OS: Windows 11 Home (Version: 24H2, OS Build: 26100.6584, Experienec: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.234.0) Kaspersky Anti-Virus version: 21.3.10.391 (m) Explanation: On 10th September Windows 11 installed an update and since then Chromium browsers (Chrome and Edge) are showing the attached screenshotted error on all websites except possibly Google-affiliated websites like google.com and youtube.com?! Firefox works fine. Also when I employ the fix I'll outline below I find that, even though I'm then able to access any website, I'm logged out of all websites and I'm having to agree to cookies all over again etc. as if I've never visited them, also all my extensions are disabled except the built-in Google Docs extension. I've run through it with ChatGPT for about 4 hours now trying an insane level of methods to fix the issue. I rolled back Windows updates, reinstalled them, checked proxy settings, reset Winsock and flushed DNS, cleared my SSL state, checked for corrupted updates (sfc /scannow + DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth) etc.etc.etc. I have not yet tried to reinstall Kaspersky. What I found fixed the issue was two things that have to be operated in tandem: (1) Opening Kaspersky -> Settings -> Network Settings -> Toggling "Do not scan encrypted network connections" (2) Completely pausing Kaspersky protection. It's got to the point where ChatGPT is all out of ideas. You're my last hope.

From *memory* - when we've purchased from 3pty-non-Kaspersky merchants, auto-renewal has not been automatically ON - *you* need to check the *detail* available on the 3pty-non-Kaspersky merchant site bc different merchants may have different requirements. Again, from memory, boxed versions have the Auto-renewal *option*, but not activated - please read the fine detail on the Box. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋

连的手机热点，手机之前中过远控，不排除病毒出现在卡巴斯基之前的情况，不过刚下的时候这两个功能都能用啊。本来买优选版就是为了防中间人攻击的，现在这个都被禁用了，我该怎么做去重新打开这个功能，会不会是需要打开地理位置？

Yes, it appears to be true, however, officially Kaspersky are not saying much about it - our formal enquiry in July 2025 - received this response from the Kaspersky expert team: "...regrettably, no details regarding Kaspersky Free that we could share at the moment. There is also no official statement." Reading thru some of the posts in the Russian section it may be possible to install the trial version, when that expires it switches to Free - we don't know if this is correct, we haven't tested it & we're not going to - Kaspersky could make a simple statement - not too much to ask. Additionally, the experts have today responded to an outstanding KFA document update request from March, 2024, as follows: "No fixes are planned as KFA Help is no longer updated. This is a free product without support." Which, ioo doesn't make sense bc KFA has *always* been a free product, without support, that didn't stop Kaspersky expert documentation team from keeping the doco current - in the past🤦‍♂️.
