pause protection. This only happens on the laptop I'm using at work, but it doesn't happen on the PC I use at home. I tried adding the app to the exclusion list through "Manage exclusions", but to no avail. I tried adding it to the trusted list through "Specify trusted applications", it doesn't do anything when I click ok the first time after adding the app, but when I click it again, KIS crashes and restarts . The error message is attached for more info.

As my Kaspersky internet security's subscription was about to be expired I had purchased the key and added to my account but on computer I get, with in one week license will expire after 5 days license will expire. Is there anything I should do or my subscription will start automatically when present license is expired? Please someone guide me. Thank you

I have installed Windows 11 on a new disk and then installed Kaspersky Internet Security for the first time on this disk. But after the installation, the program says that the trial license has expired. Since I have installed the trial version for the first time after installing Windows, does anyone know why the program says that the license has expired and how to solve this issue?

For a few hours for a few days ending at this internet page or that at Kaspersky.com it really is impossible to find one's payment details. Any questions get the brainless algorithmic run around but never an answer of one's real payment details. At all other internet sites one does. Here they don't exist except perhaps at Riverland where I am told I don't exist as my details are not recognised yet the money magically does arrive and they happy near delirious brainless algorithms message tells me how they are so glad etc. As my details have changed they will get a shock: no credit! When I try to call up my BT email site Kaspersky displays a warning notice that the site is unsafe because BT have failed to update a certificate. I take the option of proceeding anyway. How do get rid of this warning coming up every time I go to BT email while ensuring that proceeding is safe?

So here’s a weird issue im having. Today I got on my computer and steam store in the steam client (desktop mode) wont load without a error connection message. In fact I cannot connect to my friends list without an error. Here’s the odd part. On my browser (Firefox) I can succesfully connect to the store page. Furthermore on the steam client if I go on to Big Picture Mode, I can browse the steam store and my friends list without a problem. Good evening. For quite a while I've been having a problem with my Surfshark VPN. Surfshark VPN while being connected still leaked the real IP. This could happen any time. Surfshark support requested the diagnostic from my phone and discovered that the issue was caused by Kaspersky antivirus. I decided to turn off the antivirus and then the VPN started working without any problem since then. Surfshark support adviced to add their VPN app to the Kaspersky app exception. However, unfortunately, Kaspersky doesn't have this option in the mobile app. Could add this feature, please. Thanks.

Hi, I was browsing through the reportds in KIS APP and it is showing in System Audit in Red alert for Task Cannot be Performed in Web Anti Virus and Network Attack blocker for 13:04 PM Today. Does safe messaging also protect against malware deployed without ever opening the text or does it scan the links only? I’ve read that some texts can be malicious through the multimedia messaging service without clicking on a link but just by opening it...and that it might even be possible to get infected without even opening the text (just by receiving it in the first place). Any insight appreciated!

I just went to my office where I have a password-secured internet connection. On my desktop Kaspersky is saying the connection is secured, but on my phone it's giving me the warning that the (same) connection is unsecured. Both phone and desktop connect automatically. I have never gotten the unsecured message before. TIA for any help.

Hi, I am a Mac user, Mac OS : 12.3.1 (21E258) NordVPN Version 7.6.0 (190) Kaspersky internet security 21.1.0.150d.e and also subscribed Kaspersky internet security and nordvpn on my Mac and window. I can connect Internet without any problem with my window, while when I use my Mac , I cant browse any website even I reset my VPN profile. I guess maybe it is because of issues with Mac or firewall or Kaspersky internet security? thanks Sasha

I recently started having failures on Calibre Metadata download for books. This applied to metadata downloads from Amazon, Google and Good reads. The remote host would reject the attempt to download the metadata and terminate the connection. After a period of evaluation of potential probable causes I tried using earlier versions of Calibre. It would work the first time an earlier release was used but subsequent attempts at metadata download would fail with the same results. All symptoms pointed to Kaspersky. With an previously unused version of Calibre it would work if Kapersky was disabled. Enabling Kaspersky would cause the metadata download to fail. This app…

I am running two desktop pc's. Both with Windows 10 21H2, OS Build 19044.1706, both with KIS 21.3.10.391i. One machine runs with almost no Kaspersky popups at all. The other seems to have almost continual popups when simple programs or installations are run. What is the best way to find out what the difference is? I suspect something in the Trusted/Restricted/Untrusted Applications are, but nothing looks amiss. Suggestions gratefully received.

I hereby complain that in the last three days, after a period of regular signature updates, it seems that the cyber world for Kaspersky is no longer having threats, only updating the database once a day. Good thing my subscription ends soon enough to switch to an anti-virus with more regular updates.
