I would like some help with this message that keeps popping up every time I start my computer, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software three times and it always reappears, the message says "The previous startup of the application failed" and a report has to be sent , I already sent the report that the message asks for but even so it reappears, I wanted support for this and in the application settings there is no function that disables sending data, and at the time of installation I unchecked the option sending data to report, I request clarification on the matter...

Advice and Solutions (Forum Knowledgebase) Disclaimer. Read before using materials. In cases when you need to diagnose an intermittent network issue, or capture an event that occurs only once in a while, you may need to use ring-buffer mode in Wireshark. In this mode, the number and overall size of the capture files will be fixed and when the limit will be reached, the newest data will start continuously overwrite the oldest data in the capture buffer. Below, you will find instructions for how to configure this capture mode: Download and install Wireshark from the official website, if you have not done that already. Launch Wireshark and click Capture options. On the Input tab, uncheck option Enable promiscuous mode on all interfaces and select interfaces from which you want to capture traffic. If you are not sure which ones to select, look at the graphs in the Traffic column to determine which interfaces are active and select all of them. If you are completely lost, you can also select all interfaces. On the Output tab you configure where the resulting files will be saved, the ring buffer capture is also configured here. It's a good idea to create a separate folder to store the capture files. The screenshot below shows optimal configuration for the capture settings. Note that the space occupied by the capture files will be equal to the size of a single capture file multiplied by the number of files in the ring buffer. In our example it's 500 MB * 8 = 4000 MB, which is the optimal size to upload to Company Account portal. You can modify these parameters to allocate more or less space for the capture files, though we don't recommend making it less than 2 GB. Use of compression is optional. With it, more data can be stored within the same file size, but it also can increase load on the CPU. Disable this option in case of performance problems. When everything is configured, click Start to start the capture. Please, pay attention that when capturing traffic in the ring buffer mode, it's very important to monitor for the occurrence of the event that you need to record and disable capture as soon as possible after the event has occurred, otherwise the relevant part of the capture may be overwritten. The timing is especially important, when using smaller sizes of the buffer. When the capture is finished, click Stop capturing packets, then Close this capture file. Pack the resulting files into an archive and upload it to your Company Account.

Simple. In my case, switching between languages is done with Ctrl+Fn+F12 and Ctrl+Fn+F5 when you are on the main screen of Kaspersky Standard. (The official advice from Kaspersky was Ctrl+F12 and Ctrl+F5, but for my keyboard an additional "Fn" press was required). Please try this.

We first raised the issue with HQ experts in 2022, their final resolution came thru Feb 29th 2024, as follows: "You may find the SM documentation below in the section "About protection against screenshots" mentioning that screen capture with spyware is not possible: About protection of financial transactions and online purchases. In this case, only software based screen capture activities are blocked. The ability to take a screenshot is only possible by physically pressing the "PrtScr" key when it is needed by the user at the computer. It is also mentioned elsewhere in the "On-Screen Keyboard" section that screen capture using the "PrtScr" key cannot be prevented: About On-Screen Keyboard." We checked, the same information is also documented for v21.3 & the function worked as per design (for us), for that version too. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋

i am unable to launch any game apps while the program is active. After disabling it, i can launch it again. i have tried messing with the firewall but that doesn't seem to be the issue. How can i launch games while the program remains active

