I am a long time user of KAspersky Total Security and Kaspersky Rescue Disk. In particular, I’ve been using KRD10 for awhile now, and wish to upgrade to KRD18, but I’ve been having a terrible time with the download: https://rescuedisk.s.kaspersky-labs.com/updatable/2018/krd.iso The Issue I’m having is that the download is extraordinarily slow (between .5KB/s and 16KB/s) and always fails. I have in 4 days not been able to download the ISO image of Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18. This occurs despite my having contacted my ISP to determine whether or not the problem is with my internet connection. Downloads from other sites do not present this issue. My question is this - Are …

I want to export and read as ASCII text the report files from krd scans; e.g. report_2019.11.10_15.59.29.klr.enc1. To the developers: Please allow either raw text file export or tell me the app that can read this format.

Hello, unfortunatley, Support (Live-Chat) could not help me, as they do not support Internet Security / Rescue Disk. I use Kaspersky Internet Security. Maybe you can help me, I have created a Rescue USB Stick, I can see the menu to choose between graphics Mode and a Limited graphics mode. Then, after I try to load the graphics (or) limited graphics, the system freeze. I have attached the output of the linux boot messages. As far as I know, rescue disk is based on Gentoo Linux, i can boot the Gentoo Live-CD / System without problems, as well as Ubuntu. But, i can't boot Debian except i use the nonfree-firmware Image. Is there a way to use a working Image with Kaspers…

I carefully followed the directions for using Rufus to create a Kaspersky Rescue Drive on a USB flash drive. The result was an unbootable flash drive. Here is my configuration on Rufus: Attempting to boot from this flash drive resulted in the following: GRUB loading Welcome to GRUB error: symbol ‘grub_file_filters_all’ not found grub rescue> The only way to escape from this was CTRL+ALT+DEL After this, I decided to create a Kaspersky Rescue Drive using Win32 Disk Imager. Clicking on the link for Win32 Disk Imager (on the page with Kaspersky’s instructions) sent me to this web page - do you see a download for Win32 Disk Imager here? So here’s my question: Does anyon…

Hi all! Please, fix init-script for mounting NFS-root over TCP. NFSv4 by default no listen UDP-ports. If PXE-server have NFSv4, KRD can not mount NFS-root and can not start. Thanks you for your work! //Mod Note: moved to the correct section.

The 'Create persistent volume' start menu script creates a \data\krd.bs file when booting from a USB hard disk, but persistence does not work when you reboot and there is no \livemnt\backstore or \livemnt\boot. It works OK only if the USB drive is a Removable type of USB drive. This means we cannot have persistence when using multiboot USB hard disks, USB Corsair GTX flash drive or USB Silverstone M.2 drive enclosures, etc,

in the current Kaspersky Rescure DVD 2018 there is an init file included, that, if PXE booted, looks for md5 checksum files only, but the ISO only contains sha512 check sum files. to be able to PXE boot a Kaspersky Rescue DVD, i have to provide a modified init file, where all "md5" & "MD5" are replaced by "sha512" & "SHA512". on the ISO the init file is located at: /boot/grub/initrd.xz -> /initrd/init Kaspersky Rescure 2018 is used in my tiny RPi-PXE-Server project.

I used KRD newest version from internet download from Kaspersky to make an antivirus scan of a double boot Win 7 on a SSD. After finishing, mbr and partition table are destroyed ! Mbr can be recovered one of the systems of win 7 works, but the first is destroyed by defects in partition table which cannot be repaired because it is severe and unstable ! Thank you Kaspersky ! Hi, I' ve testing both live-cds, Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 (KRD10) and Kaspersky Rescue Disk 2018 (KRD18). I have to scan mounted veracrypt-containers. I was able to install veracrypt in both versions and was able to scan a mounted conainer (e.g. /media/veracrypt1) in KRD10 by simply adding the folder to the scan-list. But KRD18 is different. While it has support for modern hardware, I was unable to scan a mounted veracrypt-container. I checked the scripts under /opt/KRD/ and they detect a veracrypt-container if it is NOT mounted (but encrypted). Everything works fine until krt.sh executes your binary (sorry forget the name). Your binary aka the virus scanner looks for t…

I booted a Windows 10 computer with the Kaspersky boot rescue disk. When performing a scan of two different Windows 10 systems with this Kaspersky boot disk, both time a Trojan named Trojan.Multi.GenAutorunReg.a was found, and it's categorized as a Fileless object. I'm confused how a fileless Trojan got on both systems when I was booting from the Kaspersky boot disk. Can someone explain? It makes it seem that there is an issue with the boot disk.
