This add-on no longer works with the current Firefox. This probably won't be fixed because there is already the new version "Kaspersky Standard" but I wanted to report it. Or does this still work for anyone?

I have Windows 10 - 64 bit and Kaspersky Internet Security Recently Kaspersky Internet Security blocks updates of Chrome and so I have to exit Kaspersky in order updates to be functioning. Regarding Firefox I have to exit Kaspersky, otherwise nothing works (no updates and no possibility to visit any website). In a past topic of Kaspersky forum I saw somebody for the same problem gave the following solution for this issue: Disable Self-Defense via Settings -> General Exit Kaspersky product, on the Windows Taskbar or hidden icons, right-click the Kaspersky icon, select Exit. Go to folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP21.3\ and rename…

Hello Every time I visit this webshop, I get a warning message. I have tested the website in the Kaspersky-Tool, where no virus or similar could be found - see attachment. Why does this message appear (how to fix it?) because the website owner told me that they could not find a virus on their site? Thank you

After uninstalling Kaspersky, I'm encountering an issue with Windows Defender Firewall starting and immediately stopping. Microsoft Firewall Defender troubleshooter also indicates that Kaspersky is still running, even though it has been uninstalled. Is there any utility or registry manipulation I can use to fully clean up the Kaspersky leftovers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was trying to make a bank transaction in Chrome. Normally Kaspersky transfers me to the protected browser to make a safe transaction. This time I got this message: Failed to run Protected Browser. Reason: The process was aborted. What shall I do? The major problem is that the passwords I need to connect to my bank are stored in the Protected Browser, not in my normal browser of chrome. Is there a way to access my stored passwords? Thank you

I have few question regarding renewal of KIS. I have KIS installed on Vista and Windows 7 PC's. Sinnce KIS is no longer available, can I install Kaspersky Standard on Vista and Windows 7? If not, can I buy KIS keys? It would be preffered option for me, rather than installing KS. Thanks.

Hi, I recently installed Kaspersky internet security iPhone . The Anti phishing is scanning links even when I'm not browsing. I keep getting notifications "Unable to check the link, Please be careful when browsing this site" Since installing the app, kaspersky has scanned around 7000 links and I surely have not visited so many links in past 24 hours. Is this a bug ? Which links is Kaspersky scanning ? Did anyone experience this issue and what is the solution.

My outgoing email is continuously offline. (SMTP server) I have narrowed this down to kaspersky's IDS content filter under network settings. I turn off the network attack blocker and the IDS content filter remains disabled. And apple mail outgoing then works fine. Is there anyway I can enable the network attack blocker and keep my smtp server connection online? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Adrian

This is something that has been happening for a few days already, When I'm developing on PHPStorm/Goland on WSL2, Windows cannot start new threads in a timely manner. The processor and memory look normal, and existing threads work well, but it hangs if you try to start a new application or thread, e.g., open a new Chrome browser. It usually takes 10~15 minutes for the system to recover, and the recovery is slow. During the issue, each thread takes ~45 seconds to start. If I pause the KIS protection, the system fully recovers in ~30 seconds. Without pausing the KIS protection, the system recovers by itself, but it takes longer, and the thread start time …

Hello, today I created a Kasperskyaccount, to buy 2 more years of the internet security. Then I received the email below, which was marked as Spam and not safe. At the first look it seems ok but the mentioned managing director is not the manging director anymore. I found a discussion from 2022, having some sort of similar trouble with this email adress ("*****@*****.tld"). But there the content of the email was diffrent, so that is why I created a new topic. Can someone verify, that this email is from Kaspersky and safe? I tracked the IP-Adress to Salt-Lake-City, Utah. If you need more informations, just text me.

Turning off protection entirely is the only way I found to get pages to load. What's more confusion is that neither Network Monitor, nor Application Activity lists Chrome at all.

Sometimes Kaspersky Internet Security turns off unexpectedly and I am getting a notice by Windows 10 to turn it on. Why this happens and how can be resolved ? This happens because of a hacker attack and if yes Internet Security is so weak to turn off ?

OK so you decided, yes thanks to the US Government, to slap some fly by night "UltraAV" product on all of our computers here. It is absolutely a pile of crap. That is not here or there at this point. But you already shared every one of your US customers pieces of information with them, without my consent anyway. Not even remotely ok to do so. My BIGGER concern is auto renewal. Did you hand them all of your US customers billing information as well? I DO NOT WANT THIS CRAP on my computer and i do not want it renewed automatically. It appears from my stop at UltraAv's website that they are not remotely ready to take on customer support for all the new customers t…

I have two HP computers, one laptop and one desktop that are now stuck in boot loop after UltraAV was installed on my computers without my consent. Have verified both have no issues with drive and hardware. One I had a good back up for, the other I only have an outdated one. VERY unhappy with what Kaspersky has done to me. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and this is the software they decide to use as a replacement and dump it on my computer without my consent.

Today, I'm no longer able to to open any of my usual online banking sites using Kaspersky's protected browser due to certificate verification errors. It's the same on four different banks that I use. Kaspersky is up-to-date in terms of definitions and its version is 21.3.10.391. The browser I'm using is Google Chrome. Restarting the browser or the PC did not help. Please advise. The error message popping up is: Certificate verification problem detected Certificate verification service is not available (error: 0x000000ff)

Hello, I'm waiting for an answer from the Karpensky technical centre, but I would appreciate it if someone could give me some advice on how to solve this annoying problem: at all hours I get all the same notifications, even 50 in a few minutes, and the wording is always the same" Impossible to check. Be careful when browsing this site". They are annoying, useless and invasive. 6 months ago I was told by the technical centre that it was a bug to be corrected, but still, to this day, they are in the same condition. Does anyone else have the same problem as me? Thanks! iPhone 15 and antivirus Vpn & Security by Kaspersky . greetings by Roberto

The problem is that I am unable to do the above. I raised the issue with Channel 5 customer service team. I did all things it advised such as clearing cookies and cache, pausing KIS as it was suggested that it might be preventing my downloading a programme but none of the suggestions worked. I had even put Channel 5 on the "whitelist" in case it was the anti banner security. In a nutshell I am able to sign in on Channel 5 as a member and click on the chosen programme but when I click the "Watch Episode " box it gives me the opening still picture of it and a continuously rotating wheel only I also explained that I experience no problems with BBC, ITVX or UKTVPlay to …

I am so frustrated that Kaspersky has no real customer service! I am reduced to asking my fellow consumers for help about how to stop Kaspersky from fraudulently charging me a yearly subscription for a subscription that is not even active anymore. The year 2020 is when I cancelled my subscription and so for the last 3 years they have been fraudulently charging me!!! Now I try to tell PayPal to stop paying them because it is a fraudulent charge and now I have to provide proof that I canceled and exactly when it was cancelled. I went to my Kaspersky profile and found nothing but a free subscription begging me to upgrade and some VPN asking me for an upgrade. There was no pa…

I used to format my computer often and enter the product key every time. The product is Kaspersky Internet security "2 devices."
