Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium

Hello I am trying to install Kaspersky Standard 21.18 and I get an error that .Net is missing No problem installing 21.17, I may have a corrupted or missing file but no error when doing a Windows scan Does anyone know what additional file version 21.18 requires compared to 21.17 ? Quicken is able to connect with all my credit cards except Citi Visa. How do I get Kaspersky, Quicken, and Citi Visa to play well together?

Has anyone else noticed that the "Incompatible App" warning is gone from the Home screen within Version 21.18? Perhaps someone responded to my May 2024 Support suggestion after all . . . I did not have to dismiss it or ignore it; it is just gone. Now, the presence of my complementary security solution has been accepted by Kaspersky. Kudos. Have a great day. Regards, Phil

After update to Kaspersky 21.18.5.438 I am seeing that sometimes both Windows Defender and Kaspersky are both turned on by default after system boot which shouldn't be the case. I have kaspersky premium given to me but I'm not the account owner. I have read a couple of threads on here and some of the documentation. But it remains a little unclear and vague. What can the account owner specifically access on my device? What can they specifically see? What can they specifically do? Can I please get clear definitive answer please? For example: -can they see file list, names and paths? -can they see other devices and hardware connected? I don't know where to post this. In the last few days, when I entered the forum address using Chrome (forum dot kaspersky dot com), I am presented with Captchas. There is a message about "automated addresses." I have to enter the Captchas two or three times, and then I can log in. I am not using VPN. The device is my Windows 11 Pro, Dell XPS 8930 desktop computer. I have been a Forum member since May using this same device. This never happened before. Any ideas? Thank you, and have a great day. I was forced to restart my computer and in doing so I was updated to the new kaspersky now I got loads of stuff popping up, this is the latest one, I am not uninstalling malwarebytes. Also how do I disable smart home monitor and not have it keep popping up its got a network is it mine blah blah blah. Old software you were not FORCED to stay online for protection was miles better than this security risk allowing people to remote the software online, whose bright idea was that for an internet security company........... Also why is there no E-Mail 2 step verification?

i activated 3 machines with a standard licence connected with my acount , one of the machines got upgraded so i reinstaled windows and on the kaspasky page renmoved it and aded the new computer name. now it has loged out one of the machines and cant add it .it says 3 out of 3 have been activated though i removed one other just to see .

Hi im having a pop up from kaspersky telling me that the servers certificate is invalid (dns.google) and it will expire on september 2024 and that is not trusted, ive tried to trust and the pop up keeps showing up. Can someone help me please?

Is there an offline installer for Kaspersky Plus? I have downloaded the 4 MB application from My Kaspersky, and presumably its going to connect to the internet to download the acutal flies. I need to install AV on my new computer and don't want to connect to the internet without AV.

purchased 5 devices lic for my windows PC/laptops and cannot find the offline installer, I do not understand why Kaspersky make it so hard to get but use the 4.5MB online installer to repeat the installation process 5 times is really slow and the online installation for multi lic purchase seems really dumb. This is the second time I've had a file permanently deleted and I've lost the file forever with no option to recover it. Adding to the whitelist always tastes ineffective, I don't understand the rationale. Here's a video from an Nvidia playback recording. In the video, after I add the file as an exclusion. The warning did not go away, which made me feel confused, and then the file was deleted. I rushed to open the quarantine view to recover the file, however the file quarantine was empty. I still have my Standard license in effect until Dec.2024 .. If i purchase Plus in advance, can the license wait until my Standard expires? Or it will immediately upgrade my Standard and the PLus License activates and Days starts to count? .. Thank you

In Kaspersky Premium there is an option for use hardware virtualization if available. I was wondering what exactly this feature does, the only public info I can find about it is that it helps protect your input when using Kaspersky safe browser, but is it worth it to disable Hyper-V and the Memory Integrity features in favor of Kaspersky hardware virtualization? Does it also provide some additional protection that makes it more viable than these options? I also use some Hyper-V specific features such as WSL2, but I can live without these if hardware virtualization is better.

My Kaspersky software keeps giving me the error: Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which an encrypted connection is being established. Application: Microsoft Office. If this antivirus software won't work with Microsoft Office it is all but useless and needs to be uninstalled. Anyone know how to fix Kaspersky so it stops messing up?

Every Kaspersky update I've ever done - since about 2016 - has something incomprehensible. I just downloaded Kaspersky Plus, installed, relaunched (Windows 7) and a Kaspersky desktop message says: "preparing to launch the application". It's been "preparing to launch the application" for about half an hour. About 15 minutes ago, the application, while still "preparing to launch", popped up a message saying my subscription was active until 15/07/2025. When I pressed "Continue", it asked me to insert the activation code. Of course, Kaspersky Plus does not require an activation code.
