I’m using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and after installing some basic programs programs (clean windows install) I noticed that HW virtualization is disabled. 

I have no Windows Hyper-V installed:

 

However I have installed VirtualBox and Android Studio with Android Virtual Device. I’ve tried uninstalling them both, but It didn’t help.

 

What should I do to enable HW Virtualization? VirtualBox works fine. It’s not Hardware issue.

2. Currently, is VirtualBox installed?
3. Is Microsoft Windows Defender Device Guard active?
4. Have all: Possible reasons why the protection through hardware virtualization does not work been checked? 
5. Has How to enable hardware virtualization in BIOS for Windows 10 been checked?
6. Has a check of Applications incompatible with Kaspersky Security Cloud been done?

I’m using Windows Hypervisor Platform. Does it mean that Kaspersky Hardware Virtualization won’t work? 

 

It’s not Hardware issue.

Is your BIOS up to date ?

Yes it is. Virtualization works in my system. I have issues only with Kaspersky.


What are benefits of Kaspersky Hardware VIrtualization? How it makes computer usage safer? Is it important?
