The packaging / label shows: Activated at purchase - Install immediately - IF that's correct & the software was purchased 2009 / 2010 - the activation period will have ended. (You) can try to use the code but (ioo) it probably will not work. Read: What is the validity period of the activation code? : "The validity period of the activation code is the period during which you can activate the application with this code. If an activation code has never been applied to a computer, it has an unlimited validity period, unless otherwise stated on the box or website when purchasing. The term of the activation code starts counting from the first time it is activated. If the code is used on multiple devices, the term will begin when the code is applied on the first device." I have an old original copy of Kaspersky. I think I bought it in 2009 or 2010. I forget exactly when. But if I download it, can I activate it using the attached code? Does the CD come with an activation file or just the code?

So, You can now remove the exclusions created via Intrusion Prevention -> Manage Applications. Also, I would migrate Your KIS to Kaspersky Standard, KIS/KTS will eventually get obsolete.

Hallo @kaspwent, ja, TB=Thunderbird. Du brauchst es nicht zu installieren, aber irgendwann war es mal auf dem Rechner. Die hinterlassenen Reste werden wir auch so los. Kannst Du mit dem Windows-Explorer zum Verzeichnis "C:\Users\KHWENT\AppData\Roaming\" navigieren oder sperrt da was/ist nicht auffindbar? Falls es gelingt, müsstest Du ein Unterverzeichnis "Thunderbird" sehen können. Ist das da?

Добавил в исключения браузер и другие программы (причем установил «Не проверять весь трафик», а не только шифрованный) – не помогло, все начинает работать только если отключить в Касперском «Веб-антивирус». I added the browser and other programs to the exceptions (and set "Do not check all traffic", not just encrypted) – it did not help, everything starts working only if you disable Kaspersky's "Web Antivirus".

Sure I understand the "generic" support reply about non supported products. It was more a testimony for other like me having similar issue, I don't know if similar issue may still occur for latest Kaspersky line of products. Plus I was interested by some technical clarification about what occurred in those case that procedure fix the issue.

The generic nature of the bug pointed to more than root-cause, as per the Kaspersky experts. Since the bug/solution was posted in 2022, KAV has been discontinued & replaced by Kaspersky Standard -> Kaspersky release of this new generation software also resolves the bug, it's a free upgrade & (ioo) would be beneficial, read: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ, by Danila T. Thanks so much, it solves my problem. Suddenly MS Edge 136.0.3240.76 returns ERR_CONNECTION_RESET on almost all pages. At the same time no issue with other browsers like Chrome, Vivaldi, Opera and trying same urls having issue on MS Edge. The only way to make page load working again in Edge was to exit Kaspersky Antivirus 21.3.10.391 (m). Suspending protection, disabling Internet Antivirus module, disabling https analysis => nothing worked, only the total exit of KAV was OK. I did your list of operations, without the "4. shutdown part", and now all pages are loading find again in MS Edge. Thanks a lot For info, old report folder I renamed was 4.78GB, new one is only 3MB. Is there some instability after some time or possible corruption of rules ? Is there the self defense KAV module that suddenly targets some application like in my case MS Edge to work correctly ? When I observed in a process manager and reloading a page with ERR_CONNECTION_RESET issue, I saw a new msedge.exe sub process spawning but immediately closed, was it the result of self defense KAV module targeting it ?

You both can try to create an Exclusion for Scan Encrypted connections and 127.0.0.1. Go to Intrusion Prevention -> Manage Applications, find the executables / services involved, double click over them -> tab Exclusions, and create an exclusion as shown here: And Save changes.

Hallo @kaspwent, willkommen. Kaspersky (oder andere AVs) sollten nach Möglichkeit nichts an den TB-Datenbanken ändern. Es könnte zu einem Totalverlust aller Mails kommen. Anhand der Kaspersky-Meldung solltest Du aber Hinweise auf die Mail haben (empfangen 19.Nov.2023, Subjekt "WG:DUE ?Remittance...". Wenn Du sie manuell löscht (ist bereits im 'Trash'-Ordner) und danach den Ordner komprimierst, sollte die Meldung beim nächsten Scan nicht mehr auftauchen. Schau Dir bitte auch dieses Thema an, vielleicht hilft es zusätzlich:

там проблема в другом. Как выяснилось у ТС была подписка на KSC. С некоторых пор не надо ставить отдельно KSC на андроид если у тебя там уже установлен антивирус. Вот только антивирус при этом похоже надо удалить и установить заново. Или как минимум переподключить к аккаунту. Хотя я не проверял.

ну так и должно быть. ))) автор писал только про а в России KSС не входит в подписку Плюс. Поэтому если кому не нравятся ответы, пусть сам отвечает на свои вопросы, как ему нравятся.

я сейчас поставил себе Free версию на телефон. После подключения к аккаунту там появилась функция ВПН, поскольку в аккаунте есть подписка на KSC.

Добрый день, Кирилл. Я искренне не понимаю, что вам не понравилось в моих ответах. Я пытался понять детали. Дело том, что с использованием Secure Connection в России на андроиде есть много нюансов. Особенно когда он используется совместно с антивирусом. Причем эти нюансы менялись и плохо отражены в документации. Отсюда и возникают проблемы. Насколько я понимаю ситуацию на сегодняшний день, в вашем случае нужно сделать следующее: - удалить все устройства на андроиде из личного кабинета. - удалить все приложения Касперского на них. - установить на телефоне приложение Kaspersky (антивирус) и подключить его к личному кабинету. После этого на нем должна активироваться подписка Plus и появиться функция VPN. Если этого не произойдет, то надо общаться с техподдержкой (форум таковой не является). У них в частности есть чат, который работает каждый день с 8:00 до 20:00 по московскому времени. P.S. я, как и все модераторы на этом форуме, не работаю в компании. Я такой же пользователь, как и вы. P.P.S вышеописанное предполагает что в аккаунте есть подписки на Plus и на KSC
