Why a basic product needs minimum password requirements?

Why a basic product, intended for home use needs to have minimum password requirements? It is really bothersome for some people. I use 7-digit pins that I will never forget in most my apps and logins. I do not want to use a full passcode on my kaspersky installation. I intend to protect the settings from just the other laptop users. WHY, do I have to use capitals and letters to this particular code. Its the FREE, basic, core version! In endpoint security for workstations it is totally acceptable (you have, and should to protect the computer at all costs).

Hello bill88t, Additional to Berny & kmscom, KAV Free, can be used without a password, it's not mandatory, however, as per the advice in the link shared with you by kmscom , it's recommended. Best regards.
