  1. Hi all. Just looking for clarification. I was just looking at Eugene Kaspersky's twitter page and followed a link to his blog page and according to him there will be three levels of Kaspersky going forward. They will be Standard, Plus and Premium. He indicates that just AV will no longer be available. I see no mention of a Basic plan. It appears the Standard=KIS. Just want to be clear regarding the new offerings.
  2. Kaspersky collaborators are watching this Forum. I suspect that this is an attempt to be clever, however I feel you missed the mark.
  3. I have just found this thread regarding the new models of Kaspersky. If everything I am reading stays unchanged in the final version that is released in the US, I have some serious concerns. First is the inability to turn off certain features. That has always been one of the things I admired about Kaspersky. The idea of showing one's email address on the screen makes no sense at all. Perhaps one of the worst ideas is going to a subscription-based model. I understand from a business point of view, this helps with cash flow. However, from a consumer standpoint as one person has already pointed out, it is a bad idea. I hope from the input I have read here, that Kaspersky will reconsider these steps. If not, I feel I will have to recommend to my customers and clients that they remove Kaspersky and look elsewhere for their security needs. Please Kaspersky….reconsider these steps.
  4. Be advised that according to Kaspersky, disabling Script Injection will cause Safe Money and Private Browsing to not function properly among other components not functioning properly.
  5. Go to Kaspersky website, then to the download section and download KIS. Proceed with the install and when prompted, enter the activation code that came with your CD. Your software will be activated the date you install. Keep the disk incase you need to reinstall.
  6. Hover your mouse pointer over the green shield in your notification area in the right corner of your display and it will tell you your current version and revision letter. You can also right click the green shield and choose “About” and it will give you the same info.
  7. Followed instructions. www.chase.com still opens in unprotected browser🤔
  8. 1-Yes 2- Run Protected Browser 3-Edge 4-Edge 5-No Question-If I delete the Safe Browser folder and reboot, will KIS rebuild the SafeBrowser folder and not require a reinstall of the software? Should I exit KIS before deleting the folder?
  9. Hi Flood and thank you for responding. My screen looks identical to the screen shot you posted except I do not have the green border around mine. I have removed the site from Safe Money and then put it back in but it still will not open securely. Perhaps a setting I have that is different from yours. Any ideas?
  10. Are any other users still seeing this error? rd100, are you still seeing this error? This thread has been marked as Solved and it most clearly has not been resolved.
  11. UPDATE- Using version KIS 21.3.10.391(b) and this problem with the Chase bank site still exists. As stated previously, with the site listed in Safe Money and opening the site, Safe Money does not open the site securely. If you go into Safe Money and click the site listed in Safe Money, it will open the site that way. Clearly this error HAS NOT been fixed. Any input from Kaspersky employees would be appreciated.
  12. I am currently on KIS 21.2.16.590(C) and can confirm that this issue is still present with this version. Anyone have any further information as to an expected resolution of this issue?
  13. I could not agree with the OP more. I pay for the software and while I understand that I do not “own” the software, I DO own my computer. If I wish you continue to use a version that is say one version behind the current version so that I may wait and see how the newer version works on others computers or to install it on a non critical system for testing, that should be my decision, NOT the software manufacturer. I truly hope Kaspersky will rethink their decision in this matter.
  14. I can confirm that I am also experiencing the same results when attempting to access this website.
