Hello Guys. Want to buy new phone, (seems to be) sold in Europe - assuming on its website - but not sold "officially" in my country. Said that because, this phone sold on the market anyway without official warranty, yet with distributor's warranty. Assuming it's not official phone... If... this phone embedded by some malware or anything like that, would "KIS for Android" do the job? I have one already on my older phone.

On the kaspersky site I read kaspersky KIS 2019 suports secure keybord input on chrome on the version until 64. But I use chrome version 76 with KIS 2019 19.0.0.188(g). It's already a very long time on chrome, kaspersky does not show a little popup of secure keyboard input so you have no idea whether kaspersky supports secure keyboard on your chrome or not. Can someone determine whether chrome version 76 is supported for secure keyboard input? I use the kaspersky protection extension on chrome.

Hello, When we try to access our website from a computer (mac) where kaspersy is installed, the certificate is detected as not trusted. But for us, it seems that everything is ok : https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=oereb.bs.ch This happens only with kaspesky. Is there a way to find out the reason why my certificate is not trusted? Thanks, Guillaume.

I'm trying to renew my license but seems like an anti virus company can't get a simple checkout process right?!?! If you look at the first screenshot, it states that for 3 devices across 2 years - the cost is SGD99 but once I decide that I want to renew, the next page magically changes the number to USD119.99 which effectively makes me SGD 160?? How am I to trust Kaspersky if it already tries to scam x2 of my money right from the start?

has anyone heard of "witiant . xyz/" ? this website popped up and said i had a security breach, then spammed itself in browser and froze my computer. after rebooting i looked it up and cannot find anything about this website. is this something to take seriously or just a scam? i was also given a number to call for Microsoft support: 1(866)-658-7563(this is not Microsoft support) this is my fist time posting so if this is the wrong place to ask a question about something like this then I do apologize. -Alex

Hi, yesterday I've encountered strange issue: Consider 4 of my computers, each one runs identical version of KIS 20.0.14.1085, let's call them A,B,C and D. For the longest time everything worked as expected, and every one of the four computers could ping any from the remaining 3 without problem. Yesterday I noticed my NMS reports computer A as down. Investigating computer A I couldn't see any issue, it had lan and internet connectivity and could ping B,C,D without issue. No other computer on the local lan could however ping A. After some debugging it turns out it was KIS firewall. What is strange though, all of A,B,C,D have the same default firewall settings of blockin…

OS = Windows 10. The automatic database update continues to get to 97% and just stops and never finishes. 128 days remaining on subscription. At the same time, Microsoft Outlook downloads email extremely slow. (No problems when using web mail applications). No problems with network or browsing with any browser. I have re-booted multiple times, I have let it try to download for at least 48 hours. I have run windows update and after the update/reboot, Outlook will download email normally for a few moments and then stall again. I shut down Outlook but the Kaspersky database update just sits there at 97%. I have shut down the Kaspersky app with task manager and reboo…

Hi All, I have recently turned on the Application Guard to shield my Microsoft Edge session when browsing as I got a bitminer virus a while ago despite having Kaspersky which also deleted the whole of the antivirus files!!! (that's how I noticed I had an issue). Back on topic, does this affect the ability of Kaspersky to identify potential threats? Thank you very much!

Hello, I have Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.0.829 and macOS 10.14.6. KIS is having the default installation configuration. I have installed Microsoft Edge for Mac 77.0.235.22 (beta). I have tested the KIS's web filter using this resource https://www.eicar.org/?page_id=3950. If you download using the secure, SSL enabled protocol, Edge manages to download successfully the eicar_com.zip file. This should not happen. If you do this with Chrome, KIS's filter blocks the download attempt. I would assume that the KIS's filter should be an always on man in the middle no matter what application/script makes web traffic. Thank you!

Hello, I have KIS 19.0.0.1088d installed on my Windows 10 x64 1809 desktop and router forwarding port 22 from WAN to my desktop port 22 (I know its dangerous and I forget to close the port forwarding after I test something earlier this year). I have OpenSSH client/server installed on my Windows 10 (the ones provided by Windows) which allow I ssh connect my desktop from outside. Since then I notice that from time to time that Windows Defender/Firewall notify me they have themselves turned on because KIS snoozed. And some notification saying they have turned off again because KIS comes back alive. Also I receive KLAVA update failed from time to time. Both usually happen o…

kav uses more and more memory over time. I kill it occasionally, but that has side effects*. It's restarted by macOS, It's important for any memory leaks to be addressed. Not just because of performance. Memory leaks are a sign of poor coding, which is a sign of poor security. *reports (false, I assume) that some components aren't running and I need to reinstall or contact tech support.