I bought kaspersky total last year on an old xps 15 9550 with windows 10 pro laptop. When I used it, I had a huge issue where my keyboard didn't work at all. I use it connected to 2 external monitors and use a wired keyboard. Neither my external keyboard nor my laptop keyboard worked. I then did a lot of trial and error in kaspersky total settings and then somehow my keyboard worked. After that, I don't recall it having the issue with the keyboard not typing. My main concern here was because I use bitlocker and it required a pin at startup and then ask for a windows 10 password, that would still meant If i powered on the laptop, I could still type my bitlocker pin and windows password to get in right? Now just recently, I purchased a new windows 11 pro laptop. I installed kaspersky total on it and also moved the settings from the old windows 10 pro laptop to the new windows 11 pro laptop. I exported and imported the kaspersky file to the new windows 11 pro laptop. Just recently, my keyboard didn't work. Not only that, when I used my wireless mouse to click on icons on my desktop... it was right clicking. I think I had the same exact issue last year when I first got kaspersky total as I mentioned the above example in my 1st paragraph. I then did a full scan and it was fine. I then decided to pause kaspersky, and once I did that, my keyboard worked again and so did my mouse clicking. I then resumed kaspersky total and keyboard and wireless mouse works. Now can you tell me what exactly triggered this? What setting in my kaspersky sometimes causes my keyboard to not work? This makes me want to just pause kaspersky and use the microsoft windows defender that comes with windows. My bigger concern however was let say my laptop went to sleep and I needed to enter my local account password to get in to my desktop. How would I even do that if I can't type at all with my keyboard? I would have to shut down and restart my laptop as my only alternative right? Now in this situation, my keyboard would still work at startup right? Because I have bitlocker enabled on windows 11 pro so I need to enter my bitlocker pin and then my local account password to get into my desktop. So would I been stuck where I would need to do a clean reinstall if it got to this situation? Or my keyboard has to work at startup when it shows bitlocker screen?

Hello guys, Currently i am running Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 22H2 Build SO: 19045 with latest Microsoft Windows 10 updates. I was using Kaspersky Cloud Free as my antivirus. Yesterday i received an update for my anti-virus for the newest Version 21.9.6.465. I cannot open On-Screen Keyboard even if i press the shortcut keys CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+P. I also uninstall the antivirus completely and remove all leftovers. I also Uninstall only one of my web browsers Mozilla Firefox I downloaded the latest version available on the global website from Kaspersky and from My Kaspersky (Downloads). The version is the right one for European countries. If you remember well i already faced this problem in the past. But on that time Seem's there isn't any version available for European countries, so the resolution was removing completely Kaspersky free from my system and install the Kaspersky Security Cloud Free. I think I will make the same when you find a solution, please tell me OK! I did a Microsoft Windows Clean install on March 30, 2023. I am running out of ideas to fix the problem! I use Home Banking a Lot i need my On-Screen Keyboard to put the Password instead of Physical Keyboard. I think it's safer! But if nothing of this works in either Browser I will be forced to downgrade. But i also think that sooner or later my anti-virus will want to make the upgrade happen again. I left my computer alone for two weeks, When I returned my Kaspersky icons had disappeared from my desktop. Kaspersky still appears to be running but I cannot launch it from the apps list and get the same annoying dialogue as the original poster. Kaspersky also cannot open the secure browser to my Bank or other financial sites. I have tried downloading Microsoft.net framework and reinstalling it but this achieves nothing either. Is this some monkey business from Microsoft?

Good choice. Apparently senility is contagious. I'm 75, been using KAV since it came out. I was hoping the dementos fog wouldn't reach to Colorado, but apparently it's being flown in with H5N1 vectors. At any rate, I came here to find out why I have a California download available but not a US since, in the US, practically, California is not attached to anything. Didn't know about the dementia-elosi-lensky outbreak at the Department of Commerce. Explains the choices. Downloaded the Global and the California and they have different filenames and sizes, by 100k no less. Presumed the extra 100k was languages but it turns out California is the larger one. My normal paranoidity presumes so Google can embed privacy breaking products, but that's just me. I do note, that since Google is now embedded in the website and other platform downloads, I should grow curious as to whether the Department of Commerce feels it's powerful enough to instruct Google to not download Kaspersky products or provide information on it's webpages, or hcaptcha security checks and, thus, cut Google's profit margins. If Kaspersky lawyers were used to US current insanity they would ask Google to sue for interference with global and interstate commerce . Court battle would be quick since Google doesn't hesitate to bribe judges. Anyway, after the above stream-of-consciousness. Anyone know if it's possible to download KAV products for android, mac, linux, and windows off the Google platform and onto something like fDroid?

windows 8.1 Kaspersy total security 21.3.10.391 (h) device used: Laptop. until a couple of weeks ago my virtual keyboard worked fine. now when I use it, it will not close down, it will only close when I shut down safe banking completely. I have tried using it in other browsers, firefox, chrome, brave, duckduckgo but that makes no difference. It is very annoying as it blocks the page I'm using when doing my banking.

