Hello, i found out, kaspersky stored scan report in some of these files,

C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\Report\report.rpt
C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\Report\g_objdt.dat

the problem is i want to see the scan report, but the files are in binary format. I know i can export da detection directly from the gui, but i was wonder is there any  chance to see the  log report directly in  the file?

Im using KAV trial version so far.

Hello @newuser132

Welcome!

  1. No, the .dat files can be accessed via a text editor; .rpt is not an output file. Kaspersky reports are accessible via the application GUI - Reports section; read:  Reports window
  2. KAV 21.3 - is Kaspersky's *old* software, it's been replaced by Kaspersky Standard, the upgrade is *free*; also Kaspersky is up to v21.20; update the Kaspersky software -> as (you're) using a Kaspersky Trial subscription there would be no charge anyway; read: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ, by Danila T.
  3. Download Kaspersky Standard *Trial* from:  https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#compare-table                            image.thumb.png.c04bc65e1fb746b4de39d9239757da9c.png
