qbittorrent getting deleted since yesterday, detected as PDM trojan generic.

Yesterday, 11.02.2021 KTS started deleting qbittorrent client. i’ve reinstalled it yesterday and it was fine.

 

Today after pc startup it was again deleted by KTS. I’m attaching png SS.

 

I’ve put qbittorrent installer on Virus Total, no detections.

 

So, when  program is installed something triggers KTS to delete it. False positive? It was fine until yesterday.

 

Anyone else with this issue?

Just for information,

 

ive installed an 32bit version of qbittorrent and ucnhecked the box when isntalling (run qbittorrent at windows start - did that manually after installation) and it seem to be ok.

Maybe reinstall kaspersky might help solve problem.

but then tried 32bit and it seems ok so far.

Yeah I have 32 bit qbittorent version 4.3.3 

thats working … I am goint try test 64 bit version in virtual machine with beta version 2021 MR3.

Also please contact tech support as Berny wrote above.

tnx for all effort. with 64 installation the problem occured after pc shutdown/restart.

 

with 32 its all good.

@andrejl2 in my case no problems with 64 bit qbittorent after restart or shutdown pc also i do scan qbittorent folder in Program files with no threats.
