Unable to import password from Firefox

Recommended Posts

@Apmyp,

  • Patch k is being rolled out in staggered distribution.
  • If you don’t have patchthere’s no point testing the issue.
  • Ensure the computer is rebooted once every 24hrs to apply any patch.
  • After applying patch k and BEFORE testing the issue: create a KPM backup & export KPM application passwords, in case something screws up, recovery will be simple.

Thank you🙏

Hi @AleROMA

Welcome again!

  • Patch K for Kaspersky Password Manager for Windows version 9.0.2.767 was released on July 6, 2020.
  • Where would you like us to answer & in what language, here in the English section, noting we are banned from using a translator, commonly used across the globe, in every other business; or in your duplicated topic, in the Italian section?

Please advise?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Anton Mefodys,

KPM 9.0.2.14151 (n) import from Firefox works✅

  • Import from Chrome does not work❌ , passwords cannot be imported direct from Chrome browser, like Firefox, they have to be managed/manipulated from the Chrome User Password Manager (different interface) → even tho the KPM, Import from Chrome pops a “Successful” window, the KPM data does not change.

Thank you🙏
