Kaspersky Internet Security

Hello, I have one old computer for my in-laws. I would like ton install one Linux distribution on their computer. I think to the last Opensuse distribution. As I usually use kaspersky solution center for my personal use I would like to know if I can install kasperky security center on the Linux distribution ?

I have been using Safe Money to open bank websites for years and it has always worked well. Today when I try to open any bank website in the Protected Browser I get a message saying "Run error: Failed to run Protected Browser. Reason: Process was stopped." I am in Firefox, Windows 11 24H2 64-bit, Kaspersky Internet Security v. 21.3.10.391(m) databases are up to date. Subscription: Active Paid until: Feb 16, 2026 Remaining days: 284 Please advise.

i need help, i installed a license, windows crushed and i installed back windows. installed karspersky again but it says "license already used" what can i do t recover my license?

I want to keep the old interface, even though I downloaded the old version and activated the key on it. After 10 days, it appeared to me that there will be an update in the background for the new interface. Please keep the old one.... First, the new one is similar to many similar antiviruses and is also very slow. The old one is much faster.

I had to reinstall Windows on my second computer so I did a clean install on a new drive. When I installed Kaspersky I found when I right click on the task bar icon the options are different from my main computer, particularly the Pause Protection option is not available. How do I fix this?

Kasperky blocked several applications from accessing the internet, including Citrix which I use to work from home. Just "Disabling" it didn't solve anything. Was forced to uninstall it to be able to work. I want to use Kasperky, but not if it blocks other programs from working properly. Question: How can I narrow down what the issue is?

Have had Kaspersky Internet Security for 4 years without issues. Today Notification Center says "Databases are extremely out of date". They are set to update automatically. If I click Update, it attempts to update but the message does not change. The Database Update screen says "Last Update: Less than a minute ago." Windows also displays an alert that my Kaspersky security is out of date. Running Windows 11 Pro (updated Feb 2025) on HP Spectre x360 laptop.

So uninstalling "Internet security" 21.3.10.391 to re install "Standard". All went well on first two laptops, windows 11 standard "add/remove" worked as it should, installed Standard as expected, all good. Third desktop office PC left till last (as most important) ran windows uninstaller, stuck with green bar at 100%. waited one hour, then clicked "cancel" and tried to "restart". KIS keeps blocking smtp port 465. Is there a smart way around this than re-installing

I am facing a problem activating the license, which is supposed to be for four devices, but when I add it to the third device, the program refuses to activate, leaving only two devices connected to the same license.

For the last weeks, I'm unable to access the Steam Store, Community or XBox App games, I'm getting an error saying I'm not connecto to Internet. If I pause Internet Security protection, everything works as intended, but it's nothing I plan to do. I've tried adding the Steam app as a trusted app, as well as the steam DNS, but it doesn't works. What do I need to configure so I can play Steam and XBox games without disabling my firewall?

For years, all my settings in KIS have been the same, and I never change them. Today, I wanted to check some of them and found my KIS unresponsive. I can open settings and browse through the options, but as soon as I click on some of them, it stops responding. For example, settings -> mail antivirus settings -> attachment filter -> configure attachment filter, and then it stops responding. I can only close the window by clicking the "x". When I try to open the window again by double-clicking the KIS icon in the tray, it shows in the taskbar, but no window opens on the desktop. I upgraded today from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and the Kaspersky Internet Security which was installed with Windows 10 got erased from computer. Before installing the Windows 11, I thought I saved from my installation of Kaspersky the key, but it seems I saved the license number, as is longer and I cannot activate a new copy of KIS. Is anyway to retrieve back my activation key, if I have the license number? Thank you!

Recently I moved a few applications from Trusted to Restricted, and now I am receiving too many "Suspicious activity is blocked" notifications; it’s flooding my notification center and distracting me while I’m doing other tasks and becomes really annoying. So, please, tell me: how can I turn off only this type of notification while keeping other notifications which are really important visible? I can't find any option to turn off just this one. I just renewed my license for $39...entered my activation code. But the status remained "expired". You can see the date 10th Mar 2025. When I clicked renew license, it brings me to a page saying that my current version of kaspersky internet security is no longer available and asked me to get the Plus version at $49. Kaspersky should not charge me for something which is no longer available. I would like to have a refund on my $39 before I pay $49 for the Plus version. Kindly help on this.

KIS 21.3.10.391(m) on Windows 11 Pro, fully updated. Since 17/1 some MS services will not communicate to their servers. Including Outlook desktop/Copilot/One Drive/Teams. Does not apply to the same apps running in a browser. Pausing KIS initially did not appear to change behaviour but after running MS defender and pausing KIS again, apps can communicate until KIS is switched on. A recent windows update on 16/1 (24H2) was done just before issues appeared.Issues appear to relate to server authentication.No error logs from KIS,no sensible error messaages from the O/S. it's such a beautiful thing. i finally learned how to use it after 7 years. my firewall is impenetrable. i approve and can see everything. but im in the US. with 90 days left. i hope i can somehow figure out how to keep using it. i blocked microsoft edge because i never use it and nvidia container and anything else, crapware. even back in the day trying to get under 30% memory usage was hard. Since update to the latest version, my computer is slowing down substantially. Especially when I open Outlook or open a browser (Firefox or Chrome), the power usage would jump to as very high and the CPU would be up to 60%. Generally the CPU would be around 30% or 40% when I did not have anything open or running. I am running Windows 10 prof and I am a paid customer of Kaspersky Internet Security. Please advise how to fix this problem.

Every time I try and activate Ad Banner - Out of Sight and make my browsing private. I am taken to Safari extensions where I am supposed to see Kaspersky extensions but I do not.
