I have downloaded the .ovpn file from https://my.kaspersky.com/VPN and saved the username and password. I can not connect to vpn using this file either from network manager or cli using 'openvpn --config credentials.ovpn' .

Sorry but you are stubborn...why don't you want to understand that one AV is better? Are you smarter than engineers? Every beginer know that 2 AV is not good for your protection and also for pc resources. Its big overkill.

@katseye, I can only relate my weeklong experience. I have been monitoring my Task Manager. Combined, K and MBP apps use less than half of my computer resources, with the exceptions enabled in both, and MBP told not to register in the Windows Security Center than my former BD antivirus solution used all by itself. As it is my computer, I plan to continue running both products with real-time protection enabled in both products and I will continue monitoring my Task Manager. I am also going to continue to ignore the K warning and hope that K will modify their software so that I can dismiss that warning. NOTE: This is contrary to the official stance of Kaspersky.
