Kaspersky free sign in problem?

I just installed kaspersky free on my windows 10 pc and created a my kaspersky account and after the installation I entered my email and password but i still can't successfully sign in because the app wants me to enter a 20 character long activation code? I went to my kaspersky account page clicked on send activation code but the email from kaspersky says '' You have no activation codes or applications connected to your account.''  

How can I sing in to my free kaspersky antivirus and activate and start using the app?  thanks.

it doesn't work. i clicked add device but it downloaded another file? what is it another setup exe file? i already installed kaspersky free but i cant sing in even though i correctly enter my email and password. after i enter my password it wants me to enter activation code??

When you login the my kaspersky account via https://my.kaspersky.com/ , What's the situation in https://my.kaspersky.com/MyDevices and https://my.kaspersky.com/MyLicenses .

There has a device which you have installed Kaspersky free in My Devices before. right?

Does the orginal activation code for Kaspersky Free is invalid, right? I think if yes, you should install kaspersky security cloud free instead.
