Hello Thanks for your reply It's a desktop (no battery) I've already looked at the different settings @Berny recommended, but I still have the same problem Don't use a proxy server, Uncheck the Games box, etc... I was wondering about the frequency, because if I close Kas (for some reason) and restart it, even after several hours, the databases are not up to date (if I do it manually, they are updated and the time indicated goes back 2, 3 or more hours) Thanks

Welcome to Kaspersky. Default settings updates the product every 2 hours, but You can set up to every 1. Are You using a laptop in battery? -

Hello How often, or when does K check for database updates ? I've had to manually update them for several days (weeks ?) most of the time Especially if I happen to close K for an hour, for example, but the PC is on for 7 or 8 hours Same use for years, and never had a problem like this Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome and for getting back to me! The issue is resolved, it was a mouse cord issue, I've found the location and "patched" it up. I wrongly associated it with the antivirus, because the issue started back when I installed the antivirus, but it was actually my passionate movements of the mouse during online FPS sessions that caused the cord to become loose. I'm very much attached to my configuration and Win 8.1. Not just because it's the great OS, it isn't, Win 7 is way better, but it's what I have and can run on a 3rd gen i3 CPU and it runs good. Also lots of older games installed on it is what makes me want to stick with it forever, if possible. If you could please permit me to ask one unrelated question here. When is Kaspersky's antivirus going to stop working on my OS? -

Why would I downgrade to standard when I can just disable Intrusion Prevention with one click? Anyway I managed to fix it by disabling monitoring for parent application which is python.exe, doing that for a script is impossible because every edit changes checksum and resets Intrusion Prevention settings for that script -

Guten Morgen, vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Ich habe die Einstellungen nun gefunden und nach einem Neustart des PC bleiben diese Benachrichtigungen aus. Ich versehe nur nicht, warum Kaspersky dies nicht gleich als Grundeinstellung vorsieht, anstatt User damit zu nerven, die nicht zu Zeit haben, sich in die Software so tief reinknien zu müssen. Vielen Dank. Ich konnte jetzt die Benachrichtigungen deaktivieren. Hat nur viel Zeit gekostet. -
