"Settings --> Additional --> Self-defense --> confirm uncheck "Enable Self-Defense"". Setting --> General section --> uncheck "Launch Kaspersky Internet Security at computer startup (recommended)" reboot pc Go to C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP20.0\Bases\Cache folder. Delete all files and folders. Let me konw the result. Regards.

If it still not go, please do a little test: Go to c:\program files(x86)\kaspersky lab\{product name}\.copy avp.exe to the desktop and delete the original one. If it can't be done, AVP self-denfense don't be closed even if you disable it in product GUI. Let me know the result of little test. Regards.
  5. Hello, FLOOD Do you disable self-defense and exit product first? There is no avp.exe, avpui.exe process in process manager window? and then Delete all files and folders. I can clean all the files and folders without any problem. Regards.
  6. Hello, FLOOD What‘s your product database release date? If the database update successfully, you still encounter this behavior. You do the following steps to clean the AVP database cache loaded by the product. Disable self-defense and exit product; Go to C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP20.0\Bases\Cache; Delete all the files and folders in Cache folder; Start product and enable self-defense; Re-check this issue.   19. Hi, Neilg The log you providered show the installation encounter a security information migration issue. It maybe lead to self-defense module of KTS or KTS process takes up the relevant registry key. Please try to disable self-defense module and exit KTS to upgrade OS. I think uninstalling KTS will make the system update more successful as you expect. Regards.

  22. Hello, okq550 Could you "Purge Cache" the website cache by cloudfront? All the KIS detected event is point to the js cache. Any better after that? If not go, Please check the cached content of detected object is as the same as the one on the server. regards.
