HW based protection can’t be used while Windows Sandbox & Core Isolation are enabled, but I have heard that Windows 10 provided an api for other software co-exist with Hyper-V (VMware already supports that), when will Kaspersky support that?

I try to install Kaspersky Security Cloud Free but returned error. I tried again using administrator rights, after that the os does not start - BSOD “critical service failed”. I try use “sfc /scannow”, did not help.

Using Windows 7 I run Windows chkdsk utility and everything is ok. But when I run a Kaspersky Security Cloud (free) definition update chkdsk no longer works and it says a recently installed software is stopping it from working. This happens on all my Windows 7 machines. If I revert the drive to February chkdsk works fine but if I immediately then instal Kaspersky definitions update, and then run chkdsk again I get the error. Can someone advise if this is a known error. Thanks.

Hello I have few issues with KSC Personal. Hardware virtualization is not supported because I have Vmware Workstation installed. Is there a way to enable it? Ad banner is blocking many legit sites.It is not compatible with Edge Chromium. When sync is active it is constantly asking for my security key approval. Basically when installing Kaspersky I had to turn off Microsoft's Memory integrity for Kaspersky to run properly. However now that I have done that it seems that Security Notification center in Windows 11 Pro 22H2 is reporting it as a problem? I had assumed that installing KSC would inherit the memory integrity option and it would be reported correctly under Windows Security notification icon. I have attached screenshots concerning this issue. Also as a side note I have already submitted a report to Microsoft. Thanks

I downloaded and installed the latest Free Security Cloud and seemingly completed the install and software asked me to re-start to initiate coverage. When I hit the re-start button my system (Windows 7) showed me warning screen that it couldn’t start normally…. said that it failed to start and said I needed to repair for it to start.. I proceeded and my system automatically went to my last restore point….deleted my recent Kaspersky install and started Windows without problems….but no Kaspersky, fortunately I had a good restore point. I tried the whole download/install process again thinking I must have done something wrong…..same thing, won’t strart normally…..not e…

There are a number of old posts about this, but it has not been resolved. My FE is set to display extensions and it does. Why does KSC think they are not displayed? How can I disable the autoscan of an external drive? My problem with this is that KSC launches dozens of prompts, with the laptop closed. And if I don’t have the laptop connected to the charger, the battery dies. My computer is new and the battery lasts for a very long time, so in fact KSC is making my PC underperform. I have: Windows 10 Home x64 Build 19042 KSC version: 21.2.16.590 (b) on a: ASUS NT3D54P6 AMD Ryzen 5 4500U The external drive is connected to my laptop using a Lenovo mini usb dock. The problem happens even if I “remove safely” the drive before closing the lid.

Can anyone tell me how to uninstall Kaspersky security cloud? This thing is like a virus. It keeps hanging up and I have to keep rebooting so I decided to uninstall it and move to a different vendor, but you cannot even uninstall it! If you go to windows control panel …. programs and features …. kaspersky → uninstall a dialogue opens up “preparing for installation” and it hangs up again. This is hands down the WORSE software integration with Windows 10 I have every experienced. Is there a Kaspersly tool that I can use to uninstall the product given it CANNOT be uninstalled by windows 10?

I've got a WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) and the SSL certificates can't be verified in Ubuntu for any HTTPS connections, e.g. by curl. This is likely because Kaspersky inspects the packets, then replaces the certificate on them, and effectively acts as a "man in the middle", which is why Ubuntu rejects those packets. What I gather I need to do is get a CA file from the Kaspersky gateway which signs those certificates and add it to the trusted CA list. Ideally, Kaspersky should do it on its own during installation. I'm not sure how to do that. I don't know where to get the CA file on Windows, nor how to add it on Linux. I'd appreciate any help.

As I started using Kaspersky Security Cloud, I've noticed that YouTube audio is affected by the software. The volume is lowered sometimes on the video, than it's up again. Does anyone have the same problem as me?

Can’t use Youtube properly since I upgraded to Kaspersky Security Cloud - current version 21.2.16.590 with Firefox. YT keeps saying I am not logged in and trying to update anything in studio is impossible. Seems to be better with Edge but sill has some issues - won’t let me update description on videos in studio.
