So I got this confirmation on the 1st of February 2025 that I successfully renewed my subscription Premium for 5 devices. 

Just today I had Windows 11 installed upon two of the laptops for which I purchased the Kaspersky subscription. On one of  those laptops the Kaspersky system came back of itself, and I could re-install it. Note that I did NOT receive an activation code. The email I got upon renewal explicitly stated that activation codes or keys were not handed out. 

Just three hours ago I am told on my Lenovo, so the third laptop for the ACTIVE subscription, that I have NO active subscription!! I cannot even ask for help, not chat, nor email because I need to enter an activation code, which I never got, Great Catch-22!

It seems I paid 70 euro to be dragged into this insane Kafkaesque mess. Wonderful. Sooook, I cannot get any support because I have no activation code, but I need an activation code for support.

What kind of a company is this?

Welcome!

  1. When filling in the support request template -> Activation code OR *License Key* is accepted:             image.thumb.png.c0c1252e771df38776e832d696ae6f23.png
  2. In the *installed* Kaspersky Premium *application*, select the Headset🎧 icon, in the lower-left-hand-side-of the GUI, to open the Customer Service Window - the *Kaspersky Premium License Key* is shown on the *first-line*. READ: Where to find a license key for Kaspersky Standard, Plus, Premium
  3. In (your) MyKaspersky account, go to (your) Premium subscription: https://my.kaspersky.com/MyLicenses#/portal/pages/licenses - scroll to the very bottom, select Additional info -> the *Kaspersky Premium License Key* is shown on the third line (A) & can be copied (B) - making it much easier to use it for the support request - than manually typing it into the field (ioo)                                                                                           image.thumb.png.c44d6cef91f1330995a83dea605ec95e.png
  4. For *all* Kaspersky subscriptions/renewals - purchased from Kaspersky websites, their new generation software - activation-codes have been replaced by License Keys, refer: Where to find the activation code for Kaspersky Standard, Plus, Premium:
    Kaspersky Standard, Plus, and Premium do not require activation codes. After purchasing on the Kaspersky website, the subscription / License Key will be automatically added to your My Kaspersky account.
  5. AFTER *installing* the software - the application must be signed into with the same email address that was used to purchase/renew the subscription, so the application & (your) MyKaspersky account/License Key can synchronise.

Sorry, but i am completey upset, ca n bare;y type. 

The directions are overwhelming, i cn't handle all this - somehow i found thi s  licenc ekey and sent a messa to support.

Only other activationcode is for kaspersky kid, but i never signe up dor that.

It says somewhere: Kaspersky Standard, Plus, and Premium do not require activation codes.

Then why must I put one in what is this what is this totally incomprehensible, Kafka.

Thank you fo support, veery nice of you. now i deleting kspersky from my laptops - i must get out this nightmare

I jus cannot understand this about the activation code because it says everywhere that activation codes ARE NOT LONGER PROVIDED. 
wHAT THen is this nonsensical requirement to add an actvation key after installin the software on my Lenovo?????????

The new product line can be activated also by activation code, but only in case it does not detect an active Subscription via linking with Your My Kaspersky user / password account.

 

New Subscriptions acquired online do not require activation code, all is managed via connecting the installed product with Your My Kaspersky user / passw You used to buy the Subscription.

Flood and Flood's wife, Harlan4096, Berny - please accept my apologies. I had a complete meltdown. Can't handle this type of situations, I come apart.

Anyway, THANK YOU Flood for your extensive explanations - I managed to comprehend some of it.

Response to Berny : Just tried that, no joy. Repetition of what happens when I try to install Kaspersky .exe already on my laptop.

Thank you for posting back & the information!

So sorry to not respond earlier, we had to be away attending to other issues.  

***(your) Premium subscription covers Premium Support Services, Expert Installation Services - which includes: 

Whenever you have an installation problem on your computer, you can call us and the Kaspersky expert will remotely:

-> run the installation via remote connection.
-> make sure the installation progress is error free.
-> provide an overview of settings and features of the application.
-> answer all your questions about the application and the installation process.
-> adjust the application settings based on your needs.
-> confirm the application is installed, set up correctly and working properly.

  1. The screen that's asking for the Activation code - are you able to scroll right to the bottom of that screen - IF the answer is 'yes', is there a field to enter (your) email address? IF 'yes' - enter the *same* email address (you) use for (your) MyKaspersky account, where the Premium subscription is. The *installed* Kaspersky software & (your) MyKaspersky account need to synchronise - the *activation process* takes place when the application & (your) MyKaspersky account *connect*            image.thumb.png.5ac7a3ddb7b98c69bc0a39b3d4df806b.png
  • **IF this screen above is *not* the problem - can you post a screen-print of the screen where (you're) stuck so we can see what you see please?**
  • On (your) computer where Kaspersky Premium is installed & working - (you) should be able to see (your) email address(A)- above the words Subscription is active - that's the same email address that (you) use to sign into (your) MyKaspersky account, where there License Key is. For *each* successful installation of the Premium software - this is what you need to see    (we've hidden our email-address for privacy)image.thumb.png.2db448c3f4d574492ed8edf4275a27bc.png
     
  • Kaspersky Safe Kids *comes* with (your) Kaspersky Premium Subscription (you) may not have signed up for it, but (you) have paid for it, it's included in the package.

If i remember well, when you buy Kaspersky Premium you get - only for the first purchase - a license for Kaspersky Safe Kids as a gift.

Thank you kindly for your attention to my case, no need to apologize. 

I just attempted to install Kaspersky on the "problem" laptop (well, it's not the lappy that's problematic) and then I get a succession of screens, but not the one you refer to - comparable but not the same is this window, see screenshot below.

To be sure, on one of the many many account pages (which is very confusing in itself)it says loud and clear that my subscription is "active";

("No activation code? Purchase a subscription!" Hahaaa, that's a good one - pardon my sarcasm but my upsetness has morphed seamlessly with big anger.)
