Kaspersky Password Manager

Greetings, KPM hasn't worked for me on some sites for a while now. For one thing, I created an account to access the modem, but accessing the modem near the credential fields no longer appears the KPM key symbol and yet I repeat before it worked when entering in the password archive there is still this account with the credentials. Can anyone give me some pointers? Thank you Enzo

Hello. I’m having an issue similar to the one mentioned on the page Incorrect message for premium subscription. | Kaspersky Community. For me, I believe I first noticed the issue this past Monday. I could be wrong, though. I do know that Wednesday night, I basically said to heck with it, and chose to utilize the free version. Once I chose the free version, I chose the 15 entries I felt I’d want to use. Since choosing the 15 entries, I have been able to use Kaspersky Password Manager (with the limits of the free version). Hello I am new to KPM, I installed it together with Total Security, I was interested in using it, so I imported my passwords from Google Chrome and now Sync and it is taking too long. In total there are 1500 passwords I would like to know if there is any estimate, I saw that it is a "know issues" that could take some time the first time when doing the sync, but it already took more than 25h and still not finished. I have also tried rebooting, creating another vault, re-importing and reinstalling, but all attempts took about 10 hours. It is using 3~4% of the processor:

I have kaspersky premium subscription. and after i renew my subscription kaspersky password manager show no password any more. I have a super internet connection. But I cannot Sync my kaspersky password manager on my Pc. Its shows unable to sync. I try complete uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky Password Manager but its not working. Kindly need your help. I would like to give my kids their own login and passwords and I need to be the main admin to the vault, how can I do this?

When using any browser (tested in Chrome, Firefox or Edge) and accessing a login page, the KPM browser extensions suggests login credentials that are not for that website or even the same domain. Several times the credentials suggested include a bunch of options and it is difficult to figure out which one is the correct. When I open the application and search for the website credentials, it only shows me the ones that are right for that website or domain. Please see images for visualization of the problem.

I’m using the latest version of Zen Browser and facing an issue with the Kaspersky Password Manager extension. Even though I install the extension and grant the necessary permissions, it gets installed but doesn’t work properly. I’ve tried the same steps in Firefox and it works fine there. I’ve realized that the issue is with Zen Browser. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? I hope the necessary updates will be released soon. I currently don’t have any idea how to fix this.

When you have multiple accounts for a website saved in the Kaspersky Password Manager and you try to login to the site. You see on the top of the list the newest Account and at the end of the list the older account that you made. Personal for me it would be better, of the list would not be sorted by the Date of making the accounts, in stat it would be better if it would be sorted by the use of the accounts. I don't know if this would be just an improvement for me or for more of you guys, please give me feedback how you like the idea?

I’m in the process of evaluating KPM in order to decide if I should buy it or not and I’ve hit a major roadblock: while on the PC you have to type your master password only once at startup, on android the maximum timeout allowed is ten minutes! I get that there’s a security risk in case you lose your device, but not all Android devices are outdoor devices (think about tablets), and not all PCs stay at home only (laptops and such). As I was saying, after ten minutes you have to re-type your password all over again, this led me to think of changing my master password into something shorter and simpler, but this would kind of defeat the (security) purpose of a password mana…

Good afternoon, two days ago I downloaded KTS Beta and it works perfectly. But when downloading Kaspersky Password Manager, it tells me that the beta version has expired. I do not understand why it tells me it's expired and I can not enjoy the 92 days off if I just registered for a new account. On the other hand KTS Beta if you leave me the 92 days free trial. I contacted Kaspersky technical support and its response has been that, since it is a beta version, it is out of Kaspersky's technical support coverage. Can anybody help me? Thank you. So, I went to the site to change the main password and it wouldn't leave the page, it just froze there, it wasn't a problem with my net. now I'm trying to access the vault, I can't even change the main password, which is the same, or make the backup through the windows app. the question is? backing up to create a new vault? will it restore the authenticator codes too? or just the passwords? take a look at the images ...

I downloaded a free trial version of Kaspersky Total Security and a Password Manager together with it. When I want to add an entry for some program, only Skype and Steam are shown. That’s ok, but I can’t add more programs by clicking the button “Обзор” on the right side, see the screenshot (I have a Russian version, I guess it will be something like “Browse” in English). When I click it nothing happens. Same thing with adding PDF files to encrypt them. Is this because of a trial version? What could be the reason? Thanks for the help.

/edit: KPM version 9.0.2.21093 (u) / 1642492778_7130 / 1.0.523.0-0.8.3.0_1 Win version 21H1 (Build 19043.1466) / Problem with KBM and locally hosted stuff since my ip adress is always the same or just using localhost:port Im hosting a variety of stuff locally and the only difference in their address is the port. But when adding those as IP or Localhost it wont give me an option to set an “authentication scope” so every now and then i accidentally override a Password since KPM does not distinguish those different “websites” / browser based applications Is there any way i can force KPM to acknowledge them as unique adresses.

Hi there, I currently have Kaspersky Total Security with a paid license for 5 devices. 2 of 5 devices are owned by my spouse. I would like to know if it is possible to set up a different vault for each of us or the only option is to have the same vault for both of us?

Hello, There is a mildly frustrating bug that occurs when I am not signed into Kaspersky Password Manager (KPM). I will be browsing Chrome and the KPM icon in the top right will shake then "tab out" of the current window forcing me to click back into Chrome to resume browsing. This happens on any site where a sign-in is required, regardless of if I have an account with them or not. I don't always need to be signed into KPM but when I am it's because I need to be. – – Blessings

I took a photo of a phones details (IMEI & SN) , photo stored on phone memory (eg Downloads folder). I try to get JPG photo into KPM via Add/Document. KPM takes me to folder listing per usual, I navigate to Downloads, get listing of files there. My new JPG NOT included in listing, just older files/documents…. Have to use my Win10 KPM to import document!? This is far too major a bug to be left in place.

This has been around since the beginning of KPM, simply put, if you search for an entry in KPM, open an entry, edit it, and then save it, KPM will “refresh” and then you have to search for it again if you wish to view it or click on another entry in the search results. If you’re like me, I often search for, lets say, a password entry, then I open it, make a small edit to it and then I press save. Then I would LIKE to click on either the same entry or another entry that also showed up in the search results, but the annoying thing is, I have to search for it again because it “refreshes” each time you save an entry. Hi! I have noticed the app can't update itself anymore. The app used to auto-update before a certain version which I think broke it. I don't know when exactly the function disappeared though. The problem is that the app does not have the "update" function anymore. It used to be under "Advanced". There was also some settings somewhere but I can't find them anymore. My KPM for Windows version is 10.2.0.341 / 1667763902_7297 / 1.0.523.0-0.8.3.0_1, installed manually today. Am I the only one with this issue? Hi there, I’ve just swapped over from a free trial to a 3-device subscription & now KPM is giving an activation error. Can you please do the below to open it up from 1-device to 3-devices. “I suppose, that your license has only one KPM account and you are trying to activate it for two or more accounts, or KPM was activated for another account previously, We need to check it and unbind KPM from the old account”

I am logged as you can see on the taskbar but extension is greyed out (See screenshot) Also when i try log in via extension in browser it gives me Incorrect master password but is correct (see screenshot). All worked good but i dont know what has happened (maybe update browsers)? KPM 9.0.2.14151 (n) FF 84.0.2 (probably problems with version 84) Edge 87.0.664.75 On the taskbar logged on browser not.
