Kaspersky Security Cloud

I switched from Total Security to Cloud. I also installed Safe Kids on several devices and it works fine but under licenses it still shows up under the old Total Security license that is expired. When I go to devices and try to add the Cloud license to the device it says the code could not be found. While all programs are working correct it is kind of annoying that the licenses dont show up correct. Stephan

I bought a 1 year subscription to Kaspersky Security Cloud, and want to renew it now while I know I can without undue stress. I know I will have job security and can meet essentials in the future, I don’t know if that includes a premium antivirus. So I feel I should purchase it now while I can. But I don’t want to do that if the subscription will start counting down immediately. I would only do that that if it was added to my current sub and began counting down immediately after my current sub ends…. I hope I am making sense. Any guidance from on high?

I’m using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and after installing some basic programs programs (clean windows install) I noticed that HW virtualization is disabled. I have no Windows Hyper-V installed: However I have installed VirtualBox and Android Studio with Android Virtual Device. I’ve tried uninstalling them both, but It didn’t help. What should I do to enable HW Virtualization? VirtualBox works fine. It’s not Hardware issue.

I would like to submit a copy of a Kaspersky detection to find out if it’s a false positive or not. I don’t have the original file since Kaspersky deleted it. How do I do this? Thank you

Why is it so easy to bypass Kaspersky protection in Kaspersky Security Cloud and particularly application manager? All that is required is to click on the licensed email address at the bottom and click the change account option. No password is required! Any random email address can then be entered and Kaspersky will revert to free version and can be disabled by the new user!

While running the Vector Works, Kaspersky Cloud is blocking its license due to which it keep on restarting.

I would like to ask whether Kaspersky Security Cloud will automatically switch to the free version after the trial of the home version. Thank you.

I want to buy Kaspersky Security Cloud for several PCs. I'm in trial mode presently. When I click on the link within the Kaspersky app on a PC to purchase a subscription, I am sent to the Kaspersky UK webpage (I am in Spain). The price for a 5-license subscription on the Kaspersky UK webpage, with the EUR currency selected, is just under €70/year. Clicking to change country to Spain changes the price to €99/year. What the F---? (Aside from that, there is no option to select “I need X licenses", only “3” or “5”. I need 6. Buying 3*2 works out to much more expensive per-license than the 5-license per-PC cost.)

Hi, This may be a detail, but I have noticed that whenever Kaspersky throws up an information window about new security developments (for example “An exploit was discovered in the wild for program xy. It should be updated immediately.”) and I click on a link to a report or something, the link opens up in Internet Explorer instead of the default browser. If there is no specific reason for that, it should probably be changed. Thank you

The seller says “Please note that this product can only be used within the EU & UK” Can i activate it in Turkey? I just activated Kaspersky Total Security less than 2 months. If I would like upgrade to Security Clod, does it mean that I need to wait until my Total Security to expire, to make it worth for an upgrade to premium Security Cloud?

Hi everybody, As the title says and as you can see from the screenshot above, Kaspersky Security Cloud 21 keeps notifying me that a new device has been connected to my network, but it’s not true. Why? Because the laptop in question, a Lenovo IdeaPad 320, is my cousin’s PC, which I’ve formatted last week and returned to her 5 days ago. Kaspersky Security Cloud is taking more than 24hrs and counting while deep cleaning. Advanced disinfection is stuck at 89%. What's worse is that I cannot access my laptop. All applications and files are not opening. I keep getting bad image pop ups on trying to open anything. I can't shut down or restart my pc. Below are attached images of the problem:

I have no problem connecting to the Secure Connection, however my computer address shows that I am in California. I am in the state of Georgia, almost 2400 miles east. How can I correct this so my computer knows where it actually is. This computer has never been to California since I bought it new. Using a secure connection 2000 + miles away really slows things down. Thank you

Hello, I use the Cloud free version on some Virtual computers (Windows 10 and 8). I have too many problems with the license system to still use this service. Before, I used to have sometimes a license problem when something went wrong with one of my virtual computer and I imported a backup into VirtualBox, probably resulting in Kaspersky Cloud detecting this as a new machine. Now, the problem occurs with almost each Windows update of my virtual computers and even the Windows 8 one, which never had any problem so I didn’t restore it with a backup had this license issue. Hello, I have Kaspersky Security Cloud Free on Windows 7 64 Bit and i update my Kaspersky once every 2 days but after every update, the Disk space available on Local Disk C: is reduced by 100-150 megabytes after each Kaspersky update. So, what is the reason behind this behavior and how to solve this issue? Note: I have scanned my entire computer for viruses/malware with Kaspersky and it found nothing.
