Kaspersky Security Cloud

Earlier today I noticed a .exe file appear on my desktop: it is named - Install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection version 21.2.16.590. I already have Kaspersky VPN Secure Connect on my computer although it is an older version number. I thought this would automatically be updated when my free version security cloud anti virus is updated. Is this a legit kaspersky file, and should I install it?

When Kaspersky is running (even with protection disabled), 1. I can’t manage my playlists on youtube: the button to add a video to a playlist doesn’t respond. 2. I can’t post comments under a youtube video: a red “error” displays under the input box. 3. I seem connected to my youtube account, there is my avatar on the upper right (on computer), but the left menu asks me to connect by clicking on a button that leads to an error page from Google: “405. That’s an error. The request method GET is inappropriate for the URL /youtubei/v1/guide. That’s all we know.” Only occurs on FIREFOX. No problem with other browsers. How can I make Kaspersky work well with Firefox ?

There is no way to close this. I restart and it pops up again. It will not go away and it’s on top of everything. I can’t use my computer at all unless I can close this (I tried to force close it and it refuses.) This is the free version, I understand it has pop ups but it’s shouldn’t disable my using my computer either. How do I close it or should I uninstall and get a different product?

Hello. I have installed Kaspersky Security Cloud on my Windows 10 laptop. When I try to comment, it says “Returned error”. This did not happen before I installed Kaspersky Security Cloud. How do I fix it?

Windows 10 Home edition just downloaded Cloud free 21.1.15.500 Chrome Version 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (64-bit) Yahoo front page won’t download and so is You tube. (haven’t checked other sites yet) tried to clear cache, self-defense disabled. still doesn’t work. removed Kaspersky extension from Chrome as well pages only loaded with AV paused any thoughts? thanks in advance! mod: edit version of the product.

I have two LANs, connected to each other by a permanent VPN. LAN1 is 192.168.255.0/26 and LAN2 is 192.168.254.0/26. With Kaspersky Security Cloud Firewall disabled on two computers, COMPUTER1 on LAN1 and COMPUTER2 on LAN2, the Windows 10 built-in firewall rules (which I have updated to allow File Sharing connections to/from both of the above networks) work correctly. That is, folders shared by COMPUTER1 may be accessed from COMPUTER2, and folders shared by COMPUTER2 may be accessed from COMPUTER1. If the Kaspersky Security Cloud Firewall is enabled on EITHER COMPUTER1 OR COMPUTER2 then no file sharing works at all between these two computers. I looked at the configuration…

Hello, I’m using kaspersky free and I’m trying to write some C code, and compile&run it. but while the program is compiling the code and create an .exe file, kaspersky terminates that process and says kaspersky has detected a threat. I tried to ignore that but everytime you run the code, it creates a new file, and kaspersky detects it again. Any ideas to solve this? Thanks.

I have just recived a popup telling me that my passwords have been leaked. Recently received notification that my data might have been leaked from 2 websites. The detection date was shown as 2015 (refer to attached png picture). However, I only started using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free within a year or less. Is this a false alert? I’m using the latest Windows 10 version.

hi, i was install kaspersky security cloud personal 21.1.15.500(c). i wanted to remove it. but it pop up an error. idk what is code but it says (ERROR: file is in using ) kaspersky could’nt remove its file which is in using. i redo the uninstallation progress. i try again to remove it. but once again it pop up error but now it says (some file is missing). what do i should to do now? i cant uninstall with its uninstall program.

So Kaspersky said that they wanted me to update some software. So i clicked update all and apperently Adobe Acrobat is still currently installing the update after 12 hours. Anyone know how i can fix this?

Recently I’ve noticed this annoying pop-up from Kaspersky Security Cloud Free: Theres no way to exit, you have to click one of the buttons and go through a process to exit it. This is not at all user friendly, I’d argue this advertising tactic is even worse than recieving multiple popups from Avast a week, which is the sole reason I left Avast. But yikes, popups with no exit button?

Each time PC powering on Kaspersky asking for what he need to do with Npcap Loopback Device - allow\disallow\block connections. This is annoying, how can this be fixed?

Sorry for bad eng. I just installed kaspersky security cloud and it conflicted with cloudflare warp. Kaspersky Secure Connection(VPN Service) is not installed. I set exceptions and trusted applications but issue still continues. Even though I stopped it protection. Warp works fine only if I exit kaspersky completely.

Hello I have Kaspersky Security Cloud, and the license I have allows me to protect 3 devices. One of the devices I would like to protect is from my mother, but she is not very fluent in English, so I would rather have her installation in Portuguese. Is it possible to have one of the devices installed in a different language (Portuguese) and the others in English? Thank you

Hello, Recently, I had to reinstall Kaspersky due to the release of the new FREE version. It’s now “Security Cloud” ( v 21.1.15.500(c) ). Since, the systray icon of Kaspersky stay grey and when hovering it, says “Launching in progress...” (in french “Lancement en cours...”). If I double click on it, it opens the UI correctly, and I can perform various actions in it. Still, the systray icon is worrying me : is Kaspersky completly loaded ? I try to install Kaspersky Security Cloud Free but returned error. I tried again using administrator rights, after that the os does not start - BSOD “critical service failed”. I try use “sfc /scannow”, did not help.

I switched from Total Security to Cloud. I also installed Safe Kids on several devices and it works fine but under licenses it still shows up under the old Total Security license that is expired. When I go to devices and try to add the Cloud license to the device it says the code could not be found. While all programs are working correct it is kind of annoying that the licenses dont show up correct. Stephan

I bought a 1 year subscription to Kaspersky Security Cloud, and want to renew it now while I know I can without undue stress. I know I will have job security and can meet essentials in the future, I don’t know if that includes a premium antivirus. So I feel I should purchase it now while I can. But I don’t want to do that if the subscription will start counting down immediately. I would only do that that if it was added to my current sub and began counting down immediately after my current sub ends…. I hope I am making sense. Any guidance from on high?

I’m using Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and after installing some basic programs programs (clean windows install) I noticed that HW virtualization is disabled. I have no Windows Hyper-V installed: However I have installed VirtualBox and Android Studio with Android Virtual Device. I’ve tried uninstalling them both, but It didn’t help. What should I do to enable HW Virtualization? VirtualBox works fine. It’s not Hardware issue.

Yesterday I’ve installed free antivirus, I haven’t changed default settings, today in the notifications I adviced a Delphi .exe file I’ve compiled in past was considered a virus and deleted. I really hope to find it, if not I’ll hate you for the rest of my life. I’m not sure I’ve a copy of that file and for sue not the surces to recompile. **WHERE IS IT?** Thank you for help
