In Windows 10 I can see that two versions of KIS are installed on my PC: 20.0.14.1085 and 21.1.15.500, installed in August, 2020 and just recently. Should I uninstall the earlier version (20.0.14.1085)?

Hello, Yesterday I’ve tried to add a couple of .doc files as attachments to my email in Gmail; for one of them a virus was detected. Hence, I was unable to attach it. Neither KIS nor AVZ Toolkit unable to find any viruses (databases are up to date). Any ideas on what I have to do to find that virus and detect contaminated objects?

I installed this version clean while keeping the necessary data from the previous installation of version 20. Now I see that there are report events in the file anti-virus section for different .msi files that are present in the system or removable drives. I scanned one of them located on a removable drive, and the reports about it ceased, I had two of those events from different days when I plugged the drive in. The files are all safe, some are installers for programs like Evince, and some for things like Nvidia PhysX. In the system they are located in C:/Windows/Installer. As a software suite that focuses on security and privacy it would be a natural extension to also include features that can remove meta data / exif / GPS coordinates from photos, videos also documents. When I take photos with my cellphnoe for items i want to sell online I don't like putting my GPS coorindates out there for thiefs to see the nice things I am selling and the exact position to go get them. In that thread I was informed that KIS will now automatically upgrade to version 2021 and beyond. However, only 1 of my 4 computers has done that that upgrade. The other three stayed at 20.0.14.1085(m). I’ve confirmed that I do not have the registry hack in place that disables automatic upgrade. I have a canon IR ADV 400 printer/scanner and have installed the full software set including the Canon Network Scanner tool. I cannot get the scanner to work with Microsoft Fax and Scan with Kaspersky running or when i reboot it breaks the connection. I looked through all the settings and changed the network to trusted. Hi, i am using Mac kaspersky. I cannot browse Netflix today since ‘Your connection is not a private connection’, but i still browse yesterday. I can browse Netflix if i close the kaspersky application. Is there any problem?

My full scan took almost 12 hours and it reveled my computer had 436 objects (virus) and when i clicked resolve all it is stuck as the number 436 objects and a loading circle before it.

How to clear the SafeMoney list in the context menu: right click on the KIS logo near the system clock, then SafeMoney:open website? There is a few adressess, which I don’t need any more, and I want to clear the list. Option “configure” is not helpful, because the list, which opens after click this, is different. That list can be edited - I can add and remove urls, but in the context menu there are no changes.

I am using WSL2 on Win 10. Whenever there is a system reboot, WSL2’s virtual network adapter disappears from network center in control panel. It’ll appear again and connect to a network when WSL2 is launched. KIS doesn’t remember when an adapter functions like this. There is also no way to add/match this adapter to exclusion. I have to select ‘it’s a trusted network’ whenever i reboot and use WSL2. Would be nice if: I can make KIS know this adapter only spawns after i launch WSL2 after reboot. or, i can turn off “confirm my action for next 30 minutes” altogether or, there is exclusion rule to configure in KIS

I have the following doubt: The update to the new KIS 2021 (MR2) is done automatically from KIS 2021 MR1 or i will have to download the standalone installer/setup from the Kaspersky website or under "My Kaspersky >> downloads". I notice that my fresh install of K.I.S. v21.1.15.500 patch C does not not update data bases after startup, I’ve set a 5 minute delay but nothing happens. Having to use manual update. Automatic Rootkit scans take place, but use a database that is out of date.
