Yes it can, via behavior blocker detection (System Watcher), or via getting an untrusted verdict for a file via KSN (cloud). Yes, Defender detected that dll on demand, but not via resident protection, so that dll was probably inactive, as a leftover... a dll can't run by itself.

IF (you've) purchased Kaspersky Plus at a physical local store, please read: Where to find the activation code I bought? & Via a retail partner store "If you bought a license activation or a license renewal card, you can find the code on the back of the card." Yes, the 'card' is in the box that the Kaspersky plus software is in, generally you need to 'scratch' to uncover the activation-code - do the *scratching* very carefully. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋
