  1. i use kaspersky update utility to download updates and i copied it on an extern disk, then i plug the disk on the KSC server.

  3. Dear Friends, I need your attention to know how to offline update Kaspersky endpoint security client if the system is in Dark site. I didn't find the webpage to download the signature file manually. Although I downloaded the Windows update utility but once initiate the UpdateUtility-Gui, I didn't find such version list in the console which I have. Please guide us how to update the database for Kaspersky for offline client. Thanks...
  4. Correct. You must first update the utility itself to see new versions. That is due to the fact that the utility itself is not changed upon every new release but the database is.
  5. Доброго всем! В локальной сети организации установлен KSС 14.2.0.26967. Сеть физически не имеет интернет-подключения. Как правильно настроить обновление продуктов? Пробовалось на имеющей интернет-подключение машине скачивать обновления с помощью утилиты Kaspersky Update Utility 4.1, и закидывание скачанных папок в "Хранилища - Обновления баз и программных модулей"(Параметры - Источник обновлений - папка Updates в корне диска). Создаётся задача "Загрузка обновлений в хранилище Сервера администрирования", запускается на выполнение - сбой. "Задача обновления завершена. Необходимый для обновления файл отсутствует на источнике обновлений баз". Соответственно, клиенты - тоже без обновлений.
  6. Thanks for your response. I have used the Kaspersky update utility to download the database update and transferred this to the device but when using it as the database update source, KES still shows the 'Database release date' as months old.
  7. As far as I know, the update utility does not know how to update product versions (from 11.8 to 11.9 for example), it is intended specifically for updating databases. You need to do it manually, download the desired version, transfer it to the device and complete the installation. regarding the wrong update date, it may just be a display error, try the standard means - reload the application or device. Make sure that the license key used on the device is active and valid.
  8. I have the same problem... How can I clean Update Utility removing all useless things? Why it keeps downloading other versions of Kaspersky causing very long time of conection!!! Please help in English or Spanish I don't know Russian! Thanks
  9. Without a working backup, unfortunately, you will not be able to recover. You will have to start from the beginning. 1. Install the database server again 2. Install KSC server again (latest version 14.2) 3. Download all required client applications (KES, KSWS, etc.) with appropriate plugins. 4. Create all necessary tasks and policies After everything is ready, connect your devices to the new server ... use the utility ... C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\NetworkAgent\klmover.exe on the client device, run cmd as administrator, and go to folder cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\NetworkAgent\ run command, format - klmover.exe -address <you server name or IP> for example - klmover -address 10.10.15.20 the command will force the agents to connect to the new server and get the new policy settings from it, after which you will see how they are managed as before (don't forget to update the product versions)

For anyone who stumbles across this with the same issue, I was unable to resolve the issue with KES Update Utility so i'm using a domain joined laptop instead and using the 'distribution folder' feature. I then copy this across to the segregated network via a USB stick to update the databases.
  12. You should be able to press 'start' with all of the boxes unticked to update the update utility itself. It seems a lot of the versions are not immediately available though. Would be interested to know how you got on with applying the updates as I can't seem to have them apply once i've moved the updates to the target device and updated the source to be the local folder

Доброго дня, тестирую KSC Linux 14.0.0.4490 на Astra Linux 1.7, при попытке обновления баз для KSC и KES Linux (задача - загрузка обновлений в хранилище сервера администрирования) через общую папку на win server получаю ошибку "Задача обновления завершена. Необходимый для обновления файл отсутствует на источнике обновлений баз.". Обновления баз загружены на общую папку через Kaspersky Update Utility 4.1.0.4.74, аналогичный сервер KSC на Windows без проблем обновляется данным способом; Хотел узнать, с чем может быть связана данная ошибка? Как её исправить, учитывая что базы в указанной в задаче папке есть?
  15. I’m having a bit of trouble with the Update Utility. Last week, I was able to download the latest version of Endpoint Security (11.8.0.384) from the Utility. But since yesterday (03/01/2022), that option has disappeared. The latest version in the Utility is now 11.7.0.669. Are there any solutions to this problem?

Good day if you have just downloaded the update utility (currently version 4.1) and do not see the products you need, then on the first screen, without giving any settings (without selecting products), just press the start button. the system will access its databases on the servers of the Kaspersky Lab and download all the necessary information about products that can be updated. after that you can find the versions you are interested in in the list

Сетевые ПК (не имеющие доступа в Интернет) на которых установлен keswin_11.9.0.351_ru_aes256 не обновляются из папки обновлений, скачанных Kaspersky Update Utility - ошибка обновления. А если на ПК имеющем доступ в Интернет настроить keswin_11.9.0.351_ru_aes256 "Копировать обновление в папку" - сетевые ПК обновляются из этой паки. Почему не обновляются ПК через скачанные обновления Kaspersky Update Utility?

  19. The date of the bases in the package corresponds to when this package was built and placed for download. Therefore, it is dated 2021. if you have reinstalled KSWS clients, check if they are connected to your KSC server. Run the utilities on the problem server located at the following path (as administrator) C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\NetworkAgent\klcsngtgui.exe check if the connection to the server is correct and show the output of the connection test utility Check the settings of the task that I described above and run the update for the servers ... show the result of the task.

To do that, simply right-click on the 'Green Shield' Kaspersky icon in System Tray (on the bottom right corner of your screen), select “Exit” and then click on "Continue". If the issue persists despite exiting Kaspersky, please let us know. Otherwise, proceed to step #2. Step 2: Pause Kaspersky protection and check whether the issue persists. To do that, simply right-click the 'Green Shield' Kaspersky icon in System Tray (on the bottom right corner of your screen) and select “Pause Protection...” then select "Pause" and click on the grey "Pause Protection" button in the bottom. If the issue persists despite pausing Kaspersky, please let us know. Otherwise, proceed to step #3.   21. Hi Flood, I'm in UK. The Product I purchased was sold as Kaspersky Security Cloud in March of this year. I have all the sale documentation. The product consists of the Kaspersky Plus, Cloud and Password Manager. This has not attempted to update since I've been using it. My big problem just now is that I found my admin password on my phone password locker but it is not working so I can do very little until I can solve this issue. This goes back to the issue of the Password reset utility not finding the product and potentially the Windows Preview Version. I have consequently uninstalled the Preview release. The windows version is now Windows 11 Home version 22H2, Build 22621.674. Attempted to run the password reset again after uninstalling Preview Update. Same result. "Product not detected." Please see the screenshot you requested of "Kaspersky" Search results from Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features. Attempted to gain access to reports. Again run into the admin password that I cannot reset as soon as I press Reports botton. Again, I cannot do anything without the admin password which I'm sure is correct. Any ideas as to next step.   22. Скачал с сайта kesl-11.2.0-4528.x86_64.rpm, ставлю на РЕД ОС. Задача - не грузить канал связи и обновить все базы. Выкачал Kaspersky Update Utility обновления, подсунул программе: kesl-control --set-settings 6 SourceType=Custom CustomSources.item_0000.URL=/home/test/Updates/ CustomSources.item_0000.Enabled=Yes ApplicationUpdateMode=DownloadAndInstall kesl-control --start-task 6 базы обновились, как теперь вернуть вывод kesl-control --get-settings 6 к первоначальному виду? Не отключить кастомный источник обновлений, а именно удалить его
  23. Доброго времени суток. На борту компьютера с Windows 7 Pro x32 bit, имеется Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.6.0.349. Данный компьютер получает обновления в ручную, с помощью флешки. Выхода во внешнюю сеть ни в какую нет и собственно быть по задумке и не должно. На днях на другом компьютере с помощью Kaspersky Update Utility скачали обновления и перенесли их на нужный нам компьютер. Обновление прошло успешно, но теперь в трее рядом со значком Касперского висит сообщение о возможности обновить сам Касперский. Собственно сам вопрос заключается в следующем, как убрать данное сообщение? Версию Касперского ни в коем случае повышать нельзя. Кнопка с откатом обновления неактивна. Возможно ли это сделать не удаляя сам Касперский?

Buenos días, ante todo agradecer a Caos por su ayuda y consejos relacionado con mi problema, afortunadamente lo logre, realmente no se que pasa con la versión de Kapersky Center 13.0 para Linux que cuando se crea una tarea para la actualización , siempre intenta buscar los propios repositorios de kapersky en internet y no tiene en cuenta los sitios que uno le especifica, en fin de forma general lo solucione de la siguiente forma: 1- Descargue el Kaspersky Update Utility 4.0 (Como bien especifico Caos en su ultimo post y sobrescribir el contenido de esa carpeta en /opt//kaspersky/ksc64/kuu 2- Configure el update.ini y lo puse a descargar desde la url que tenemos 3- Luego desde consola ./uu-console.sh -u -t -r Ya con esto el descarga todas las actualizaciones y ya desde la web los clientes pueden actualizar usando como source Kapersky Center Solo me queda una duda? En le fichero de configuración antes mencionado (updates.ini) hay una sesion llamada [ComponentSettings] que tiene todos los sistemas en FALSE, la duda es cuales son los que se deben habilitar ??????......por si se habilitan todos, descarga casi 2 GB de updates.
