Hello @Hartha,

Welcome!

Yes, when KIS expires, you will be “offered” the opportunity to renew or purchase another KIS license, select “no”, a further option will be offered to install KAV Free, however, it may be Kaspersky Security Cloud Free (which btw, is better), the conversion of the sofware, from KIS to Free will be managed by the software application. 

Note, if you have “renew” set for your KIS subscription, none of the above will work.
