May 5/25 Kaspersky has become CROOKS. Kaspersky is CHEATING me out of my due refund. Kaspersky last week informed me I would receive a refund for my non-installed security system. Hello, I recently upgraded my PC from Windows 7 to Windows 10. During the process, I forgot to uninstall Kaspersky Internet Security before formatting the HDD. Now the activation code doesn't work on Windows 10 (same machine). Is there a way to make it work? I do have a back up of the Windows 7's Windows and Program Files (x86) folders. Is there a way to copy registry from these folders to the Windows 10's folder? Thanks for your time and help.

Please help! I tracked this Event Log Warning down to Kaspersky by searching the Windows Registry. I have been getting tons and tons of this error for both my volume 8 and 10. (I’m not sure which disk or partition those are?). I have restore my system (C:) from backup 10 days ago and still receive these errors. So, I uninstalled Kaspersky, and rebooted and these errors stopped. So, I hoped reinstalling would fix this. But it didn’t I still get these errors. I am investigating why I am suddenly not able to put my PC (running Windows 10) into sleep mode. The sleep and power options seem OK. So, when I’m in the secured browser (Firefox in my case), and click in a password field, it says “Secure keyboard input is enabled”. Now, I can input my password in a variety of ways, using my laptop keyboard, using the Kaspersky onscreen keyboard, using the Windows onscreen keyboard, and even copy and pasting a password into the password field. For the last weeks, I'm unable to access the Steam Store, Community or XBox App games, I'm getting an error saying I'm not connecto to Internet. If I pause Internet Security protection, everything works as intended, but it's nothing I plan to do. I've tried adding the Steam app as a trusted app, as well as the steam DNS, but it doesn't works. What do I need to configure so I can play Steam and XBox games without disabling my firewall?