If you can put the answers in the points that are mentioned, it will be better for understanding. 1- We know that there is a way to manually update the Kaspersky database so that it can be updated manually, so far so good, now I wanted to know "How do I prevent the Kaspersky product version from being updated automatically?" 2- If there is any way to disable automatic updating of the Kaspersky version, could you provide a step-by-step guide? 3- I see that the vast majority of Antivirus products on the market have this option to update the product version when the customer wants to do so. Examples of antiviruses are AVAST, ESET, BITDEFENDER and others. 4- I see that other products on the market like Avast always launch a new version of their product every month. Hello everyone, After I updated Kaspersky Free to the latest version my keyboard stopped working. I tried many solutions but nothing worked. Please help.

I kept using your product even after i realized you charge more to the people renewing the licenses than the new buyers (i guess you think old customers are there to be milked)... I kept using your product even after i realized your servers were still inside Ruzzia even after you announced you left that bog (it was already paid, the damage was done).... I kept using your product even after your "quick scan" was shutting down my pc, and so often that it even ended up roasting my SSD (sent all of the evidence i had to support, mostly circumstantial mind you, even with a video and they couldn't believe it was their fault). But the last straw was having my pc restart constantly and without warning, completely randomly, and just because enabling the VPN (no logs, no nothing, not even system dumps!, months and months troubleshooting, I only made the connection that the pc was crashing/hanging/restarting ONLY AFTER i enabled the VPN and not at a set time but randomly afterwards, even if it wasn't already running... uninstalled and the pc has not restarted ever again since, ¿what the hell else are you doing to my pc that i don't know of?). You had a good product, the competition probably is not as good as your product, but it is definitely good enough to make the jump and just leave these licenses unused. I am trying really hard not to express all the expletives i think you deserve, but you just are not worth my time anymore.

I could had a quick scan running on safe mode hard crash my system on demand, i even sent them the video. But sure, it is not destabilizing. And now my system is still not restarting randomly, i wonder why it is stable now.... So typing this was a massive waste of time. Thank you anyways. I bet Kaspersky is also grateful for your free service.

After I installed the antivirus it just FULLY DISABLE my keyboard and any keyboard even USB. I can't use the keyboard other than the virtual one... I need to re-enable this URGENT, I need my keyboard working on my notebook, I need this working Don't show me links, because all the links I found are either with an old version of the antivirus, or are on any other subject once again, after installing the antivirus, my keyboard on my notebook WAS TOTALLY DISABLE, IT IS DEAD, AS IF IT WAS TURNED OFF, NOT EVEN CAPSLOOK WORKS, and before you ask, it worked PERFECTLY BEFORE INSTALLING THIS ANTIVIRUS I PAID AND NOW I AM NO KEYBOARD.

Having upgraded to Premium from Total Security, the virtual keyboard in Safe Money no longer functions correctly. Clicking on the keys does not always register, so passworded files and websites are very difficult to access unless I resort to using the real keyboard, which defeats the point of having a virtual keyboard for security

Hi, After installing Kaspersky I used quick scan after it my pc went black for 2/3 mins. Idk exactly. After that my pc restarted, but my mouse cursor disappeared even tho my mouse is on and same with my keyboard they both have rgb so I know that they are on, but aren't working. I can press any button, but it's not going to work. My mouse is Model O and the keyboard is Genesis Thor 150 After I saw this problem I thought maybe taking mouse usb and keyboards wire and putting them in would work, but nothing. Now I don't know what to do because I can't do anything I have another office mouse with a wire I put it in and still nothing the cursor just won't appear.
