Every time an app runs, KIS asks for my permission at least 20 times for the same app, and there’s no way for it to remember this for the next time, especially if I use VPN. This is absolutely ridiculous and I can’t find any way to turn this off. So I end up disabling KIS altogether. Another annoying thing is, every time you insert a USB drive, it will automatically start scanning it and a window will popup. You have no option to disable this, and the window doesn’t know how to close itself, so after a while you have about 10 windows of scans that you have to manually close. I have been asked twice today to fill a survey about my satisfaction with KIS, the product was also badgering me about the additional services etc. in the past (but this can be switched off). Annoying AF! How can I switch off this survey asking spam? I thought this product would protect me from that kind of rubbish. I have bought 10 licences for this year and last year as well, this kind of annoying stuff is really making me think of changing to a different solution for next year.

Hi, For a while I have the same issue only in EDGE. It says “managed by your organisation”. I can’t change some parameters that are grey. For example it never suggest any website from the history. Quite boring ! I’ve not been able to find any issue thanks to internet, but it often says that antivirus may cause troubles. As i use KIS2021, could it be the source of the issue. If yes, what to do ? Do I have to use another browser to fix that ? Thanks for your help. Bruno

Hello All, Today i clicked the Virus Link By Mistake. When i click the link, it automaticly downloaded and opened (it didn’t even to ask me where to save the file) I just saw that when it came to my screen, there was 3 folders like *screenshots, *videos, *information. Files were locked but i didnt click the files or i didnt enter the password. I had no any anti-virus protection. Then i downloaded Kaspersky Internet Security and scanned my pc, there was no any infection/virus. But as i know Anti-Virus programs cant scan the locked files/winrar Do you want to add me here virus link ? It was shorted link with a shoortener. Please help me.

when I try to use Kaspersky virtual keyboard the cursor cannot be seen when I move on to it. uninstalled Kaspersky rebooted and downloaded again from my Kaspersky but just the same. Have run full scan to no avail This is on a new HP Laptop running Windows 10

Kaspersky has false positives by downgrading a virus as PUA (potentially unwanted software). I have personally been infected with these viruses on my computer, so I know that they are not PUA but instead they are a virus. They made explorer.exe and searchapp.exe (called searchui.exe in earlier windows versions) crash on my computer nearly every day. Ever since I installed Kaspersky I can’t download ICO files. Any suggestions?

I’ve been wondering if KIS scans files that I download automatically? And when? When downloading? Or when accessed? So, I did a test with the EICAR virus text file from ‘this’ site and I did not get any notification at all!! I'm feeling insecure with KIS, because in the last few days the date of distribution of the database exceeds 12 hours or more. Yesterday it only updated once and today I have the database at 5:31AM and my local time is 5:30PM. What is the matter with Kaspersky servers, there are no threats in the world that are getting more and more dangerous or I already think that the blame will be on my side.

Open protected web browser (must have green frame) protected by kaspersky do print screen (PrtSc) paste into Microsoft Paint - here is fully displayed complete image of bank for example like in normal browser when you do print screen. I hereby complain that in the last three days, after a period of regular signature updates, it seems that the cyber world for Kaspersky is no longer having threats, only updating the database once a day. Good thing my subscription ends soon enough to switch to an anti-virus with more regular updates.

I recently started having failures on Calibre Metadata download for books. This applied to metadata downloads from Amazon, Google and Good reads. The remote host would reject the attempt to download the metadata and terminate the connection. After a period of evaluation of potential probable causes I tried using earlier versions of Calibre. It would work the first time an earlier release was used but subsequent attempts at metadata download would fail with the same results. All symptoms pointed to Kaspersky. The newly-designed Kaspersky Security for Android appears to be lacking a very simple feature, which is to give us the option to remove/change the license that the app is currently using. I disconnected my device from the license under My Kaspersky and the app itself is no longer connected to my account. The license now says "0 out of 1 device protected", which means it is currently not being used. Yet, the app is still stuck on using that very same license as you can see in the images below. Hi, I am a long-time KIS-user and am quite happy with Kaspersky. About one week ago KIS started blocking jDownloader. I checked all firewall- and program rules and FW-monitoring but couldnt find the process at all. I also reset all setting of KIS. Only when I quit KIS completly jDownloader can access the internet (updates, downloads, check logins of rpgator). Any idea what to do? Best regards, v4rg

I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) installed in my computers for many years. My KIS is going to expire on 3rd Jan 2024. Last week, I purchased the KIS from Lazada store to renew my KIS. I received the package and noted that the front page of the Activation Card states that the Activation Code must be used before the end of 2022. I am now puzzed if I can still use this new KIS to renew my existing KIS for year 2024. The Lazada store has rejected my request for a refund of this expired activation card. Apologies if this has been answered, I did look around. Win 10 Home 10.0.19045 Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391(I) Due to an oversight on my part auto renewal failed and was cancelled. I purchased it manually and received confirmation with an activation code. I've delayed applying it until today which is the day before the current one expires. I input the activation code and it showed confirmation that my system was protected for 364 days - unfortunately I did not capture that screen. So uninstalling "Internet security" 21.3.10.391 to re install "Standard". All went well on first two laptops, windows 11 standard "add/remove" worked as it should, installed Standard as expected, all good.
