Subscription Expired

I want to try the free trial for Safe Kids.  I have Kaspersky Pro.  My account says my safe kids subscription expired.
But I never used it before.  Why is there a subscription I never used, expired on my account?
How can I try the free pro trial?

Hello @Mightier Pen,

Welcome!

Kaspersky *Premium* includes Kaspersky Safe Kids *Premium*.

Because the image has blocked out information & an inactive subscription it's impossible to see clearly what's going on, please contact Kaspersky Customer Service https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts, on the support page select Email, fill in the template as shown, please provide a *detailed-history* & do not select the AI-Bot to submit the request:                                                                                                                                             image.thumb.png.bbcded23ec4ca9161ca3fea17b1d0ae4.png

I see on the Premium pricing page at the bottom it says Safe Kids one year free.  That explains it because I got the premium more than a year ago.  Guess I won't be getting the trial then.

Hello @MightierPen,

Thank you for posting back!

(ioo) it's still worth contacting Kaspersky Customer Service - Kaspersky Safe Kids offers a free 7-day Trial version, *maybe* they will agree to offer that - it's worth a shot - you have nothing to loose by asking.

Thank you🙏

I asked and they wouldn't give me any grace.   No Safe Kids for me.  😠

Looks like it's Danger Kids for me 😠😠😠

I want to put it on my computer for myself.  I will be both the parent and the child.  Since I have kaspersky premium I could just use the kaspersky premium to disable other internet filters, so I think that I should use safe kids.  I could put the safe kids password on paper only and store it away safely.  Does it have a seperate password from kaspersky premium?  Can kaspersky premium disable safe kids if I can login to premium?

  1. Does it have a separate password from Kaspersky premium?
  2. Can Kaspersky Premium disable Safe Kids if I can login to Premium?

Hello @Mightier Pen,

Welcome back!

  • Are you the same @MightierPen that last posted in this topic March 23rd 2026?
  1. To log into the MyKaspersky account & manage *both* Kaspersky Premium & Kaspersky Safe Kids the *same* email address that (you) used when (you) purchased the Kaspersky Premium subscription, is required
  2. The Kaspersky Premium *application* cannot disable any Kaspersky Safe Kids application features / options - the two applications are separate and have no interaction - the *only* association is both applications can be managed via (your) MyKaspersky account.

Thank you🙏

Yes it's me.  I decided to pay for a year of safe kids, as long as it works how I'm thinking.

I want to "self moderate" my internet use.  I can use any software that I want but I could use kaspersky premium to just block an internet filter from running, making that filter or software pointless to have.

So I was thinking to use Safe Kids, having its own password, and it can't be turned off without its own password.  You're telling me kaspersky premium can't turn off safe kids from the premium settings > security > manage applications ?

You say both can be managed with my kaspersky account.  Ok but not turned off, right?

The My Kaspersky password is different from the premium application password (when making changes) so I'm fine with being blocked out of My Kasperky, if I have to, but not if I can just turn off Safe Kids too.  ?

Hello @MightierPen,

Thank you for posting back!

As a *parent* with access to Kaspersky Premium application (you) can mess around with *how* KSK functions on the computer - READ:  Manage applications window image.thumb.png.4784c0be685fd24b4b399c6d0a8cbd53.png

BUT you will not be able to change / modify any KSK options / features that exist to control/protect the child - via the Kaspersky Premium application - those changes can ONLY be done via KSK application OR via MyK/KSK.

Because you plan to be both parent & child YOU are going to have to moderate YOUR use of both Kaspersky Premium & KSK -> IF YOU want KSK to assist YOU.

The KSK CHILD account MUST be set-up as a Windows LOCAL/STANDARD account - with no elevated permissions - it must have a password.

The KSK PARENT account MUST be set-up as a Windows ADMINISTRATOR account - with elevated permissions - it must have a password.

The MyKaspersky account is the portal that gives (you) access - via (your) email-address/password to Kaspersky Premium subscription management, device control, account control, KVPN ->when that's working again & whatever else comes with KP AND it also gives YOU as PARENT -> access to KSK engine room = Where is my child? Internet, Device use, Applications, Social networks, Child's devices, Profile, Summary, Reports -> the KID should NOT have access to the MyK portal nor to ANY KSK via the MyK portal. READ: Manage Kaspersky Safe Kids on My Kaspersky.

We can't exactly envisage how this will work for you, IF YOU as the parent is logged into MyK to check a subscription issue - for example - then all of a sudden YOUR inner-demon-child convinces YOU while you're logged into MyK to remove a FORBIDDEN rules bc it pisses them off....

and ALL of that is going on in ONE brain🧠

We suggest (you) install KSK, set up the parent & child accounts - as per the documentation & start experimenting until it's working optimally.

Install and uninstall the KSK application

Initial setup of Kaspersky Safe Kids

Thank you🙏

Ok.  I didn't know it needs a seperate windows account.  If it were an admin account that would be the max I would be willing to accept for this, but a standard account?  That's too much.

Parental software is legendary for being trigger happy with blocking legitimate websites.  I would want to add and take away a custom website list, which would be enough hassle as it is (adding time waster websites etc. to the list).  Having to login to an admin account to do basic computer tasks is way too much downside.

I just can't win.  😫  looks like no Safe Kids for me, I'm stuck with the Danger Kids 😫
Thanks for the helps anyway.
